Add shortcuts to your notification bar like how you would add them to your home screen.

Gain control of your notification bar now and make use of all that wasted space.

Any shortcut that can be created on the home screen can also be created on the notification bar using Bar Shortcuts. Create shortcuts to launch applications, direct dial or sms numbers, music playlists, bookmarks, phone settings and more..

Note that the application requests the Call Permission in order to create direct dialing shortcuts.

- Added an option to display the notification as "Notifications" rather than Ongoing. Access this through Menu-> Settings-> Notification Type. Note that due to a limitation in the way Android notifications work, choosing this will cause Ongoing Notifications from other applications to be pushed to the right. I highly recommend showing the notifications as Ongoing for a better experience.

Only One Flaw Great app. On major flaw in my eyes: shortcuts take up WAY too much room. Instead if square icons (like the other buttons in the notification bar) each shortcut takes up a full row and has an off putting grey background you can't change.

Cool but definietly needs improvement App os definitely cool but having only one app per line (especially with no way to resize it) eats up that "wasted space" real fast. Adding 4 apps takes up half your notification drawer leaving you space to only be able to see a couple notifications wothout having to scroll. Im sure it would take a huge over haul of programming so Im not expecting itll ever change but maybe Im just being too anal, or just too spoiled by aosp. Either way definitely give it a try and see for yourself!

Update for galaxy note 2? This app repaces barcontrol for me but it has problem with keeping the shortcuts on the notification bar. Sometimes it would randomly remove a shortcut.

Not what I thought I wanted to be able to add widgets (toggle GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc) to the status bar of Xperia so that there is just a simple icon for each. This app doesn't do that.

Crucial. This app works perfectly with 4.1 on my Galaxy Nexus and allows me to customize my pull-down choices on the notification bar just how I like them. I use Tasker to create what I want to happen, then have Bar Shortcut fire-off the shortcut. I pick whatever icon I want it to be with tasker, and have a ton of control. WISHES: --Change background color (or remove color and just have an icon with text) --More than one per row --Separator bars

Good! It does what it says it does. For free. At first the status bar icon that looks like and arrow w a plus in it will show up because it thinks there are too many notifications, but mine went away. It would be great if we could add more widgets, specifically the auto-rotate one. Other than that, this app is great.

Saves me a lot of time I frequently need to switch input methods when texting, however the second keyboard doesn't allow me to switch back, meaning I have to go to the home screen and open settings to change the input method which is time consuming and makes me want to throw my phone at someone. Now I can add language and keyboard settings to the notification bar thanks to this app. Saves me a good 8 seconds and numerous taps every time I need to switch keyboards. Thanks for this amazing app, have my babies etc.

. They are added top to bottom instead of small icons left to right. Takes up to much room on drop down. "Launch From" is better
