[2011-12-04] Kyle: Galaxy S2 FIX Thank you so much Brandon, your suggesting to switch the language back and forth was great. Worked like a charm. So sad, to me this should be an easy fix from Google or Samsung. But so far, they just blame each other. "Not our issue, must be there's". But neither really looked into the issue. Sad, this is main reason I paid for Google Domain, and I PAY for this service that they did not seem to want to fix. I opened ticket with them. They answered it within 1 hour, and just blamed Samsung with no time spend looking into issue. They just said "From the Google forums, looks like Samsung issue" Funny, you ask Samsung and tell them about forums, they say, you can not trust forums. Anyway, thanks Brandon. |
[2011-12-03] Brandon: Found fix for Galaxy S2 FOUND FIX: Enter password in Device Policy. When stuck at OK button, back out of app, go to phone language settings and change phone to spanish. Go back to Device Policy, click ok. Now it will sync and work. Return to language setting and return phone to English. |
[2011-11-29] Wesam: Not fully compatible with Droid Razr Won't work on Droid Razr Application doesn't have encryption on Droid Razr so this is useless and so cannot have access to emails per Google's policy. |
[2011-11-29] John: Very good. Motorola Atrix 4g |
[2011-11-24] Oscar: Fix for GSII 4G Touch I found a fix for sync issue! before adding you're account, change the language setting to spanish. add acct, enforce policy and revert back 2 Eng. |
[2011-11-23] Tracey: Great! Google apps business account. Woks great! |
[2011-11-23] Lee: Link with Google Apps account!! Otherwise it's useless to you. To remove, you have to disable it as a "Device Administrator" which is found in Settings - Location & Security. Why rate 1* when you don't have a clue? |
[2011-11-23] Dan: Needs update Doesn't work on galaxy S2, please create an update to fix. |

[2011-11-17] Andy: working after update via ODIN. me seems to work after used ODIN from xda forums to upgrade to 2.3.4 |
[2011-11-16] Brian: Ignore 1 star reviews Ignore 1 star reviews that are basically complaining about a round peg not fitting in a square hole. This is for GoogleApps, so complaining that your GMail account doesn't show isn't a problem. This is security software, so complaining that it isn't easy to uninstall isn't a problem; if it was easy to uninstall, that'd be a problem. Works without a hitch on company phones - AT&T HTC Inspire 4G |
[2011-11-15] Nathan: Working for Galaxy S2 now |
[2011-11-15] John: New version rocks! No more issues. |

[2011-11-07] Rishabh: Doesnt works properly and is Very buggy!! |
[2011-10-31] Ralf: Useful features, but very buggy The features are great for an enterprise environment. Locating phone, remote wipe and password policies are all very useful. However, I found it very buggy on my Samsung Gio (version 2.01, 31/10/2011). First, the signup process gave a "network error" when the issue was something completely different. Second, since installing it, my phone's screen is unable to turn on after a night's sleep, until I restart the phone. Issue is fixed after uninstalling. |
[2011-10-27] Miaojian: After install this app, my phone crashed 3 times so far... |
[2011-10-27] Seb: Does the job This works well for my needs (work and personal domains). I'd like extra features such as enterprise certificate management. |

[2011-10-05] Adéwale: To uninstall Location and security > uncheck this app as device admin > then uninstall. There is nothing wrong with this app. |
[2011-10-05] Ravikant: Does not work on Samsung GalaxyS2 Nothing happens after account selection. |

[2011-09-22] Chandrakant: Not showing SGS2 Account in the list While first config.....it is not showing my existing gmail account in the list. When clicking next to Login....it shows that account already exists......what's going on. I think this app needs a better policy of behaving properly ;) |
[2011-09-21] Suresh Hoskote: I am unable to uninstall on my device. Will google administrator will control the device? |

[2011-09-13] Chris: Works perfectly People need to understand this isn't a personal app, but rather a useful tool for administrators. |
[2011-09-11] Christine: Why? Now that this is on my phone I can't access my work email. |
[2011-09-09] David Reist: Move to SD! |

[2011-08-12] Nicole: GoogleApps paid version only This app is for the paid version of Google apps only, works great! Though they should built it in. Ignore the comments by people trying to use w/free |

[2011-07-25] Rob: Now also for Galaxy S2! The app itself does not do much, but it allows me to use the corporate apps, which is great! |
[2011-07-22] tracy: Just wish you weren't forced to have a pin, that gets old. Otherwise very happy with it. |

[2011-07-18] 7AMOD: . Nice |
[2011-07-07] the 7/9/2011 : Not worth installing, unable to uninstall easily!! |
[2011-07-02] thehighhat: Good, but has major flaw related to power buttons! Using with a Google Apps for Business / Enterprisee account. On phone (Nexus One, Gingerbread), if a wipe / reset on bad password is starting, powering off immediately will cancel the operation! On tablets (Galaxy Tab 10, Honeycomb), if a reset on bad password is initiatedted, a dialog box opens that asks the user to press OK to begin the wipe. Powering off instead of selecting OK allows more attempts at password entry. These issues help make it easier for an adversary to defeat the security mechanism! |
[2011-06-28] Larry: It does not cause and issues on my Droid X. I hate having Big Brother watching me, but it is his phone. !!! It is suppose to Uninstall. |
[2011-06-28] Steven: Doesn't work on Galaxy S2 The apps just stalls when selecting the Google Account to sync with. This app is clearly not compatible with my device despite the statement on this site. This is a massive problem as our Google Apps domain is configured with Restricted Google Sync access. I've filed support calls with Google on this and they refuse to accept responsibility. It's pathetic from an organisation that's purports to want to "take the enterprise" that they won't respond to requests for information. Very unimpressed so far. |
[2011-06-27] Samarth: Like all others ..won't work on my Samsung galaxy s 2 ...its really a good app ..need it kindly do something about it please .. |
[2011-06-26] bin: Can't uninstall in my Nexus 1. |
[2011-06-22] Reco: Still on my phone and won't uninstall! HTC EVO. |
[2011-06-11] Icereignblack: Won't have a negative rating because it is not made for regular use. Must have a business, education or government account with google to use. |
[2011-06-11] Will: Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S2. Be aware. |
[2011-06-09] firetech: Not for free Google Apps. :( iPhone has free locating of device. I'm glad I have a lifetime subscription of WaveSecure... |
[2011-05-31] Sam: Works OK The remote wipe worked great on an old ipod setup with exchange. On my Nexus S 4G (2.3.4) the lock functionality doesn't work, and the ring functionally also doesn't always work (maybe 3/5 tests). I can't easily try wiping my phone, but based on the other 2 features not working perfectly I'm a little worried if the wipe would work on my phone. Considering the Nexus is stock android, I imagine other phones with Sense or TouchWiz would only be less likely to work smoothly. |
[2011-05-27] rp_guy: Should allow more features for device users, not just admins |
[2011-05-22] Rodney: This app shut me down and had to get a non android phone to get back in the game...maybe I can try android in the future. |

[2011-04-13] Andrew: Apparently not including a changelog is the new including a changelog at Google. |
[2011-04-13] Jonas: Not free for google apps. :( |
[2011-04-13] Joe: Only complaint, and its a big one, is that there is no explanation for the latest update. Give detail log or die... right? |
[2011-04-12] Blom: Requires Google Apps for Business? Fail... |
[2011-04-12] Matthew: Not compatible with Wildfire. You cannot press 'next' during it'd setup wizard as THE BUTTON IS OFF SCREEN! Wildfire must be too low res. It's crazy. |
[2011-04-11] Darjan: Can't uninstall... |
[2011-04-11] Richard: Doesn't support free Google Apps accounts, which is thoroughly disappointing. |
