The Power Scheduler is an app designed for the Android OS. This app will allow you to manage and schedule when features such as Wi-Fi, Data (EDGE), Bluetooth, and Airplane Mode will Turn ON/OFF. You will also be able to schedule the brightness on your phone. For example, you might want to set your brightness to 10% at night and 70% during the day. This app will do that for you automatically and will save your battery life.

Changed the label "Data (EDGE)" to "Data (APN)" to more accurately
reflect what is actually happening. There has been some confusion from
users (see most recent review) as to what this feature is actually
doing. The app is actually not altering EDGE, 3G, or 4G settings. Due
to android limitations, the app cannot (programmatically) turn off
Data in the same way a user would so instead it disables your Access
Point Name (APN) connection information (i.e. the phones Data Network
login information for your carrier). This removes your carriers data
network and has the effect of disabling data (including the battery
savings), however, data has not strictly been disabled (only your APN
settings have been). Therefore, if you disable data with this app,
manually re-enabling data outside the app using the OS Mobile Network
settings will not work as expected. If data has been disabled with
this app, the best way to re-enable data is to use the apps manual
Data switch or Data schedule.

Contact Editor Free (v. 0.6.2.1)

This is the contact editor (and only the editor) from the Android 2.1 sources.
I just fixed it to make it work with arbitrary contact sources (like CardDAV-Sync) and removed the dependencies on the internal API to make it work with Android 2.2 and later.
So all credits go to Google.

After installing this app you won't see any launcher icon in your app list. It will be started whenever you try to edit or create a contact (and you select "Contact Editor Free").

If you can edit all your contacts you may not have any benefits from this app. It is useful if you use some custom Sync-Adapter that does not feature its own editor (like CardDav-Sync) and your editor can not edit those contacts.
However some people reported it is useful if your phone's manufacturer removed the ability to edit custom labels.

This app can not edit or remove contacts from read-only sources like Facebook or Cloudtact! This is due to the definition of read-only!
Also, if you see a blank screen when editing contacts that are aggregated with a Facebook contact, try to remove and recreate your Facebook account. Note regarding Events:
There is a big problem with events in this editor (better: with Android). The Android SDK documentation states about the database column for the date: 'The event start date as the user entered it.'  Unfortunately does every manufacturer have it's own opinion about the format. Some are happy with 'yyyy-mm-dd', my phone uses unix timestamps.
So if your phone doesn't accept the 'yyyy-mm-dd' format try entering a unix-timestamp ;-). Seriously, I think about removing this feature until I've found a proper solution. You can help by sending me mails with your phone model, os version and which formats work or don't work for you.

Btw: just writing a comment like "Doesn't work on..." won't help neither you nor me to get it running on your device. Please contact me if you have problems.

Please report bugs by sending me a mail stating what happened and what you did before it happened. Often the Market bug reports are not very helpful without additional informations.

known issues:

* on some devices this app hangs when it is opened. If this happens to you, please send me an email!
* crashes in some very rare cases. I've no further information about those cases and I'm not able to reproduce them. Please send me an email with your phone model, your OS version and what kind of sync-adapters you have installed. Thanks!

Note: You are not required to use sync at all, it is an opt-in feature for those that find it useful. You can use the program without that.

The original Package Tracking program returns to the market with its aptly named predecessor completely redesigned for your benefit.

The idea has remained the same, all information no fluff, and the user interface has been streamlined to allow for faster tracking of multiple packages. Simply select your previous packages right from the home screen or tap the plus button to add a new one. When you track a number your shipment information is displayed in an easy to read, unified format.

The smart update service has returned, running only at the intervals selected and shutting down after checks have been completed. No need to uselessly waste batter, your phone is an important device in your life.

It is not always easy to enter numbers on your phone, even in a streamlined interface like this and that is why I have built http://www.package-tracking.info. This web-extension of Package Tracking will allow you to manage the numbers on your Android powered devices from your computer, adding, editing, and deleting numbers as well. No need to make a QR code that you then scan on your phone, simply add the numbers from your desktop and leave your phone in your pocket. The only restriction of this feature is that it requires Android 2.2 or higher to be running on your device, but I am working on bringing it to 2.1 and lower sometime in the future.

Some replies I believe are needed:
-Sure there is only 11 carriers, but even when I had 19 only 8 of them were used enough to warrant having them. I will happily more if you can supply shipment numbers to build scripts with.
-Notifications are only as fast as the carriers, what you see is exactly what you will see on the carriers website. I am working on a prediction algorithm but it will take some time.
