Epistle (v. 0.3.1) Разработано kookLab |
Epistle is a simple text editor that can sync all your notes with Dropbox.
* To correctly work with Dropbox and MS Windows, a note title can't contain the following characters:
/ | > < : ? * " ;

[2011-02-28] Matthew: Epistle + DropBox = WIN (N1 w/ 2.3.3 on ATT) Evernote was so clunky to me and the client software gave me nothing but headaches. This got me into DropBox which has made a lot of difference in other aspects of my life as well. I love the simplicity and lack of formatting. Just pop the file open in Notepad and I can hash out my shopping list or quickly dump info that I might need in the field. |
[2011-02-26] Chris: Great functionality. Needs some minor UI tweaks. I love the simplicity of the functionality and Dropbox integration but some of the visual cues need a little work. Text shows up as washed out and not very crisp. Same with the icons (including the pencil when creating a new note). Would also be nice to be able to change the background & text color. |
[2011-02-25] čukec: Sort by date option. |
[2011-02-11] Phillip: The option for a monospaced font would be great. |
[2011-02-09] Nurbldoff: please add a "night mode" |
[2011-02-05] Mike: Would be nice to have an option to discard changes in case you stuff up. |
[2011-02-03] Zatoism: Beautiful interface. Very simple. But, when offline and launched, it hangs on "looking for updates" for a long time. |
[2011-01-31] Steve: Would be my notepad of choice but title editing doesn't work with my x10 mini multitap or quicktext keyboard. |
[2011-01-27] WiLL: HTC Incredible. I've been looking for something like this since I got my phone! Works great! Must have app!! |
[2011-01-25] Mathias: Wonderful! Please, add ability to place shortcut to a note on homescreen! |
[2011-01-23] Dillon: Thank you for this excellent app. Keep up the great work! |
[2011-01-22] Huzefa: keep it easy & use Epistle...on galaxy 3... |
[2011-01-22] Mark: Bug fixed - perfect. |
[2011-01-16] ROBERT: Works well for a basic notepad. Syncs with dropbox too. Droid2 |
[2011-01-07] Gary: Works flawlessly, nice and sparse UI. My default app for list keeping. |
[2011-01-06] Afront: SwiftKey issue promptly fixed! This is now my default text editor, and Dropbox integration works flawlessly. |
[2011-01-06] David: SD card notes back up would be a great addition to not be fully dependent on Dropbox |
[2011-01-04] Nate Mac: Would be perfect if you could save notes into a subfolder and had a PIN security option. |
[2011-01-02] mrlanrat: Love the simplicity, but preferred the old GUI. |
[2011-01-02] Ken: Text editor is a little screwy. Even when it works this app is little better than the text editor that is built into Dropbox. |
[2011-01-02] Ken: Text editor is a little screwy. Even when it works this app is little better than the text editor that is built into Dropbox. |
[2011-01-01] Mark: Ok but goes haywire with predictive text enabled on my Galaxy S. Needs fixing. |
[2010-12-30] Andrei Neculau: Editing the title of a note with a compact keyboard does not work. Fix this and it is a 5 star app. thanks |
[2010-12-30] Matt: The new update takes away the simplicity for which I liked the app, but it's still useful. Also it now recognizes line breaks as unknown characters |
[2010-12-29] Erez: Epistle is great for using a shared repository for notes (e.g. shopping list). However, it does lack in the formatting options department. |
[2010-12-29] Gehan: really handy with dropbox synchronization. however, wud b great if it had more formatting options and better compatibility with notepad. |
[2010-12-29] ok4realz: Better with every update. Elegant and effective. This is my go to note app. EVO 4G |
[2010-12-29] Irene: Great update! Thank you for adding search & sync folder choice! This app is must have. |
[2010-12-28] Gregory: Newlines are not properly displayed in Notepad on Windows. When that is fixed this will be a 5* app |
[2010-12-28] Jun: . |
[2010-12-23] Nicky: Deletion in dropbox does not propagate into epistle. Instead the file is reinstated by epistle. Otherwise a very good app. |
[2010-12-22] Chris: I too get repeating letters in the titles. I'm using Better Keyboard on a rooted Evo. Other than that I really like this app |
[2010-12-20] Karen: Bewildering lack of options |
[2010-12-20] Jeton Aliji: Thank you for this. Looks great and works great. Awesome! |
[2010-12-19] Yomi: Can't read from our save to sd card. |
[2010-12-18] Scott: Love this app. Dropbox sync works perfectly! |
[2010-12-16] Yehoshua: It still needs work, but a good start. It only adds notes to dropbox, but it can't sync allready existing files. |
[2010-12-15] foo: This isn't an evernote copy. Works great and is quick. Nice job! |
[2010-12-15] Joseph Nally: One thing well! |
[2010-12-14] A.C.: Fantastic. Exactly what I've been looking for! Smart move on the Dropbox usage too. |
[2010-12-13] Andrea: Excellent. Simple and user friendly. I would just add a way to change the file path, but that's it. |
[2010-12-12] David: Interesting concept. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves. |
[2010-12-12] Joshua: Not Galaxy Tab optimized yet. I like the concept but Quickoffice allows you to use Dropbox too. |
[2010-12-12] Ant: Finally, I've been looking for something like this for ages |
[2010-12-11] geeknik: I've been looking for something like this... |
[2010-12-11] Dr1Ku: Very nice, syncs well. Could the next version include a setting for the folder path within the Dropbox ? E.g. "Dropbox/Foo/epistle". Great UI work ! |
[2010-12-11] petiot: Simple, brillant: simply brillant! |
[2010-12-11] Rob: Awesome app. Lets me have all my little memos available to me no matter where I am. |
[2010-12-11] Elkan: Love the simplicity and function. Feature request: a new notes widget, like the old 3banana one. |
[2010-12-11] izzyfanto: Im not giving you my email. Just let us export to our friggen sdcard |
[2010-12-11] glaeven: Much more stable after update. Just needs a way to rename notes. |
[2010-12-11] Shreyas: Was looking for something like this from a long time. 5 stars. |
[2010-12-10] Clay: So far so good....Droid2 |
[2010-12-10] offby1: Does seem to work |
[2010-12-10] cochran242: This app does not handle carriage return properly. When i open notes on the pc there are none. |
[2010-12-10] Ryan: Awesome app. Now for fullscreen support and Galaxy Tab size? It's my only reason for 4 stars and not 5. |
[2010-12-10] A380: Fc unable to launch. |
[2010-12-10] Zack: Awesome idea for an app, but it force closes when syncing to dropbox every time i start it on my epic 4g with 2.1. |
[2010-12-10] mrmoto: Great idea but I can't get past the FC to test it. Evo |
[2010-12-09] Scott: A dedicated new note button would be great. Search needed as well, ideally as you type. |
[2010-12-09] RaynerApe: Great app. Needs auto save each X seconds, each X changed characters. Needs rename older version for X backups. All X customizable. |
[2010-12-09] Anonymous: best notepad |
[2010-12-09] Jonathan Kay [MVP]: Pressing Link to link to Dropbox does nothing, even with a note made. Making notes is fine though. Using HTC Dream on 1.5. |
[2010-12-09] FW: Fantastic software, nothing less. Awesome if you use dropbox, i've been using Epistle for a day and it's terrific. |
[2010-12-08] Rick: A great 1st release. FCs on first attempts to sync went away after I created a dummy 1st note (creating the needed folder in DB.) |
