LDAP Sync is a LDAP synchronization adapter for Android phones. It integrates seamlessly into the Android accounts and allows the synchronization of contacts stored in a LDAP or Active Directory server.
After installation add the LDAP account via Settings > Accounts & sync.

[2011-07-04] A Google User: Author Gives No Support and App Does Not Work Have attempted to contact the developer on many occasions. No answer whatsoever. Upon upgrading to Android 2.2.2 on Droid X2 this app stopped working altogether. It seems to be a permissions problem with Activity Manager but Daniel doesn't seem to care. He took my money, though. |

[2011-07-04] David Baron: makes phone unstable While it does what it says, it has two major problems for me: First, it's not possible to change the details of an account configuration (e.g., because I changed my password, or because I want to use a different Base DN). I have to delete the account and recreate it. Second, and more importantly, it makes my phone (an LG Optimus V) quite unstable: lots of modal "application crashed" dialogs starting when the phone's been running for about a day, including crashes of some pretty core phone functions. |
