NotifierPro greatly improves the way your device displays notifications.

With NotifierPro ( Notifier Pro ) you can greatly improve the way your device displays notifications.
This app provides banner notifications for any app installed on your phone.

The service :
* To work properly, NotifierPro requires that you activate the accessibility service "NotifierPro" (accessibility services are currently the only way to process user notifications on the Android OS).
* You then have to use the "Monitoring" section to choose which apps should raise notifications, and how.
* Status bar notifications must be enabled in the monitored apps for the banners to appear properly.

How to use it :
* Click the notification to launch it
* Swipe to the right to dismiss it
* Swipe to the left to dismiss notifications coming from the same app/contact

Important information :
* Note that dismissing the notification won’t remove it from the status bar (the Android OS doesn’t currently allow to manually remove 3rd party apps notifications from the status bar).
* If you use a custom lockscreen app such as MagicLocker or WidgetLocker, or if you use the stock Android 4 lockscreen, banners will show above your lockscreen.
* As a default, notifications will be enabled for SMS, MMS, missed calls, GMail, Talk, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, etc...
* NotifierPro will notify you even if you're in a fullscreen app

This app provides a count "up" timer to track the number of days that have passed after an item/event start date.

E.g in your work-place you could be juggling multiple projects concurrently and they all kick off on different dates. You can use this app at any time to find how many days have passed (include today) since that project start date.

E.g for women, you can use this app to keep track of how many days have passed (include today) since your last period.

E.g for mother, you can use this app to keep track of how many days have passed (include today) since your kid last poo-ed.

E.g for couples, you can use this app to keep track of trivial events like how many days have passed (include today) since you two last saw a movie in theaters, last eat at this posh restaurant etc.

There are many other use cases. As long as you want to keep track of how many days have passed (include today) since that item/event start date, this app fill that need.

To configure, tap New Item, enter an item description and a start date and Save. To search, tap Search to search all or key in a partial item description to do some simple filtering. To edit/delete items, you can tap and hold on those entries in the result screen and a pop-up window appear. Tap Delete All to delete all.

The application support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese display.

CardDAV-Sync free beta (v. 0.3.1)

CardDAV-Sync is a CardDAV client for Android to synchronize contacts. Due to its implementation as sync adapter it integrates seamlessly with the default contacts app.
(Also check out CalDAV-Sync beta)

Important Note: SOGo 1.3.11 on Ubuntu 11.10 seems to be broken. If you're using Ubuntu 11.10 you should stick to SOGo 1.3.10. I'm working on a workaround.

@David: the feature you want is part of "Contact Editor Pro", it's not in the free edition of Contact Editor.

Please, if you find a bug send me an email. Without detailed error description I often can't do anything especially when I can't reproduce it. It's also possible that your server has a bug that CardDAV-Sync can not (yet) tolerate or work around. If you report bugs I can fix them quickly and everyone will benefit.

Also check out the paid version CardDAV-Sync beta. It syncs some additional fields. For details see my website.

Please uninstall the free version before you install the paid one (and vice versa).

After the installation got to "Settings" > "Accounts & Sync" and create a new Account.

Please enable background data if you want to sync via 3G.

Important! If your phone removes the accounts on reboot, move the App back from SD card to the phone. Some phones (if not all) can't handle sync adapters on SD Card properly.

For users who are unable to edit or create synced contacts I published an editor at the market. Just search for "dmfs contact editor" or see my website.

Features:

* Sync contacts from a CardDAV-server (tested and reported to work with DAViCal, SOGo, egroupware, Zimbra, david.fx, Yahoo, ownCloud ... and more see my website for details)

* basic support for self-signed certificates

* two-way-sync (please, don't forget to backup your contacts before you use this! It is still beta!)

* syncs names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, photos and birthdays (but please visit "date formats" on my website first)

* automatic address book detection (works with most servers in default configuration)

It is still under development and some important features may be missing. Known limitations are:

* organizations, notes and websites are not synced by the free version

* Contact lists are not yet supported

* only "server wins" and "phone wins" (default) conflict resolution available (that is when a contact is updated on server and on phone between two syncs)

* custom labels are not preserved (actually, this is a vcard limitation)

* and maybe more

Please report bugs. Feedback is very welcome.

Btw: just writing a comment like "Doesn't work on..." won't help neither you nor me to get it running on your device. Please contact me if you have problems.

known bugs:

* crashes if phone orientation is changed during setup

* it may not sync if the contact collection on the server contains vcards which are not well formated (it is quite tolerant yet, but certain, very rare, format errors still will prevent a successful sync operation)

* @david.fx users: david.fx returns all links to contacts from sub-folders. Currently this leads to the situation that some contacts may appear multiple times (joined to one contact)
