Its functionality is accessed within FX: you will see two new categories appear on the FX homescreen: "Internet and Network" and "Media" (as shown in the first screenshot). Media Capabilities:
* Browse image and video collections
* Browse audio by artist, album, playlist, or view all tracks
* Rearrange playlists with drag and drop (multiple files can be rearranged by selecting them)
Network / Cloud Capabilities:
* Windows networking (SMB)
* FTP (including secure FTP-S and FTP-ES)
* SSH FTP (Secure Shell FTP)
* Cloud Storage: Google Drive (incl. Google Docs), Dropbox, SugarSync, Box (Box.net), and SkyDrive (SkyDrive requires Android 2.2 or later)
* Stream video and audio media files from SMB, FTP, SSH, Google Drive, Dropbox, SugarSync, Box, and SkyDrive to media player applications
* Browse the local network for Windows (SMB) shares
* Find FTP and SSH FTP local network shares using multicast DNS (mDNS) service discovery (Bonjour/Zeroconf/Avahi)
* Encrypted keyring (used to avoid entering sensitive passwords in public while not allowing access in event of device theft)
* Download and convert Google Drive / Google Docs files into Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, PDF, and other formats
Bluetooth Capabilities:
* Send files via OBEX Push (also available on most devices in free version)
* OBEX Push server for receiving files (optional, most devices natively provide this service)
* OBEX Push client and server can use WiFi for high-speed transfers when both are connected to same network

[2013-01-12] A Google User: GREAT APP ! ! ! I'm a developer and I prefer this file manager over most out there. I have a couple of questions, but I am going to EMAIL THE DEVELOPER like all of you should (that cry and post complaints in the review section). This developer WILL respond to your emails. I know from experience. So if you have a question or a negative comment, EMAIL the developer first. Give him a week to reply, then post your review. I was able to uninstall dropbox, box, Google drive and skydrive and use this one convenient app. As a bonus I can connect to my PC and my FTP server. This app hands down is my favorite and most used app of 2012. Thank you very very much. |

[2012-12-09] A Google User: Hold lot of promise. I have bought all the applications developed by NextApp. They are so good. However one major weakness which needs urgent attention of the developer is the limited native support to various file types. Unlike many other competing file managers it doesn't have built in viewers for many types of Image files nor it can play audio or video files. |

[2012-12-04] A Google User: SFTP Key With Broken Bought to use for sftp on servers with key based authentication. Have never found a way to get it working. Emailed developer and have never heard back, rather disappointing to purchase an upgrade for a single listed feature only to find out it is broken. |
