Privacy: The read contacts permission is used to get a list of names for you to copy into the list of gift recipients so you won't have to type them. The contacts information is not stored or sent anywhere. The Internet permission is used exclusively to send barcode numbers to Google to retrieve product names.
Note: It is not possible to sync contact birthdays, because Android doesn't have a standard method for storing them. Each phone manufacturer has a unique storage format.

[2012-01-13] Rick12: No birth dates? None of the gift recording programs I've seen have a place to put the individuals' dates of birth. That seems like an obvious feature to me. |

[2011-12-09] Kim: OK but Gift List Manager is better OK app but so annoying that you can't separate/sort people by occasions. Gift list manager does all this does and sorts categories better. Shame I bought this one. |
