Browsix (v. 2.2.4) Разработано Browsix Developer |
Still watching your photos and videos on a small screen? Looking for an easy way to synchronize your files with another computer?
Just point your browser to browsix.com and your browser will be automatically redirected to your phone to show your friends all your cool pictures, nice videos, etc. All of this happens without USB cables or configuring Bluetooth. It's as easy as reading an e-mail.
On top of that, we have added an interesting new feature: The ability to send and receive text messages from your PC. Just think about it, if you are at your desk and are a texting junkie, you will be able to type with something other than your thumbs!
How? Enable the Browsix app: all computers on your WiFi network will be able to browse your phone!

== Features ==
- Synchronize files with your computer
- Listen to your music
- Show your cool pictures and videos to your friends
- Send and receive SMS text messages
- Password protection
- More great ideas? E-mail us at info@browsix.com
== FAQ ==
- What about security?
-> We only store your local IP address so we can redirect you to your phone. None of your files, pictures, messages or other personal information is stored on our server. Only people in your local network can access your phone. If you don't trust people in your own local network, you can enable password protection.
- Browsix is slow:
-> Your Browsix experience may be slow if your local network is having trouble, if your phone is too old or if your phone is busy doing something else.
== Known Issues ==
- There is a network socket bug in some custom ROMs like CM6/CM7 and others. Due to this bug, you won't be able to connect to Browsix on your phone (a 'fix' is mentioned in the Browsix thread on xda-developers.com)
== Feedback ==
If you experience any problems or if you have some great suggestions, please let us know by sending an e-mail to info@browsix.com. We always try to help as fast as we can.

[2012-01-03] Nick: Where have you been all my life!? Saw this app in one of Android Central's "most used apps of 2011" articles. I am so glad I stumbled upon this app as I had not ever even heard of it. At first I dismissed it because I thought it only was for viewing media (pictures, videos and music) on your computer from your phone. I have no need for this but the file management and transfer feature is the real functionality I use routinely. This works flawlessly on both by Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4g Touch and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1! It is simple to open the app and with just one click, the service starts instantly (glad that I can select when it is on and when it is not - better for battery life). Navigating to the website is easy. No logging in or having to put in a sync code. Supports use of multiple devices at once on the same LAN. Website interface is functional, clean and simple. Never again will I need to go get the charger cable from my bedroom, bring it into the office and plug in the device and set it to USB mode. If you have ever sighed, cringed or complained even to the slightest degree when it came time to moving a file to or from your phone/tablet, then this is a must-have app. Well worth the cost. Thank you! |

[2011-04-29] Brad: Perfect on Thunderbolt, with AMAZING Support! I was trying to put together an automated systemway to basically control my phone through my computer, for when I forget my phone in the other room. This app, in combination with Android Notifier (and hopefully Tasker integration will come soon), makes it PERFECT. -- I gave the dev some suggestionsquestions, and he replied RIGHT AWAY. He is very willing and interested in improving this application. My main suggestion was to add Tasker integration... As it is: This app is still great! |
