Two widget options:

- Small widget: Create new text, snapshot and audio notes, and jump to the search screen.
- Large widget: Same as the small widget, plus snippets of recently viewed notes.

How to install:
Once you install this app, tap and hold on the home screen, then select your preferred widget from the popup.

The only note-taking app you'll ever need **NOTE: speech-to-text does NOT work on the Nexus 7** Great app with a great widget (dl separately). You can add attachments, audio, photos, geotagging, etc to any note. When you take notes, you have the option of adding bullet points, numerical bullet points, or checklist buttons. You can also make text underlined, italicized, or bold. Other than that, formatting is pretty primitive (no line breaks, etc). Because it automatically syncs to your account, you can access your notes from any device, any time. GENIUS, multi-functional app! Though I really wish the speech-to-text worked.

Checklist is unusable The checklist has no formatting in the widget so all items are lumped together on a single line (this is for the 4x2 widget size). Checklists are the main reason I use Evernote so the fact that they are not really supported by this widget is disappointing.

Very user friendly The notes are way to manipulate. If you need to transfer then from you're phone just download it to your PC and it does it automatically.

Won't sync with my Nexus 7! I love this app and it works great on my HTC OneX and online: syncs like a dream between them. But just bought a nexus 7 (32gb) but keep coming up with a 'failed to sync' error! Why???!

Used to be good There is no menu option on my HTC one. I can't change font size, screen brightness, or even log out. This is a big problem because I have a toddler who could buy books with a few clicks.

If you want are willing to spend the $ The free version is terrible. I've lost voice recordings from meetings for no reason. I've learned to use google voicer recorder from now on. Aside from the voice recordings issue, everything else works fine.

Excelent app I've installed this app both my phone and my PC. In my PC, I put all my note, information... to this cloud and got it everywhere with my phone. It's the best app I've ever had.

It is a widget After a day I'll forget what app the widget is for. There are no identifying marks other than the color. Could have placed an E on it. It's about as ugly and stupid and lame as it gets.

Almost perfect! Really happy with this, use it on Android phone and Windows 8 metro app, neatly synced. Weird thing about the widget: in settings I can select to hide buttons from the widget, but seems the setting doesn't save, it always shows the buttons in the widget view on my home screen.

Excellent app! K-9 Mail improves on the built-in HTC mail app if for no other reason than the fact that it's automatically push-enabled - that, by itself, is a winner for me. It's also a lot easier to use than the Gmail app, as I find Gmail impossible to get my head around, from its generally messy layout to the difficulty involved in doing something as simple as moving items into separate folders. K-9 Mail also has full account colour customisation and a plethora of other options. Works flawlessly. Excellent app.

Crap. Crap, saves you one click. Can't even shortcut notes. Only quick make new ones. I don't get the thought process behind these widgets. Seriously unless. They need to make a widget where you can see part of the note in a 2x2. Title of the note and part of the beginning of the body of the note. I've been using other note apps because there widgets have this function.

Line spacing Hello, please add a feature request to your backlog: the widget should preserve line spacing. Currently the widget displays notes as great big run on sentences; these are not easy to read at a quick glance and force me to open the evernote client directly. Having line breaks preserved would make the notes more readable and the widget more useful for quickly referring to notes. Also, even if the widget is resized, text stops at a certain point, everything gets cut off after that point.

Meh. New grid is so so. If i wanted big single icons i would just add multiple single icons. Spacing is wider then normal icons if your running anything with non standard row sizes so you get 4 buttons in a row instead of 6. Can't resize. Can't theme. Sticking with 4x1 old style.

My favorite app I absolutely love this app! It has boxes for to do lists, great bulleting, easy to use, easy to share, you can even take pictures/voicenotes to save to notes, search notes and categorize notes to notebooks! Awesome and gets better all the time!!!!!!!

Great BUT... I installed the widget first, then when I went to install Evernote I realized that itt request access to too any personal items, ie. calender, contacts etc. So unforunately it has to be uninstalled.

Nice concept but issues Grid does allow resize on Galaxy S2 Ice Cream. Also should allow you to launch evernote so you dont have to have an extra icon.

Nice, but needs more flexibility A must have for the frequent Evernote user. I especially like the large widget that shows snippets of notes and provides easy access to them. However, I have some very minor quibbles: Someone else mentioned this, but the large widget's note previews aren't ideal for random or To Do lists. If I could show individual notes, easily choose the order of the notes, and have more resizing options (to show more or less of a note), I wouldn't use any other note-taking app.

Droid Razr Maxx I'm sorry. This does not work on my razor maxx. I have to uninstall for now. I'm looking forward to improvements. When I click on the widget it only has instructions on how to place a shortcut on the screen. My evernote works well though.

The Evernote App is great in many aspects. I haven't had many complaints that weren't rectified quickly. Great App, however the new necessity for a widget seems redundant. Oh well, great features and an extra app...at least its functional. No complaints here!

Re-installed and now working perfectly! EDIT Oct. 12, 2012: I was in error. The widgets I thought this app installed were the built-in widgets of Evernote. I just didn't see them until I had rebooted my phone. Still, I could not find the "new" widgets supposedly installed by "Evernote Widget" even though the install said it was successful. I installed again and after rebooting my Razr Maxx, the widgets appeared and work like a charm! Therefore I have upgraded the rating to Five Stars as the widgets do what they're supposed to do and do it well. END EDIT. Installs older widgets which do not work in Android ICS on Motorola Razr Maxx. Hopefully, the Dev's will update these. In the meantime...uninstalled.
