[2013-07-15] A Google User: Awesome I do not know what I would do without lastpass. I have way too many passwords to remember. But at least now they are all long and complex :-D. |
[2013-07-13] A Google User: Impressive This app is fantastic! |
[2013-07-13] A Google User: desktop Version is free. desktop Version is free and functionality is seamless. 1 buck per month just to save passwords. U gotta be kidding me. |
[2013-07-13] A Google User: Premium User Desktop add-on is rather useful but the android app is not too handy. At times, it does not recognize the sites I want to log on. Fill forms are just ntouchable. |
[2013-07-13] A Google User: Best show in town Keep up the good work! |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: It is NOT free.14 days free trial. Sneaky. Not happy, Jan. |
[2013-07-11] A Google User: Look no further Best password manager I have found. Very secure and does everything and more that I ask of it. |
[2013-07-10] A Google User: Best App! Love this app! Keeps my passwords safe and all of my favorite sites at hand all the time! |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Great product! Integration gets a little goofy... I think thats more the android side than lastpass. |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: The UI is so bad that you think this is some kind of joke |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Review- Excellent application. |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Blah It's ok I guess |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Poor Design The user interface looks very dated and doesn't conform to basic Android design guidelines. The menu hasn't even been integrated into the app and results in a menu button appearing in a bottom bar on the HTC One. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: KeypassDroid is FREE!!! WTF, do you really believe I'll pay $1/month for password vault??? Get keypass for free, with more options and all-platforms app. In addition, android version is a junk, compared to iOS, but on the same price. Finally, I think call for the app "free", while actually a shareware, is a fraud. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Great service, ok app I would never think to go without LastPass (awesome service), but app needs support for Chrome mobile to work more seamlessly. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Lastpass Or, you could just make a MOBILE FRIENDLY WEBSITE |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Love it Greats thing since sliced bread |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Alright, but lack of updates and showing age Last pass was the first service that fundamentally changed the way I use passwords on websites, and for that I am thankful. However the android interface seems to be showing it's age. Unless this gets more updates and features, I will not be renewing my account and I will be switching to KeePass. It has features that more suit this multi tasking age. |
[2013-07-04] A Google User: Awesome service! The secure and sane way to manage our 21st century identities. Mobile app not perfect but a must-have desktop add-on & worth every penny. |
[2013-07-03] A Google User: Why is it shown in Play store as a free app when it isn't? Such a shame, when it is such a good program. Not prepared to pay for an android app which is mis-sold and which is free on my PC. |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: App needs improvement I really like lastpass, and I am thinking about purchasing a year of premium. But this app needs some improvement. Please remove the legacy menu for those of us with no menu button. |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Pass Needs better app UI and browser integration. The input method is a nice idea but scrolling through every site gets old. Take a cue from safe-in-cloud. |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Must have. Seems to be very stable across the board. |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Confused Trying to understand how the app works. Cant figure out the dolphin extension. Am i forced to use the lastpass built in browser? |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Trail only Nothing that I could see before installing indicated that this was only a 14 day trial |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Should be free Why would you pay for this when you can use the website for free. |
[2013-06-27] A Google User: Great service, crappy UI Please last pass, get rid of the stupid gingerbread UI. Holo ain't that hard. |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Lastpass is simple to use I like Lastpass & the way it manages. Mobile app should be improved. I don't see it rich & much user interactive. |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Super Great app |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Expensive I was surprised to see that this app costs $12 a year, particularly since Keepass is a free competitor. |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Poor UI For non-browser use, the workflow is difficult and has way too many steps. The average user will never copy and paste. |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Nexus 7 / TF101 Loaded it in Nexus 7, just to find out only good for 14 days. What don't people understand about the world FREE. If you say it's FREE......then don't charge us 14 days later. Uninstalled on all my tablets. |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Freeware or shareware After 30 days will expire. |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Fake free app This is really a 14trial |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: It should be better I have been a Lastpass user for a couple of years and love it on the desktop, but the android app is very limited. The keyboard is too primitive (it should be easier to type numbers and symbols) and it does not do a very good job of identifying common apps like Gmail or the Play store login; it is necessary to go to groups and search for the required login, which is a pain. I hope that Lastpass will devote more efforts to improving this app. |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: Yes Really comes in handy |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: Terrible UI on Android Also not free. |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: Great app App works fine (using copy notifications) and the all round service is a great one. 4 stars as the interface really could do with an update to bring it inline with a jellybean look |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Invaluable Great service. The desktop client is great, as mentioned the app is in need of a serious overhaul in both functionality and UI. |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Great app |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Lastpass no longer the premium mgr Lastpass was the best tool out there for a long time, but I've recently come across Dashlane and it makes Lastpass look absolutly archaic. Lastpass is a great app and I've trusted it with my passwords for over 2 years, but the interface has always been clunky and badly designed. Time for me to move on. Thanks for a great app, and hope you can respond to the new kid in the block. |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Not renewing a subscription I used this app and was a premium member for a year. I thought I'd let you guys know why I will not be renewing my subscription, this app is badly designed, clunky, buggy and not worth the $12/yr that you expect users to pay. I will gladly give it another go if at least you make it look as a proper android app. |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: WTF? My trial ends, so to get premium, you pop up a box telling me to go to your site, but you couldn't have made the OK button, a link to the site? great programmers you have working there. |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Use it more than a year Use this app for more than year without any complaint. Super useful! But please improve your UI ;) |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Love it! |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Great app and platform Secure and easy to use. Keeps all my client logins and door codes secure but accessible everywhere. |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: Overall, I really like it Works well; not perfectly. Looks antiquated; could use a facelift. |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: Ok but horrible gui Make it look nicer and I'll buy it :) |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: MUSTA HAVE!! this is a must have application. no more remembering of passwords. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: I love LastPass for Chrome... and having an android version is definitely a must so I paid for it, but this version really feels like a second class citizen of all LastPass product :-( |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Absolutely the best It's secure and It always works. If you are concerned with Web security (and you should be), this is a indispensable application. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: very good!! recommended by a good friend |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Can't live without |
[2013-06-17] A Google User: Great security across many platforms Bang bang daddy! |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Excellent product Been using lastpass for a year. Excellent service especially with Google two factor authentication. Works great. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: The last password manager Ill ever need Its easy to use, and sync your data. |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: App is "OK" I guess Lastpass is great overall but the android app isn't so great. The UI is dated and boring. But it works. One problem I ran into is my Premium subscription expired and Lastpass was unable to bill my credit card (old card), and I got no notification email about it. Not too good. The app told me my trial period was over. Hmm, kinda shabby programming there. If this were any other app I'd give it 2 stars, but hey, it's Lastpass. :) |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Is it paid ? As soon as I installed it popped up a message saying I got 14 days for free trial. It didnt show any price tag while installing from play. I have been using it free on my pc since years and its the same account I sinced. I am not a new member. Will u reply and clarify for the benefit of all asap ? |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Annoying Stupidly, I must have downloaded the trial version and then not used it immediately, so I had to purchase it to test it out. I'd assumed an android version would mean it would be useful for managing app passwords, but it seems to be principally for web browsers, much like the way it works on a PC. As I only tend to use apps on my smartphone it seems pretty pointless. There are instructions on LastPass's website on how to copy and paste user details from the lastpass app into the app you're trying to sign into, but the process is a) ridiculously crude (as if it was an afterthought) and b) doesn't seem to work on my phone. So if you use LastPass to generate complex passwords, which you'll never remember, I imagine you run the risk of locking yourself out of your apps. To summarise, it's useful if you use the browser on your phone to access online accounts, but lousy to sign into apps. |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Summary - w7 + Android Support er ★ Comment » i Agree wirh htc desire january revieew *-*• god bless. Yea! •*-* |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Love it I am a web analytics manager with hundreds of test accounts and logins. I could not keep my head on straight without this application! |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Great Security add on A must have for on line accounts and shopping. |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Good app I've used this for awhile and it does everything I need it to do |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Really works for me I never know my password so this is the best hope to keep track of my life. |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Needs to update This app really needs a UI overhaul and to be integrated into the android platform. I like the app but have been really considering to switch to dashlane, which is a lot more user friendly and as good or better than lastpass. Really tired to hang on until the devs are open to critiques. |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Must have! |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Desperately needs an update. The LastPass service is amazing, but the app is in serious need of a rewrite. The workflow is just no good, and there are obvious improvements that could be made to the keyboard (least of which is the desperately-needed upgrade to Android 4.0 interface guidelines.) Will change rating when you take Android seriously again. |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Ugly UI Decent app but UI needs a lot of improvement! |
[2013-06-12] A Google User: Crap Utter crap. Free version pesters you with warnings. Would not fill in passwords for most sites |
[2013-06-10] A Google User: Must have app This is the first app I load. Great stuff. Could be a little more intuitive about Android apps, but then I'd have to give it six stars. |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Pathetic Compared to the iOS app, this is pathetic. I can't believe they haven't updated this thing at all. |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Horrible UI. Just Shameful and careless design Lastpass has great features and very affordable cost. Their webplugins are ok design, thought not great. But this Android app is just shameful design. Look at the label and value pairs. They are not one below others. The login screen has a tiny login basic button, the fonts are tiny, etc.. I mean everything is done here just for the sake of having an Android app. The design can be improved by just commonsense. I am ready to offer free design service. I am UX/UI designer working on mobile apps. I had send you some sample designs. But you guys are just not ready to take any kind of feedback on improving UX. You have closed your eyes. Just shameful. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: Need improved browser, good start I would love this app if it was integrated with Chrome, but I know Chrome for Android doesn't support extensions so unfortunately i won't be using it. If the inbuilt browser provided was greatly improved i might consider using it a bit more for sensitive sites. I Use Lastpass on my PC browser, and think its amazing, i would never store unencrypted passwords in chrome. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: Great Nice not to have to remember and re-type passwords ! |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: Does not work with Chrome Uses modified version of the old default android browser; would be preferable as a chrome plugin. |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: I love lastpass, but not the app. Lastpass is a great service and I use it a lot, but I do agree with other reviewers here that the UX for the Android app does need a lot of work. It almost like an insult to us who prefer Android. While you're at it, I also think that it would be a good idea to include an option in the menu to safely QUIT the lastpass app. There's been a number of times where I wanted to do that because I needed to hand my tablet to someone or leave it somewhere and I do not want anyone accessing my passwords. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Not free, not very good Unlike versions for iPad and other operating systems, this is not free or very good. It's trial-ware. Play store needs to review this app for deceptive advertising. |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: Won't get me to buy Premium This program should be a browser plug in of some sort, but not a browser in itself. And I agree that it looks like a kid threw together some controls. |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: Totally Rockin' THANKS for a LOT LESS STRESS! ^_^ |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: Premium? This app is a joke, especially if you expect me to pay for the service. The iPhone version is free to use, but I have to pay? App is clunky and doesn't integrate at all with any of the browsers. It feels like this was put together in someone's off-time and somehow got past your filters. If you can't put together something decent, I can look for alternatives for Android and Web. |
[2013-06-02] A Google User: Great service, but... Really needs to find a away to integrate seamlessly with Chrome on Android. |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Awesome app. Best password manager for all your devices and computers. Not free, but for me it's very much worth it. |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Best password manager on the market |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Functional good, not very user friendly Functionally it so seems to be there. But the UI is really bad and unintuitive. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Brilliant Great for additional security |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Great App is not beautiful but works really good. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Good function... But..this application has a terrible interface thatis very much like an old android version. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Ugly app, useful service. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: A must have app |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: GUI sucks! I pay every year for Lastpass service and i pretend that mobile app is usable and nice to see. And this is not the case. Disappointed. |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: It says free Had problems with my phone so my provider tells me to uninstall all my apps and reinstall them. I come back to lastpass today after doing all of this, and its now telling me I need to purchase it because my trial has expired. Where does it say that this is a trial version? It says its free, so i'm really annoyed as it defeats the purpose to have it at home, but not on the go. |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: The Best This is the best password application on the market and the most secure. Steve Gibson recommends it. I will not use another one, this is THE best. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: one of the best services ever LastPass is a godsend for anyone who wants to make the transition to using a different password for each of his or her online accounts. we all know that reusing passwords is a bad idea. it provides secure centralized storage of an unlimited number of passwords for an unlimited number of accounts, generates new ones for you, and more. this app only gets 4 stars because it fails to properly detect the site on most sites in Firefox and Dolphin, requiring you to select the site manually. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Awful UX, buggy functionality Who are these people who are giving it 4-5 stars? Seriously? That good? It's user interface and experience is awful - like an inexperienced intern put it together over a weekend as a school project. It doesn't work well - even within its own [buggy] browser, it's unable to fill in passwords. For an app that works beautifully on browsers, the mobile version is crappy. It needs to be thrown away and rewritten well. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Needs Updating The UI is still Android 2.x based, could do with reworking to Holo. Be nice if it had a status bar so it is easily accessible from any app. |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: Putting all your eggs in one basket. I took the Premium trial period and have UNINSTALLED LastPass. Why? Because, "LastPass" suddenly began rejecting my master password (which hasn't changed in months). "Account Recovery" failed. This happened 2 days in a row, and suddenly I couldn't get to all the other sites whose PWs I'd forgotten. Sorry, LastPass, you became "too important to fail" -- and then you failed! |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Lastpass good but mediocre app About the only good thing you can say about this app is that you can access your Lastpass vault. Actually using the app is too painful. If you choose pin protection you have to enter it several times. If you want to use with Chrome browser, it's painful. Have seen no discernible improvement in a year. Not sure where the developers are focusing their attention! |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Best password manager ever used. |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Can't live without it... Graet |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: No update in a while. Bugs. Does not recognize correct Master password. Lots of little things broken about the app. Feels like abandonware. |
