was unhappy with update! But now v happy again! Five stars for all of the last year I've been using it. Did an update in early 2013 and it stopped working! I tried reinstalling three times....no luck. :-( So, for several months couldn't use it. But then, today.....reinstalled the update after email from developer and it's back to being brilliant.....and back to five stars. It does all the search things that google just can't or won't do.

Superb Support! Fantastic App! If you want the best app out there for searching your calendar, this is it! I've been using Calendar Companion for almost a year with no problems at all. A glitch appeared a few days ago. I reported it to Babak, and it was fixed in a few hours. This app is worth WAY more than $.99! I'd easily pay $5 for it! Get it. You won't regret it.

Lost in Time No Longer Ever had that moment where you knew something was coming up (e.g. birthday, meeting, anniversary) and you couldn't even remember the month? Especially when you have multiple cals. This neat app allows you to search for those dates!

New Updates Work Great The new updates are great. Setup is easier than before and the Google Now integration is a big bonus since the google calendar app doesn't have it. Just make sure that it is added to the Phone Search under the settings menu in Google Now. Also, keep in mind that Google Now only searches the data cached on your phone, if you need to search your entire calendar go to the app and enter your search there.

Great app! Due to the fact you can only search 30 days on the stock calendar. This calender search app is great, works awesome. The new update with a multi calendar search function is an excellent idea. Keep the updates coming.

Not great My main complaint is that what you search for has to exactly match the calendar event or it won't find it. For instance if the calendar event is "haircut" searching for "hair" won't find it. Seems pretty basic to me.

Obselete First, I purchased and (occasionally) used CC and found it to be a life-saver. But, it works only if it can access your google calendar directly, which entails both connectivity AND authentication. After I setup google's 2-step authentication, CC was unable to login to my calendar. This set me in search of an alternative. Which I found. PimilcalA, which I had recently purchased (other Palm refugees will remember DateBk6 fondly...) also uses the Android extract of your google calendar, and was thus also unable to find older entries. However, a post elsewhere (not my idea!) advised that you can EXPORT your google calendar to your PC, and then IMPORT the ics file over the calendar from which it was just EXPORTED. The effect was NOT to duplicate or otherwise mess with calendar entries except to tell Android they are all "new." Thus, upon syncing, I found that events back several years (don't know exactly how far yet, but at least 6 years) were now cached on my Android, and could be found easily by PimilcalA. Very nice. FWIW, I did NOT find that the search function of the built-in Calendar on my Android, nor the Calendar Pad app could find the older entries, and I've no idea why.

Developer is very responsive to suggestions. I suggested the option of larger type and it was added in a matter of days. A must have.
