[2013-11-05] A Google User: Average after using the IPAD version which I loved, i was expecting the same great functionality. Its not. Its cumbersome to use. However, it is nice to have something that lets you have remote access to your computer when you need it. Just know ahead, you might need head ache relief from the experience. |
[2013-10-31] A Google User: Love this app but.. For the last while I have not been able to log into a computer. It stays stuck on connecting to remote host at 1/5 of the progress bar then suddenly jumps in but the desktop just appears black |
[2013-10-31] A Google User: Works great I use LogMeIn Central to access all my computers at work and have always been very satisfied. |
[2013-10-31] A Google User: A lifesaver Excellent emergency interface to non mobile computers... Used several times to avoid travel. |
[2013-10-26] A Google User: Excellent app! Does everything I need it to do, and more! |
[2013-10-21] A Google User: App Looks Great, Works NOT! I purchased the app based on a friends recommendation. It was a pain to get set up, requiring some guessing on my part, and took me over two hours to do. Then, when it brought up my desktop on my tablet (the reason I got it), the desktop was very small and functionality near impossible. Don't get it unless you have a mouse and can truly emulate your desktop. Of course most tablets aren't set up that way... |
[2013-10-12] A Google User: Orientation Would be great if you added orientation for the screen view. |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: Distorted screen I purchased this app because I use it at work to help people with their cell phone problems. But when I installed this version, when I was finally able to connect to my laptop, the screen had thick black bars in three parts of the screen. I went to get a refund from the manufacturer, but all I'm getting is one excuse after another as to why they won't let refund my money. I'm ready to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! Buyer beware!! |
[2013-10-05] A Google User: No longer works Worked great on my thunderbolt, opens up on my one but is non-responsive to taps so really just functions as a viewer at this point. |
[2013-09-28] A Google User: Direct mode doesn't work Works well, but would be nice if the direct mode worked on Android. |
[2013-09-15] A Google User: Love Logmein, but Android version is lacking. I use Logmein on a fairly regular basis, logging into my office computer remotely to save time and money reviewing, making minor edits, and sometimes completing entire video projects while on the road, or late at night in my bed. I am, however, disappointed with the lack of functionality on the Android version as compared to the web or iOS versions. Where is the functionality to remotely manage or transfer files? Why can't we utilize the HD mode? Please implement these in the future. |
[2013-09-10] A Google User: Awesome! Love it works great, and surprisingly sips on dataso I'm not too worried about using it on 4g with data limits |
[2013-09-07] A Google User: Just an amazing tool! |
[2013-09-06] A Google User: Awesome. Runs great even on my old s2. Love it! Worth the price. |
[2013-09-04] A Google User: Amazing I have been using logmein for a couple of years. And still proves to be the best out there. I have no need to look for a new program. Needs the file transfer like ios version. But still can't go seek another one. |
[2013-09-03] A Google User: Fails to connect Fails to connect when starting after being minimized |
[2013-09-03] A Google User: Love this company. Great app but a little pricey. |
[2013-09-02] A Google User: very good but... I wish there was an option to find out how long the user has been away from the computer. add search on top bar instead of under menu--> search. |
[2013-09-02] A Google User: Slows downed and caused numerous problems, deleted app. |
[2013-08-23] A Google User: Very useful |
[2013-08-22] A Google User: Great for business! I work on the go and to be able to log into my home computer and start printing the next set of documents is great! The only issue I've ever had is that I can log in but then won't be able to open the file to be printed. Everything else works, I just can't select and open the file. But all in all, this is a great tool!! |
[2013-08-15] A Google User: works on Samsung Infuse 4G Well |
[2013-08-12] A Google User: Cannot complete login from android tablet Deleted and reinstalled and still can't get it to connect! |
[2013-08-08] A Google User: The best remote app, period! Adding chromecast support would be the icing on the cake... Imagine working on your 55" LCD |
[2013-08-07] A Google User: Poor value Same functionality as the iOS FREE app. Better off just using using chrome to login |
[2013-07-29] A Google User: Great app I use it all the time. |
[2013-07-15] A Google User: Just awful I paid $30 for this? I don't understand why it's free on iOS but I have to pay $30 for a FAR inferior version. Every time I re-open the app, I have to kill it and re-open it AGAIN. |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Works Good on nexus7 |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Good But Would Be Nice to Remember Multiple Logins It took me a little while to get used to the way you move the cursor. At first I was really bothered because I felt like it should open the thing I tapped on. After I used it a bit and saw how I was moving the little cursor on screen, I realized this offered the benefit of having a more precise click than my large fingers on my smartphone would otherwise be able to select. So although the clicking is initially unintuitive I do think it is a good approach. One thing I was a little disappointed in, however, was that it doesn't have a means of keeping track of multiple accounts. I regularly login to several different LogMeIn accounts and it would be really nice if it could keep track of the user and password for the different accounts. Without this it makes it significantly more cumbersome for me to use this feature. The envisioned situation in which I would use this would be when I am out of my office and I wouldn't have easy access to the user names and passwords for the various accounts I have to access. |
[2013-07-02] A Google User: Just enough... but not good enough It works. but the ios client is a million times better. You can't remotely download files on the android version... fail. |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Decent Does well in a pinch, but not great for more than a few steps. What can you expect off your phone though. , |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Can't mouse click.... Samsung Galaxy S4. Android client won't pass mouse clicks to server machine. Useless. Needs updating and better testing! |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Yes Good good good |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Limited zoom The zoom on android app is only about half that of the iphone app (while at the host desktop) Very difficult to use some software as a result. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Use Caution when Buying Aside from the app not working, the company "Has no procedure for refunds at this time" - June 5, 2013. The app is slow, and will not open files as it should. GOOGLE PLAY has a 15 minute policy to receive a refund. It takes a bit more than 15 minutes to decide the functionality of this app. I followed the instructions by GOOGLE PLAY to contact the app administrator LOGMEIN in less than 24 hours after downloading and purchasing the product for $29.99. I was first told to go back to GOOGLE PLAY and had to explain that I already did and was following their instructions. I was told that there is no policy for refunds but I could talk to someone about upgrading. I do not want to upgrade from something that cost $29.99 and cannot even basically work. I certainly do not have time or wish to waste any more of it on faulty apps and products because it is the only recourse available. I have never heard of a company (internet or otherwise) who would sell a broken product and not provide a refund. Unbelievable but so true. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: Great when it works Great app, very intuitive works awesome....when it works. Crashes 40% of the time on my Galaxy S3. |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: Still the best No one has come up with anything better yet you can hardly complain |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Awesome Sweet app |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: No remote file browsing? I was very disappointed to see I can't browse files on remote computers in the android version like I could with the ios version, especially after dropping $30. Is this a feature coming soon? |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Over 1000 devices and it crashes on start Obviously not fully tested. Came back from ios and I still have the same crashes with this app. Good thing I still have my ipad. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Logmein needs to step up game in droid I have used logmeins ios app and loved it. Especially the file transfer utility. I was surprised that android version did nit come with this feature. Money thrown away, I guess. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Just works Expensive but it works. Just login your account and go! Pretty accurate as well. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Sucks since May use teamviewer or mikogo or crossloop. Even though I paid for this app it looks like I'm limited to 10 computers unless I pay $200. Sorry but that is too much to access the basic functions. If it were for logmein pro and rescue for $200/yr then I could justify it. Please don't be so greedy and more people would be happy to shell out $100/yr for basic functionality. |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Needs improvement The update brought some much needed improvements, however a bit too late. I've already moved on to splash top and am much happier. Sorry LogMeIn team. |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Keeps crashing on my note 2 I have a couple of profiles. One profile is over 1000 computers. When I keep my account on this profile, ignition keeps on crashing. The profiles with small amounts of computers are ok. But I need to switch it over to these profiles first or else it will keep crashing. |
[2013-05-18] A Google User: Average It screws up my icons on my desk top every time I use this. It work 10 times better on my ipad. |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: great mobile version of a great programGreat mobile version of a great program great mobile version of a great program |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Great minus 1 needed feature Great app to access your PCs remotely. Still, for as long as this app has been out for Android devices, WHY IS THERE NO FILE TRANSFER CAPABILITY? ?? The iphone ipad app has had this feature for the longest time. |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Awesome reliable app |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Great app! |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: People are confused Some reviewers are confusing the free version of this app on IOS with this one. The free version requires you to pay the monthly fee. This version is a one time payment and then you can use it without a monthly fee. So $30 isn't so outrageous. I have the iPhone/iPad paid version also on my iPad. This is Logmein Ignition and costs $130 on IOS. That is not a misprint. I bought it on IOS when it was still $30. It is well worth it. Don't be confused by misinformed reviewers. |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Crashes on Fire Crashes when I run it on my Kindle Fire running CM7. The problem is due to LogMeIn not liking the LCD's pixel density in build.prop. It works perfectly if you change the setting away from 160. Fix it LogMeIn, this should work!! Especially for the ridiculous amount you charge. Fix it. |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Greatest remote app Love it, and use it every day. |
[2013-05-12] A Google User: Criminal Does NOT WORK on multiple monitor setups! I don't know anyone with just 1 monitor. The desktop version supports it so they basically stole $30, as it's useless. |
[2013-05-07] A Google User: Seriously a waste of $30 Downloaded this app and hour ago and guess how many times I was able to login to my desktop? Zilch, nada, not once. The one small consolation I have is I didn't plunk down the additional $54 for the pro version. I would not recommend this app to anyone. |
[2013-05-05] A Google User: Works great Very cool app and works great over wifi. I can access any of my machines from my phone or tablet rather easily now. |
[2013-04-30] A Google User: Love it Works really well regardless of platform only gripe is the mouse is a bit of a dog to use sometimes |
[2013-04-29] A Google User: For $2.999 I'm calling it a company expense. It works but this price point is ridiculous. No one should pay out of pocket for this app. |
[2013-04-29] A Google User: Numbers dont work. When logged into a system, I can not type numbers. Please help! |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: 4.2 Broken in 4.2 - PLEASE FIX... Also can we get a version that is at least competitive with the iOS version? What the hell |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: 7 years and I'm switching I have been using logmein for years and have grinned and bared the awful mouse setup for phones. I called them and asked why direct mouse was not supported on the phone. They didn't know and said maybe some day it would be added. This forced me to check out the competition (which I never had) Wow!!!! There are MANY other remote desktop apps that far exceed logmein. JumpDesktop, Splashtop 2 and PocketCloud are far superior in speed and features. Please don't take my word for it. Try them and see! |
[2013-04-18] A Google User: Works well, but not $30 well. It's a very expensive app. I don't think it's really worth $30, but it does work well. |
[2013-04-10] A Google User: Best app out there No longer does it matter if you forget to print out a document or leave your flash drive at home. Allows mobile access from literally anywhere. |
[2013-04-06] A Google User: Great when it works I have a central account linked to my login that has hundreds of computers, I think that this sometimes overwhelms the app and it closes while logging in instead of displaying the list of computers. |
[2013-04-02] A Google User: Used to work perfectly on Asus t101, stopped working after the last update. For those of you crying that this is free on IOS, it was never free on either platform. I had to pay twice, one for Android, one for IOS. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Genielinda seems as Logmein hangs up connecting to host computer..i updated phone software no help advice? |
[2013-03-26] A Google User: Life saver Worth the money all day. |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Sucks Orientation issues. Stupid mouse on screen. Video & images not representative of actual product. Very difficult to use. It doesn't matter if you have a pro2 subscription or not, if the remote side isn't usable. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: You got me :p After shameless years of pirating on different phones, logmein was by far the best and works behind any firewall. Caved in and bought it :) I agree with others, android should get more if paid but this app does everything perfect. |
[2013-03-20] A Google User: Meh Not too pleased that I dropped $30 bucks on an app and that didn't get me premium membership access. They expect you to pay $70 per year per computer to maintain full access. That's a ripoff. I went with splashtop 2 and it does almost everything the premium of this does, and it's only $17 a year. |
[2013-03-16] A Google User: Does not work on RAZR hd Force close on RAZR hd |
[2013-03-05] A Google User: Add file support! I am a huge fan of the iPhone version of this app. The android version is missing the one feature I bought the app for, the remote file browser. Please add that feature to android. |
[2013-03-04] A Google User: It's functional, but navigating accessing files and apps on the target pc is difficult. Only use it out of absolute necessity. |
[2013-02-24] A Google User: Log Me In is Fantastic! For the price of one month's of the Other Guys I can control the 200 computers in my charge from anywhere. |
[2013-02-23] A Google User: Tab 7.7" Slow responed when use 3g. |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: Works great Not really worth the price but it's pretty good. |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: New update Keeps crashing after update :-( |
[2013-02-12] A Google User: Won't Use External Mouse Two years and they still haven't worked out how to hook the Android mouse? I forked over $30 because I thought these chuckleheads knew what they were doing. Wrong. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: The application does not work, it is a ripoff I bought this application yesterday for about $32. It does not work. I contacted the developers and they tried to help me. Still does not work. GooglePlay allows to return the application within 15 min, which is ridiculous. I did not have time to check how this application is working within 15 min. I want to let you, guys, know, that I will stop the payment. My advise to others, please be careful. I cannot even give this application 1 star, but I am requested to give at least 1 star to submit this review. |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Why do you need access to my phone records ??? Im very disappointed with the new version. Why don't you give us access to all your logmein employee phone records? ?? Exactly |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Expensive!!! Works great, just cost too much to give 5 stars! I already bought Logmein Pro and I still have to pay for this? |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: Terrible app Teamviewer is the free better version there is no point to this app at all and waste of $30 never download this get 'teamviewer' free |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Wonderful! I am amazed how well this works on my Samsung Galaxy Note. I have used other apps that are similar but this one surpasses them. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Awesome! We use LogMeIn at work regularly. But when I'm not at my computer, having this app on my tablet (Asus Transformer 300) and phone (Samsung GS3) makes it so easy to work remotely. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Lack of keyboard arrow keys Using the arrow keys are very important for me. 5 stars if this is updated to support keyboard arrow keys on a mobile device. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Galaxy S3 Worst app ever. Was amazing on my iPhone. So I was willing to pay when I moved to my android. The interface is slow and sloppy, plus it was a pain to install and set up initially. I have yet to hear a response from the company despitr my numerous emails. |
[2013-01-19] A Google User: An OK app Works well. Those what it Saaid its going to do. To expensive plus monthly charged |
[2013-01-17] A Google User: Keeps crashing after windows authentication I am giving three stars because the application use to work correctly but now it crashes immediately post windows login screen. Please help. |
[2013-01-17] A Google User: Works great Use it everyday and it works great. |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Its just alright, not necessary to use. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Still waiting for file transfer I bought this app with the understanding it will support file transfer like the phone version eventually. Well its been over a year and still no file transfer function.....feel like I wasted money |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Like a charm Using this app for over 2 years, love it. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Still the best remote app... Use it all the time and have to say it's still the best remote app on the market...Running on a Toshiba Thrive and an Atrix 2... |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Works well, and but not free like on iOS It is a fairly solid application. It gives an occasional crash report on my Nexus 7, but doesn't crash. Also, I am disappointed that I paid $20 for the app and it is free (and improved) on iOS. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: $29.99? I don't understand how they can charge $29.99 for a product that they offer to iPhone's for free. I was told over live chat that it included the Pro edition but it appears that I have been lied to. I now have an app that I could still be using for free on my iTouch. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: UNBELIVEABLE GARBAGE! Expensive, but works fine on my galaxy s3 |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Excellent remote desktop app I've been using the app since i switched to android about three years ago, the connection is good and I'm able to manage my devices with ease. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Great! Samsung galaxy note 10.1, android 4.1.1, app works great! |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: NOT WORKING ON JELLYBEAN Was working fine, now crashes when launched. $30 down the drain |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Useful |
