[2012-11-15] Claudio: Brilliant!!! Exceeds expectations. And everything worked first time too. |
[2012-11-09] BobAtWork: Good App - Almost There Good app and worth installing. Does most everything I would want (two way synch and schedules), though the security concerns keep it from being ideal. The desktop component exposes everything. It would be better to only exposes specific directories. Also, I would suggest adding a public key approach so that you could tie specific systems together. |
[2012-11-09] Steven: Brilliant Now I can download music to my pc and it syncs automatically to my sgs2 every morning or on demand anywhere at home. Really polished piece of software. I dont usually do reviews but this is quality! |
[2012-11-08] Scott E.: Top Notch! |
[2012-11-08] theonlyrick: Password 'feature' is buggy Password keeps being rejected, often partway through a sync process. |
[2012-11-05] Misti: Self-explanatory, works like it says Although my husband helped me set it up, it was so easy to do I didn't really need the help. And when I need to make a change to a sync job, if I have a question, the help section answers it simply & thoroughly. Works great on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. |
[2012-11-05] Philip: Brilliant! Works a treat from my iMac to my droid & back again. Very impressed; even paid for the upgrade too! A really useful app. (Samsung Galaxy W) |
[2012-11-04] Tim: Only creates folders to pc It only syncs the folders from my phones and tablet to my PC but non of the actual files are copied. It doesn't work. I even pursed the soup and had the same results, just a bunch of empty folders are copied. |
[2012-11-03] Singh1699: Great File Sync Software with One Flaw Though this is a great file syncing software, there is one caveat. You have to purchase the full version for it to sync what you have deleted both ways on your phone/computer. |
[2012-10-27] Michael: Sweet! Works like a charm! Moved all of the photos I've taken with my phone over to my PC via wi-fi with Cheetah Sync. |
[2012-10-26] Dario: Ugly but works Might be ugly but it is the only one I found that actually works! |
[2012-10-23] Cameron Williams: Would be better Would love this app if it would turn the WIFI on automatically and sync when I get home. |
[2012-10-22] Paul: Awesome app Keeps synchronization fast and easy and use's a smooth U.I. on top of it |
[2012-10-22] Andrew: Very happy This is a very handy app. It makes syncing very easy, both ways. |
[2012-10-21] Ginge: Spot on Works great, just as advertised. |
[2012-10-15] LKs: Easy and fast sync Easy to setup Possible to various setup Fast speed in transferring files |
[2012-10-11] sketch: If only!! If only you could add support for ubuntu and be able to perform 3 or 4 way sync's between all devices !!! |
[2012-10-10] Jon: Ok Ok |
[2012-10-10] Christy: Great for my nexus7 This is just what I wanted for my nexus7 . A client and folder on my desktop and a sync button on my home screen. Quick and easy way to get comics, music, books and videos on my tablet without using all my bandwidth with drop box. |
[2012-10-10] sri: Very good Its very good. I in fact bought the premium app to unlock the features. You get 5 star if u provide an option to make a backup of sync configurations. |
[2012-10-10] Kristin: Awesome This is exactly what my wife and I have been looking for. We have one android pad and 2 moto razrs. I set three folders on our one computer to have her phone stuff my phone stuff and videos for thee pad in another and syncing is so easy I only had to show my wife once! |
[2012-10-09] Antje: App does a perfect job Syncs very quickly from PC to Android (Transformer Infinity Tab), is easy to set up (even when manual connection to network is required) and configure, simply does what it needs to do. Keep on going the great dev. job! |
[2012-10-06] Hankoboy: Too confusing I cant get the thing to work, I have checked the help pages - all I want to do is transfer files off my S3, but too hard and too long to do so deleted |
[2012-10-06] Hasan: Works great |
[2012-10-06] Phillip: Great app! |
[2012-10-01] VoSorin: Nice app, does what says |
[2012-09-30] Kevin: Awesome App; Awesome Support Makes keeping files up to date sooo easy! Tech support is awesome too; had a minor issue with one of the settings and of the devs responded within the day. Worth the money. |
[2012-09-25] GHOST: Great app I would recommend it for anyone who has a lot of files to sync between their phone and computer |
[2012-09-24] Marek: Great app, No FTP or IP addresses to enter but... Great app to sync your files from multiple locations. Fast, easy to navigate and set up. No FTP or IP addresses to enter. However, not fully compatible with my Nexus7 . Each time before doing the sync I have to manually set collision settings how I want to sync my files, computer to android or vice versa. Again, if you are on Nexus7 or any android devise having troubles syncing your files, simply edit your collision setting under jobs how you want to sync your files. I have paid for the full version of the app before this issue came to my attention. I would pay for this app if I knew about the incompatibility issue? Yes I would, despite the inconvenience of adjusting collision settings, the app is well worth the price. Hope they’ll fix it soon. BTW, great customer service, if you have any issues, send them an email, they'll respond very fast. |
[2012-09-21] Arthur: WORKS WITH REVERSE TETHER For some amazingly fast Phone to Computer synchs over USB. Cool!!! Didn't time it, but a gig seems to take like 5 minutes, maybe less. Wifi just crawls. |
[2012-09-20] Clint: Linux support? App shows potential but not everyone is on windows or mac. Is linux support on the roadmap? |
[2012-09-20] knj: Disappointed Paid for the full app, was for the most part disappointed. The syncing was not reliable, it seemed haphazard what and when it would sync. When my device display went to sleep it wouldn't sync. Folders do not match what is on my android device. And deleting files and having the deletes sync was also inconsistent... MySyncCenter is somewhat more reliable, even though it doesn't support deleting files yet and only works on PC... unfortunately my 15 minutes had passed and I can't get my refund. |
[2012-09-17] Wamani: Wamani It's a decent app. |
[2012-09-16] Mindaugas: Very useful. |
[2012-09-09] Big: Had errors but worked them out Kept getting Sync Error - I/O error downloading files after trying all the stuff in help section (firewall, port settings, turning off av/anti-malware, turn off read only as another user said) and cheetah sync still didnt work with the folder I wanted to sync. So I uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted jobs and tried it again, still not working. So lastly I tried just doing the JRT Studio folder it set up in my documents on my desktop. Tried 1 file, it worked, tired a few more files and a few folders with sub folders. it worked... YEAH... ok so I just moved everything I wanted to sync into that folder on my desktop and did the same (manually via usb cable) to my android ICS device and then added a few extra things to the desktop folder and it synced fine. It is a little slow syncing things up though, thats why 4 stars... and thats why I did the initial few GBs manually and now its decent enough to use for the here and there file changes. Hope it continues to get development, support and updates! |
[2012-09-08] Joe: Works This is what I was looking for, easy set up in minutes. |
[2012-09-06] Young: Won't work What a pity... |
[2012-08-31] Sonu: Top 1 This is best sync app works in background and even sync google drive folder in pc.. No.need to waste testing others.. Auto Sync ur data between pc, google drive and mobile |
[2012-08-22] Ajun: Great After using many sync app, but cheetah is the best. So I bought the pro version |
[2012-08-22] Steven: Looks good, but security concerns Functionally, this looks like a great app. My problem is that the portion that runs on your PC makes all folders--including system folders--exposed the the handheld. In the default configuration, there's no password protection. But even if you set a password, I suspect that the password coming from the Android device is not secure and would be subject ot sniffing by anyone else on the same wifi network. This is a huge hole. If the developer would allow the user to set the exposed folders on the PC, I would be more willing to give this app a try. |
[2012-08-21] Paul: Awesome app. Thanks for a very useful tool that offers a real sync. Samba is the only other, and it is a bit buggy on ICS. |
[2012-08-19] Chris: No job to big I've tried many sync apps before this and finally found this beast. I've thrown many sync jobs at this app, including 1GB movie files to sync from my device to my computer. It has never failed me, awesome app!!! |
[2012-08-19] cesarpayro: still needs improvement Keeps lossing the password or said its incorrect Sync will no sync or stay unresponsive |
[2012-08-18] Michael: Good Good |
[2012-08-16] David: FANTASTIC!! Simple...fast...easy to set up. It does the job where all others that I've tried have failed. |
[2012-08-16] Manager: Nexus 7 This seems to be the only app out there that lets you sync to a network location and have ALL your files available off line |
[2012-08-16] Victor: Please support linux |
[2012-08-14] Junyang: Great Finally something that works |
[2012-08-13] Terence: No two-way sync on Xoom It can compare the time stamp between source and Android device. it can only choose to keep files from device or from computer. It is useless for me. The good is the developer do response on support request. |
[2012-08-12] Chey: Great! Like dropbox for your home network! |
[2012-08-08] Rosspian: Worked 1St time, no hassle with iMac. Wasted lots of time with "Android File Transfer" getting incomprehensible geeky error messages, so I switched to Cheetah which worked seamlessly. Works by wifi so no USB cable needed. ________________ Samsung Note, Android 4, snow leopard |
[2012-08-07] Joe: Excellent File Sync Software I installed this on my Asus Transformer Infinity and it didn't work with all the directories. It turned out to be a couple of file names that were too long. Windows 7 lets you move or copy file names that are too long and then won't let you access them again, so Cheetah couldn't get them either. Once I removed those files, the sync went perfect. I have the directories sync everyday at 9:00 am. and it does it without any user intervention. Would recommend this software. Sure beats the iPAD and iTunes crap. You really can have all your files with you on the go! |
[2012-08-07] Samuel: Excellent app Could add USB support, but great app. SGS2 and XOOM |
[2012-08-04] Jefferson: Excellent Great app |
[2012-07-27] Rico: Great App, Top Notch Support I use it in a set and forget scenario and it performs flawless. Love it!! |
[2012-07-24] Mark: Works well |
[2012-07-23] Manuel: Can't choose micro sd card Wanted to sync to my tablet's sd card. Never found it listed. SyncMe did the job. |
[2012-07-21] Steven: Installed on Acer iconia simple easy to use no problems from start worth the money great little app |
[2012-07-19] Nguyen Dam: Awesome This's really useful software |
[2012-07-19] Gary: WOW Just the app I was looking for! Works great on Samsung Galaxy S3. Much easier than using USB & a PC backup utility. |
[2012-07-18] Peter: Peace opus Iconia tab. A great solution, intuitive, clearly set out. Works a treat:-) |
[2012-07-16] Al: Worka well I had a problem initially and the suppprt was great getting it fixed. Now I have a PC folder I change and want to travel with on my galaxy 7.0 plus. I just load cheetah, tell it to synch and the android is updated. Works great! |
[2012-07-14] Mel: Works as advertised Works well and easy to set up. |
[2012-07-11] nascent: Foldersync is better Foldersync works perfectly, has no hidden charges, and requires no pc client program running to work. Cheetasync requires extra software, and a paid premium account. |
[2012-07-07] Melanie: Excellent!! Great app. So easy to use and non-constricting. |
[2012-07-04] viraj: Bug When i delete files from my android mobile it does not delete from my pc .though i have two way synchronize enabled . Pleases fix this |
[2012-07-02] Isaac: Great App! I have been looking for an app that I could selectively choose the files I wanted to backup and this one works perfectly. And it has all the options required to precisely control the sync |
[2012-06-30] Kenneth: Simply the fastest and easiest way to sync PC to android! |
[2012-06-30] Broslaa: The best one yet! I paid for the app after the first trial sync. Cheetah Sync has replaced documents to go and synching through the data cable. |
[2012-06-29] Nick Bolton: Easy to use Great app. Just works. Shame theres no linux server or I'd give it 5 stars. |
[2012-06-26] Bysteek: A wonderful solution. Easy to understand, easy to set up. Works simply and effectively. I especially like the fact that you don't have to share a directory on your PC for Cheetah to work. Worth buying. Thanks, dev! |
[2012-06-26] Tim: Brilliant Does exactly what it says on the tin. Just make sure that your computer is not asleep |
[2012-06-26] Mark: Great for synchronizing |
[2012-06-25] Rick: Works Great but Very Disappointed The apps work great and I use it everyday. As a matter of fact I even spent the money to upgrade to the pro version. Where the disappointment comes in is in the increased permission that the authors of the apps require. Why is it necessary to discover all the accounts on my tablet? Decrease the permissions and I will give this app 5 stars. |
[2012-06-25] Rick12: Premium? I didn't see anything about limitations here, but after installing and setting up, I saw that one has to purchase the premium version to sync unlimited files. I haven't seen what the limitation is on the free version, but it looks like you can only do one folder. |
[2012-06-23] ty4jen: App I use I use this app every other day to transfer my files to my Mac. Easy to configure |
[2012-06-21] Emmett: Galaxy Tab 7 Plus Chetta works where others do not. It is versatile and reasonably fast. When I initially installed it, I had a problem with two directories. I emailed support, and received a reply the same day and had a solution in two. The problem ended up on my system and not with Cheeta. If your looking for a sync app, this is the one |
[2012-06-19] Cal: Wtf Intrusive, locked up my laptop with 2 dozen little windows that all had to be closed individually until I could get on with my work. |
[2012-06-19] jjocsak: Makes things easy It works |
[2012-06-19] Mikell: Wierd but Effective Initial set up is complicated and it can take a few tries to get everything set up correctly but once you do you can transfer an insane amount of data of any kind much faster than even usb. Amazing. I don't bother moving files to or from my phone without this. |
[2012-06-16] countblack: Brilliant app Runs in background, no fuss just syncs my photos |
[2012-06-15] Peter : Agreed I totally agree with darrens statement. Absolutley spectacular. At a client thats doing away with his laptop and making his tab priority. 2ez |
[2012-06-10] v1nc3: Good Work Smooth. Works great. Samsung S2 Android 4.0.4. |
[2012-06-08] Simon: network drive capable Easy and most comprehensive I've tried. Being compatible with network drives earned the developer $4 :-) A minor improvement could be an option to change the default folder. |
[2012-06-06] Lejothomas: Excellent app |
[2012-06-05] Zoandroid: Works around ICS file copy restrictions! This app is a great workaround for the inane elimination of USB Mass Storage connectivity in Android 4 ICS. It will let you sync any file or folder from your device to your PC (if you are rooted) and doesn't limit you to only copying "media" or "photo" files to your PC by USB cable as ICS does. Works equally well with both Honeycomb OS and ICS on my Acer Iconia A500 tablet. |
[2012-06-04] Dan: Not free One free sync and then pay. How to really test? |
[2012-06-03] Vahid: Why a client? I don't get why it needs a client on my PC? Does it more than what FTP and SMB have been doing for ages? Uninstalled. |
[2012-05-31] Leo: Simplistically brilliant NUFF SAID! HTC Desire (Bravo) |
[2012-05-30] Amit: awwesome just does what it is supposed to do without any problems. and the customer service is the reason for the 5 stars. keep it up guys. |
[2012-05-29] ktrask87: Fantastic First sync app ive found that works so flawlessly. |
[2012-05-27] Dayle: Love the app I am totally satisfied |
[2012-05-24] eric: Great app Works as it says it will. Makes my life much easier. |
[2012-05-24] Adrian: Smooth Worked SO well on my Desire |
[2012-05-22] Derrick: Love it! Works perfectly. Thanks. |
[2012-05-20] Stephen: Nice app Made syncing files easy, bought paid version, worth the three bucks. |
[2012-05-14] dave: Great product |
[2012-05-13] KazMax: Quite Good Technically this utility appears to be very good, but a couple of issues caused me to downgrade my star rating. First, the PC application would benefit from being run as a service. I installed it on my server, and it means to run the software I have to intiate a logon on the server and run it under that account. You don't run serious server processes under a logon account. Not a serious flaw, but would be a nice improvement to an otherwise excellent utility. Second, after installation the tablet application offers a £1.99 upgrade to remove feature limitations. Which is fine. However having paid for that upgrade there is no option to perform a refund, because the upgrade took place outside of the google play environment. Whilst I am content to have paid my £1.99 to remove crippled features I'm a bit disappointed that getting a refund would have required dialog with the authors and getting them to agree to the refund. For me one of the huge benefits of google play is the ability to request a refund shortly after purchase, which isn't avaiable with this application. Good work by the authors, but they need to go the extra inch. |
[2012-05-07] Stuart: Very Good but needs some Widgets Very simple to use and effective. Excellent. Would be extra brilliant if I could have widgets that ran particular/all sync folders with one press (i.e. no confirmation step). Hopefully this will come as this app is relatively new. What it already does is however very good indeed |
[2012-05-07] Markie: I don't like syncing personal data over Dropbox Don't like syncing personal stuff over Dropbox, so this LAN only sync is perfect for sensitive letters and documents. Syncing is done on my own LAN giving me total control over security thus bypassing security exploits from Cloud based syncing services. 5 stars! |
