Another HVAC / Efficiency tool!  Trying to figure out how to compare the costs of heating your home or business with various fuels?  Our comparison calculator can help.

It's easy:
1.) Enter the current prices for the fuels you wish to compare.
2.) Select the tab of the fuel you currently use.
3.) Press the Calculate button to see costs of alternative fuels in comparison to your selected fuel.  The lowest cost fuel is the "most bang for your buck".  Calculations are for BTU ratings in comparison.

NOTE: This free app is intended only for general comparisons and the developer takes no responsibility for any erroneous calculations. These totals are estimated and do not take into account the efficiency of the device delivering the heat.

Always forgetting to clean the fish tank?  Need a little nudge to get to the gym?  This application provides a simple interface to remember all of your repeating periodic activities.  

Let's say you want to clean the fish tank once a month.  You could put a repeating event on your calendar for the first of every month.  The problem is that at some point you are going to be busy and then remember a week or so later.  Now, your calendar event is two weeks off and you have to delete it and create a new one.

With this application, you enter your activities and how frequently you need to perform them.  The simple, easy to understand interface tracks all of your activities and highlights which ones are due.  The application lists all of your activities in the order in which they are next due.  The icon indicates whether they are overdue or not.

This version limits the number of activities to five.  The full version has unlimited activities.  It also adds notifications to let you know before and after your activity is due and has integration with the backup service.

Modernize windstorm mitigation inspection and record keeping and generate professional looking reports for your clients.

Collect Data on Your Android Device. The Android app is free to download but registration at www.aridhio.com is required to submit data and generate reports.

Currently, Florida’s 2010 Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form is supported. Signatures can be captured using a capacitive resistance stylus (designed for touch screens) or your finger. Photos can be collected and annotated using your, finger, a stylus or you can key-in text onto the image.

Signup for a 30-day free trial  at www.aridhio.com. Follow links to Windstorm Inspection. Select Web Management Login/Register You will be prompted for an email to use as your login ID.

Configure the settings on the Android app. From the Android apps’ main window, select “Configure Settings”. These settings are used to authenticate with the web-server when uploading inspection data. It is important that the email and password on the website match the email and password that you use in the Android app.

To perform inspections, from the Android apps’ main window select “New Inspection”. From here you will be given options to move around to the different areas that correspond to Florida’s 2010 Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form

Customer signature, inspector signature and inspector initials are captured on your Android device. A capacitive resistance stylus is highly recommended but your finger will work too.

Photos can be taken from when the app, annotated and included in the generated report. Markings and text can also be embedded in the photo by selecting “Markup This Picture”

Draw on the photo by selecting an ink color and using either your finger or a stylus.
To add text to the photo,
1. Select “Add a Note.”
2. Type your note.
3. Touch the screen where you want to place the note.

When you are ready to upload an inspection, be sure to complete all of the fields and end the inspection.From the Android apps’ main window select “Manage Inspections”. Press and hold the inspection you want to upload, then select “Upload this entry”

Generate Reports and Manage Inspection Data at www.aridhio.com. Once inspection results have been uploaded, you will see a summary of all submitted inspections when you login at the web page.

For each inspection, you can generate a report or manage the photos that will be included in the report. Generating a professional looking report for your clients is a single click on the web page.

The generated report includes a cover page, the OIR-B1-1802 (Rev. 02/10) form with signatures and all uploaded photos.

Note that currently only the 2010 Florida windstorm mitigation inspection form is supported.

A simple app to open a Port Forward session if you have access to a Linux gateway and want to access an internal network port.  This is the equivalent of using ssh -L 127.0.0.1:<your_local_port>:<some_internal_host>:<internal_port> your_username@your_linux_gateway.com.   This will open a socket that is available for use by the Android Operating system.  The added functionality here is the ability to save and restart sessions without having to use a terminal emulator.

an Example of how to Use:



Local Port: 9999  (this is the port on your android device)

Gateway Host:  some_linux_gateway.com (linux machine with internet interface)

Username: your username for gateway.

Password: your password for the above gateway

Remote Host Name:  name of the remote host you want to forward to.

Port Number:  number of port you which to connect to.  ex. 80 for http.
