[2013-02-01] A Google User: Good app I use this with my laptop for a second screen and it works fine with no issues |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Didnt work Windows 8 didnt see this as an extra screen, just a little copy of part of the existing screen, no use to me, money wasted |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Safe Mode I initially had problems with the desktop application resulting in a BSOD. Safe mode fixed the problem and it is working as advertised, extremely happy, thank you developers. |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Redfly worked this doesn't, and but Redfly now doesn't exisit Redfly was brilliant, but they have all of a sudden disappeared, and leaving I display as an option. I've tried it out wasted my money as usual, but forwarded bug complaints.. To then find loads of other complainers... Redfly worked first time, and worked well, and but they have now disappeared.... I am now left with 2 apps that I have paid for that neither now work... I have now tried this on both a win and vista 32 bit neither work as you would expect, and are more or less unusable.... Redfly on the other hand worked great on vista 32 bit and win 7.... Just really annoyed I upgraded to win and that Redfly has disappeared.... What other apps can I now waste money on... |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: It works great While this works great, there is a little lag and occasionally a hang up, but that might be because of the main computer being ancient. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Win8 only mirrors, videos doesn't stream This can be handy if your configuration is 100% compatible. Too bad there's no trial edition. The company acknowledges that it only mirrors (not span) on Win8 with "certain hardware configurations"; I think the cause of my problem is an AMD GPU. Works fine under win7 except videos doesn't stream if the video is 100% on the Android device; it'll stream if part of the video window is on the computer's screen. For USB to work, you'll need to enable ADB debugging and ADB drivers must be installed and working on the computer. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Works with Windows 8 x64 and Nexus 10 Please fix high CPU usage and get 5 stars al the way. I can confirm it can extend or mirror. Video play back is acceptable but change compressions to streaming. Yotube plays well in full or window mode but cause high cpu utilisation. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great idea, poor dependability I great product. It has a few issues though. Right now, any Google chrome window will not refresh properly. I'm sure this applies to various other applications. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Works OK, but i got why 1 ppl star rants. I give 4 stars, -1 because it's 0.95% synced with mouse movement. The rest works really fine with my Windows 7 (64-bit). IF YOU USE Windows 8 DON'T be dumb to BUY IT YET, wait till they announce support, i'm watching lots of 1star comments from Win8 users... it's just dumb. People, download the iDisplay software to see your compatibility BEFORE buying it or you're just going to feel scammed. iDisplay works well with text, chat, browser, media players, but not good with games for example, where you require 100% sync. Don't be a HATER if you are not a good BUYER or READER. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Doesn't work with Windows 8 AT ALL. I've had nothing with problems with this all day. Been trying with three different computers, and four different android devices. Two computers run Windows 8, 1 runs 7. All Android devices run 4.1 or 4.0 It barely ever connects to the tablets and when it does (at least on 8), it mirrors a portion of the screen. With 7, it just blacks out the entire screen. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: That's what I'm talkin' about This does what air display doesn't: it works. Not perfect, but good enough to use when at client's offices for simple tasks. Thanks. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: It worked on Windows 8 but it only shows part of the screen please fix It worked on Windows 8 but it only shows part of the screen please fix |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Not working for me. Can't get it working on Windows seven with galaxy note 10.1 either on USB or network, have followed all instructions and not working. |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Useless, won't work on Windows 8. Don't waste your money and time. Don't waste your money. |
[2013-01-19] A Google User: Would like better if did not just mirror windows |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Works partly It is possible to extend the screen on Windows 7. On Windows 8 it is only possible to mirror the upper left corner of the primary screen. It doesn't matter what your settings are. It is not possible to extend the desktop. Tested on three different machines on Windows 8 Enterprise and Pro. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: It worked ..but.. Initially, I had to stop and restart the desktop service before my tablet was able to connect. After connecting, it worked wonderfully until my computer randomly crashed. This was the first blue screen of my Windows 7 life. Attempting to evaluate this app took longer than the refund period lasted. So I now have an app for which I cannot get a refund because of a short refund period. But I do recommend trying this app for an individual experience. Just be prepared for some minor inconveniences. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Not Windows 8 x64 COMPATIBLE yet! Bought today, installed on my XOOM, results are shady. Only shows what the Display 1 showing, no option on extending it to the XOOM's Display. I know it is incompatible until I saw the review. Please update your Overview. Fix it ASAP. You need signed drivers to run on x64. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Check for compatibility before purchasing. UPDATE I have to say, the support team have made a decent effort with this. I would recommend that you download the iDisplay desktop application before purchasing to ensure that your pc is compatible with the software. After further research, not even ZoneOS ZoneScreen seems to work. I think there is a driver issue somewhere. If this did work, I would rate higher. 3 stars for the support effort. ORIGINAL This is not great. The I display server just is not compatible with my very simple xp sp3 Asus 6670 machine. Every time I install the server and reboot the PC, my resolution is reduced to a paltry 640 x 480. The only way to resolve this issue is to use system restore to undo the 'driver installation'. I would love this to work. Refund or support please! (I've already used the support page) |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Couldn't mirror screen in vista It could extend the screen but was unable to mirror my vista 64, even after disabling aero, can't tell if this works on mac, but it doesn't on windows vista,i had to uninstall it |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Nice Seemed to work fairly nicely. However, even through USB, it was using 40% of my CPU. |
[2013-01-11] A Google User: Great with N7 and MBP Works great with a Nexus 7 and a Mountain Lion Macbook Pro. |
[2013-01-11] A Google User: If Carlsberg made apps... This is probably the best app I've had. Really, 37 displays? Anyhow, I now have 3 displays and can use. Also works with touch!!!!! My mind is blown |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Simply amazing Helps me when I edit. The usb function is good too as it charges the device as well. But I noticed it was less laggier on the ipad, but on android it is very workable. |
[2013-01-09] A Google User: Does not work properly I will change my rating as soon as a version is released that works. I am using a Nexus 10 and a Windows 8 PC. USB connection does not work at all, it simply says it could not find the desktop application. WiFi sometimes crashes my computer and at its best, it will show some static on my Nexus 10 while my computer works as usual. Please fix this and I will give it 4 or 5 stars depending on how well it works when it works at all. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Does not work properly in windows Does not do a seperate display only the main display. Display is cut off and only shows the top left corner of main display. Mouse functionality is not present and only scolls pages up and down. Overall broken app, stay away until its fixed. Do not buy this. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Not worth it I tried everything to get it to connect. I went to sever forums and the providers help site. I would return it but i spent an hour and a half trying to find a soultion. I emailed the providrd and will see what they come up with. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Works with usb It's great |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Waste of money and time, and no refund Nice idea, if it worked. Took only fifteen minutes to figure out the magic words to get it to connect (via WiFi only...USB connect does not work at all). Then discovered that every time I moved a window to it, it disconnected. Reconnect, and the window was there. Click maximize, and it disconnected. Reconnct, and the window had been maximized. Clicked on a cell in the spreadsheet I had on iDisplay (Excel 2010). It disconnected. Reconnect, cell is selected. Began to type new value. IDisplay disconnected on first keystroke. Do you see a pattern here? Motorola XYBoard/Xoom2 ICS 4.0.4 stock. Save your money, avoid this product. |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Needs Windows 8 update! Using a Vaio SA290. Doesn't work, just mirrors the desktop. Very promising app. Please update! |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: not working on Windows 8 iDisplay is not working with Windows 8. It just mirrors the top left corner of the main screen. It also doesn't show up as a second display in the display manager. The machine is a mid-range single screen Dell computer running Windows 8 (US), with a mid-range ATI card. It doesn't get more mainstream than that. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Excellent Works perfectly, nice for touch screen interfaces on your PC, or having a little extra space for apps that take up little space. Very nice, though there's a fair bit of latency, even using the USB connection. It would be nice to be able to use Aero and have the possibility of having more than one device connected. It gets confused when 2 or more devices are connected to the PC at once. Windows 7 64 bit and Galaxy Tab. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: WORKS.GREAT! This works flawlessly w/ my HP Touchpsd CM9. THANK U so much. I am a programmer and am happy to now know I can carry around an external monitor w/ me anywhere now! |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Good but... (read on please) 41/2 stars I love this app and it has greatly improved my productivitymas I can easily take it back over as a tablef, I usenthe wifi connection flawlessly, my only snag is text is a little fuzzy on my samsung tablet. I have my laptop set at 1366x768 and my tablet is around 1/3 of the size and text looks a little fuzzy on most web pages and microsoft office pages, but not illegible, I would truly award this 4 and a half stars, well worth £1.30. No doubt the team at iDisplay are on their way to resolving thisnisue anyway. Another fantastic app along these lines is Google chrome, it allows you to pick up your tablet and continue your browsing from your desktop wkth nothing more than a Google login and an internet connection. |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Every time I'm trying to run PC app it keeps crashing my mashine BSOD |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Lack Win support Doesn't work properly with Windows8. Only mirrors and that is only a part of the screen. Mouse is way off with no calibration options. USB does not work at all (Acer A100). |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Only works for some things. First of all, don't expect this to do perfect video. WiFI and USB 2.0 weren't exactly designed to push near HD or HD (720p in my case) video without any problems. This is for low video-bandwidth applications. I decided to try this out and use my tablet as a second screen for social network feeds, but that turned out to be nothing but a pipe dream. It is easy to move my Facebook/MSN/Skype windows over to the tablet screen, but they don't get updated when I scroll. Only when I move the window back to the main desktop, it shows to where i've scrolled and then I have to move it back again. On those lines, even typing into a chat window on the second screen doesn't do anything. Again, it only shows when I drag the window back to the main desktop. Pointless! It gets 3 stars for managing to work with my Mixer window in FL Studio and when I use it as a screen for WinAmp though and it does manage to work with some sites in Chrome (Gmail, Reader, Maps, Calendar, Twitter) albeit a little sluggish, but that's to be expected. WiFi and USB on a Tablet aren't capable of reaching the bandwidth you would get over HDMI or VGA, so I was expecting the latencies. |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Works great with a Mac, especially over USB Easy to set up and so far quite usable, despite some moderate lag over wifi. USB connections are almost indistinguishable from a normal external monitor. I'm surprised at how useful it is to have an extra 7" screen. |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: Crash crash crash Keeps crashing pc everytime I try to connect, and for whatever reason the refund process doesn't work, I should have taken note of the poor reviews - lesson learned ! |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: It...kind of works? Android device: ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 w/ JB 4.1.2 Laptop: HP Pavilion dv7t-6100 Laptop OS: Windows 8 Enterprise x64 Video card(s): ATI Radeon HD 6770M, Intel HD 3000 Monitor arrangement: Dual-monitor in extended desktop mode, 1920x1080 App installs fine on the tablet, app also installs fine on Windows 8. When I go to Display Arrangement on the desktop app, it shows me my two screens (laptop LCD and external Dell monitor LCD) plus my Android device. I can drag my device around as I should and place it where it sits in relation to my other screens, but once I hit Apply, the screens flicker like the app is trying to configure them, but nothing happens in terms of what is displayed on my tablet (it just mirrors the top-left corner of my primary monitor). Windows 8 does not show the third monitor when you go to display configuration through the Control Panel, but it does re-identify my screens as 2,3 (external Dell LCD, primary) and 4 (laptop LCD, secondary) instead of 1 and 2 like they were before enabling this app. This is true for both my ATI Radeon HD 6770M and Intel HD 3000 when I switch back and forth. For $2, I'll keep the app and hope for updates. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Only Mirrored display Pretty disappointed in this app! Purchased it to use my Galaxy Nexus with my notebook (Asus K53TA) running windows 8, but only mirrors my display and only part of it at that. Some of the features like controlling the computer from the phone work, however, if it can only mirror and not truely extend the desktop onto the phone then its not worth it. |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: This is INCREDIBLE! Works perfectly! Installed on my Windows XP Pro machine and my Nexus 7 tablet. Could not be MORE IMPRESSED! To cut down the lag, all I needed to do was disconnect the connection between the devices and set the display compression to "Normal". This is one of the most amazing apps for Android! With this Normal setting, iDisplay only uses about 14% of my computer CPU. I'm going to tell everyone about this app! |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Minst sagt medelmåttig. Hyfsat smidig installation, dock ständiga felmeddelanden. Hur man än trixar så visar den max 50% av datorns skärm. Laggar och lustigt nog är färgerna helt off...:-( Bytte till splashtop och den fungerar klockrent! |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Great utility I am so happy to be able to turn my tablet into a second display at home or on the go. It really works great for me. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Did not work on Windows 8 Only a part of the desktop is mirrored (not as a second display).. I use an AMD card.. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Not Ready For Primetime Slows down both tablet AND computer's native performance drastically. Overall performance too poor for anything other than novelty purposes. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Does exactly what it says Hit some snags initially, but pretty soon I was cruising along with this as a second display. Worth the money 100% heck, I can move a project to this screen and then walk across my office building to my boss and show him the progress live without having to lug the laptop or ask him to stop by. Awesome |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Impressive I am using this on a Nexus 10 and a retina MBP and it works pretty well. Any chance of using the screen in 2x/retina mode? If I select the full resolution, things get very small. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: it does not support google tv it does not support google tv I try to have it work with Logitech Revue but i did not get anything in the market Logitech Revue This item is not compatible with your device. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Does the job iDisplay does what it says it'll do. Used my Nexus as a side display for my Mac book. My only complaint is that it changed the resolution of my laptop, causing icons to be shifted as well. Fix this issue and it'll be great. I'd also like to see Google TV support. That way I could use my TV as a wireless, second display for my laptop. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Unthinkably poor application Laggy, buggy, freezy and in general not working (not displaying computer screen on my Android phone). In one word - complete junk. (Win 8 Pro 64 bit, Android 4.0). PS. Just crashed my PC, I want my money back! |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Useless At least on Windows 8 which it claims to support, the screen is duplicated no matter what - you can't get it to act as an extension of the desktop. I see other reviewers have supported the same problem. Spent $5 and it's useless. I tried it through both wifi and USB. The actual connection works but it's useless just as (cropped) mirror of the desktop. UPDATE (Dec 25, 2012): Latest Windows driver (2.30.13) STILL has this problem - iDisplay server still crashes on startup (like another review I have Intel HD4000 graphics which is a very common video chip) and then it just shows a mirrored display instead of a desktop extension. |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Rocks for me - Windows 7, even in Remote Desktop Check dates on reviews. Some shortcomings in older reviews appear to be addressed. I am using this at home on a Win7 notebooke to control a Server 2008R2 machine at work. Win7 and later supports multiple monitors in RDP, but it pretty much has to be a "real" monitor that Windows extends onto. iDisplay plays the game well enough to count as a real display. Note that I am not using it for touch input and that I am using Win 7. I am using it make my Lenovo 9" tablet into a second monitor at 1280x782 resolution. It works perfectly in this setup, so I am giving it 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Works for me Kinda light in the dark. Some speed issues, but nowhere significant. ASUS TF700T JB. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: BSOD FIXED! Great customer support. The app works perfectly as described. Not good for video playback (yet) which I don't really care. I use a secondary screen for developing purpose. A little less laggy and a little more stable, It's 5 stars. And I can see more improvements coming. If you need a secondary monitor, especially for work, buy this! |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Great value, some small/moderate issues I was able to get this to work successfully with both my desktop and laptop connected to my Acer A500 running Android 4.0.3. Both computers are running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The desktop installation went flawlessly but the laptop would encounter a blue screen of death and later a black screen requiring reboots during the iDisplay configuration step. I solved this by performing the configuration in Windows Safe Mode. I suspect that it may be because I have both an nvidia 540M and Intel HD 3000 graphics configuration and the light indicated switching between the two repeatedly just before the BSOD. After installation everything worked as expected. Performance is on par with VNC but I was able to watch youtube videos smoothly as a test. Unfortunately, I don't know how often I will use this because it pegs one of my processor cores during use. My desktop (Core2Quad @ 3.0GHz) now idles between 35% and 60% usage, but my i7 laptop remains under 10%. Overall, I'm very pleased for the price and I look forward to updates. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Useless on Windows 8 Claims to support Windows 8 but don't believe it, by the time I figured out the same crap application just wasn't going to work, I had already missed the refund window. All you'll end up with on Windows 8 is a super slow, cropped section of your monitor mirrored to your device, and your PC will run like something from the 90s as an added bonus. Don't waste your money on this now if you run Windows 8, it doesn't work, I hope they fix it eventually. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: crashes Windows 7 After installed the Windows portion of iDisplay, it asked me to test the display. When testing it, it promptly caused my laptop's Intel HD 4000 graphics to crash. While I do believe Intel is responsible for the crash (their driver should be more resilient), iDisplay was the thing which stared the crash. I suggest the iDisplay include a broader set of testing on Intel HD 4000 laptops with Optimus. |
[2012-12-25] A Google User: Good for desktops!! I've just got this on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. The connection between the desktop and the tablet is really fast (our wifi is very close, near to the desktop, and strong). The only real issue is the lag when watching videos. I think for if wanting/needing another monitor I think this is for you, if your wanting to use iDisplay to hold a still image (or something that is still), otherwise wacthing videos on iDisplay is hopeless. Hope this helps. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Disappointing performance Once I managed to get it working (windows app crashed and auto detect did not work) was disappointed with the performance. Laggy |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Great idea but very buggy This app has great potential and I have no doubt that it will eventually be realized but at the moment it is full of bugs, the user interface is only capable of basic left clicks and dragging and something as useful as the S Pen on the note 10.1 is not being used at all (where all browsers out there support the functionality and it would bring this app to a whole new level) I will update my review as features increase and bugs get fixed but for now this app feels rather alpha-ish. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Crashes my PC every time I try to start it. I bought this app on sale thinking it would be great to use on my TF201 and my Alienware laptop since I use 2 monitors at home. The the installation of the desktop client was straightforward enough and on the first start up the client asked me for it to scan my hardware and that it wanted to configure itself so of course I hit ok and immediately got a BSOD. Restarted and tried again, just a black screen for 6 minutes. I can't get the program to run without crashing my PC, everything is updated and I'm running Windows 7 and I still can't get any of this to work. Worst part is I missed my chance to get a refund because I was away from PC at the time. I may only $2, but it's $2 that went to apparently a buggy program. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Poor responsiveness Very little tech support via how to's or similar. I cant seem to get the app to perform a single click. Other seemingly simple functions work ok . This would be a great app if they get the bugs worked out. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Terrible product First off I am on a Mac with Mountain Lion and the idisplay server is crap. My devices cannot find my computer and they will not work if I enter the information manually. There is no way to get in contact with the developer that I have found nor can I get a refund. Do NOT purchase this. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Funguje téměř bez problémů Nevím jak u ostatních(zakoupil jsem aplikaci díky vánoční akci), ale mě funguje naprosto skvěle, dokonce lze jít tak daleko, že člověk může mít android zařízení nastavený jako primární monitor TZN. v dosahu wifi (či u veřejné IP kdekoliv) můžete mít svůj PC v mobilu - osobně mi to přijde lepší než nejaké sdílené plochy apod. Jinak dva monitory + idisplay mi nefungují, ale to už není takový problém :-) Už se těším, až pořídím tablet s lepším rozlišením :-) |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Does its job Not super fast but still good enough to watch video. I use it as a secondary display when editing documents. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Works great on TF101 Worked perfectly 1st time and much better than i expected from the reviews. Response times seems impressive using wifi, it just works perfectly for what i require. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Worked on Windows 7 - Not on 8 yet This app worked reasonably well under windows 7, but it only duplicates the top left part of the screen on Windows 8. Hopefully this is resolved soon. |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Pretty good so far. N7 and mountain lion |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: easy to use easy to use between pc and android |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Really Handy Very happy with this. I can now use my Galaxy Tab 10.1 as a touch control surface for the video switching software Vidblaster. |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Works with Windows 7 This app is better than Air Display imo, i bought it hoping it would work with Windows 8, but luckily i dual booted with Windows 7. Please fix the issue with windows 8 as it just mirrors the screen instead of extending it. Works great with Windows 7, the lag is over exaggerated. |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: causes nvidia drivers to fail on win |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Just what I was looking for! I use a netbook on windows 7. I always have 2 monitors when I work. On the road, I still need a second monitor to aide in checking data. I was looking into a tablet for this sole purpose only. For $5 this works for me. I did see the bsod, but uninstalled on the pc- seems to be working now. Be sure to turn off "display pointer trails" in the mouse control panel, otherwise you will not see the mouse. Use a standard theme not Aero. Lag was actually not that noticeable. Only 4 stars because of stability. |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Just what I needed Shame my tablet graphics are a bit slow but the app in itself works wonderfully to leave ref documents open while working on my laptop! |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: useful app This is a great feature, I installed it yesterday on windows pc and android tablet and it works fine. it's a bit on the slow side, which makes the screen useful only for observation and not manipulation.. but that for me is allready an improvement to my workflow.. it would be nice if it would be quicker though. |

[2012-12-05] A Google User: Works about 50% of the time I get USB working then after an unplug and replug it won't connect again, sometimes the Wi-Fi won't connect, I wonder if it's todo more with the windows drivers than the android app, something somewhere is jamming up |

[2012-12-04] A Google User: Amazing This app changed my life. As a mobile designer, this has become an indispensable tool for me. Excellent job guys. I love you. |

[2012-12-01] A Google User: Great Idea, not ready yet. Edit: After a 2nd re install the positioning problem and the leftover image problem is gone, but it is very sluggish on wi fi, and on usb. It does work, but not at the level I expected. upping to 3 stars from 2. (original review follows) ---------------------------------------- I'll hold on to this, but it doesn't work right yet. It doesn't position itself correctly when you set the location for use as a secondary display, and parts of the original screen remain on the secondary. I do think that it will get fixed, but I won't recommend it to anyone yet. Nexus 7 and Alienware m17 r3 with windows 8 |

[2012-11-28] A Google User: Idisplay Installed both Idisplay and Air display. Both are almost identical to each other. Great idea and potential but too much lag for practical use. |

[2012-11-28] A Google User: Not working on my SGS2 I do have a modded rom, but I'm not able to view anything except graphical artifacts on my SGS2. would be nice with metro Support |

[2012-11-26] A Google User: USB doesn't work Doesn't work at all.. |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: Works Well with Windows 7 The only complaint that I have is that it disables Windows Aero, but I am trying to find a way around that. I think I will eventually. I am using it with a rooted Nook Color via usb connection. Thanks for the app. |

[2012-11-23] A Google User: No connection at all Running Windows 8 pro 64 and Asus transformer infinity. Had some expectation since the vendor clearly states that it supports windows 8. But I can't connect with either USB(prefered) or WIFI. I get no way to accept the connection on my laptop. I did follow the guide on shapes site. They are no help at all. Really sorry I spend more than the 15 minutes refund period on google play. Google should extend this period a little to allow users time to try to make apps like this work? |

[2012-11-23] A Google User: Good idea Little slow but usable |

[2012-11-23] A Google User: Not Working This is not working for me because it is just showing what is on my screen. Please help. |

[2012-11-23] A Google User: Great!!!!! Great application works perfectly on mountain loin |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: like, but could use little tweaks Excellent and easy interface, integration smooth, works well with Windows 8 x64 as well as Windows 7 x86. Quality of screen and ease of manipulation excellent, especially over WiFi using ASUS Transformer TF101. Would love to see Linux port. As well, knowing that there is a performance degradation, I would like to be able to define what screen resolution the device has, considering Windows 8 doesn't play well with trying to use Metro on the tablet, citing low resolution. Overall, worth the $5. Excellent work! |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Windows 8 64Bit + Nexus 7 It works by only showing part of my main screen, aka the top left corner, and only filling about 1/2 the tablet screen. Quite pointless considering I paid for it. It used to work before in windows 7 but was really slow. |

[2012-11-17] A Google User: Low fps Need more improvement about fps |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: USB connection does not work since update to android 4.2 usb connection does not work anymore |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: So angry ! WIN8 64BIT + asus transformer. it works over wifi except all it does is duplicate part of my desktop, thats it ! Can't drag stuff to tablet screen, can't control my pc using tablet either... the main reason i bought it. Tried all the screen settings , no luck. So basically paid for an app that just shows me a bit of my main monitor...plus missed my chance to get refund too cos spent 15mins setting it all up. Avoid |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Amazing app! This app is amazing, use it as my second, remote monitor all the time, performance is great, no crashes, last update bring great performance and fast speed |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: ↓ Does NOT work via USB. Even after reading troubleshooting guid, which was not easy to find. Don't expect any accelerated graphics will work with it. Even 2d, like firefox rendering engine. Wi-Fi is very, very laggy. Usable only with static info. Also, Windows client uses infamous Bonjour. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Working okay I using this app with my first generation ASUS eeePad Transformer. The connection when working is surprisingly good over WiFi. There is minimal lag and it is entirely usable as a screen for mostly static content (e.g., e-mail, calendar, having an open reference document, etc.) However, when connected over USB, the lag is surprisingly much worse - effectively unusable as a productivity tool. This is a shame as connection over USB would simplify a semi-permanent setup (the USB cable provides both the connection and power). The connection software itself lacks reliability. At times, when connecting (over WiFi or USB), the software will refuse the connection. Retrying once or twice will usually lead to initiation of the connection. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Works but It needs to be tweeked. Lags terribly and display settings are different. Has potential |
