ASI provides a lot of technical infos(Hardware, System, Telephony...),Task Manager, App manager, logs viewer, battery stats, manifest viewer and more

Some people are suspicious about permissions used in apps. As Android System Info use a lot of them, here are some explanations:
- android.permission.INTERNET
Used for admob (to get ads) and also for flurry which gives me some infos for bugs tracking. A request can also be made to my server to check if a new version is available.
- android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
Used to read telephony informations for the System tab.
- android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Used by admob.
- android.permission.READ_LOGS
Used to read logs for the Logs tab.
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used, in the System tab, to access betwork informations.
- android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZE
Used to know applications informations, for Application Manager tab.
- android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used to write logs to the sdcard.
- android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
Used to read wifi informations.
-android.permission.RESTART_PACKAGES
Used by the task killer feature.
-android.permission.CAMERA
Used to read camera informations. On some devices(like the motorola droid), accessing to camera info will make some sound.

[2013-08-26] A Google User: Well...what can I say? As a IT geek, I always feel the need to check up on system specs on pretty much every device I encounter. With plenty of Android devices flying around my house, the needs to spec em' all hits the roof. Thus, Android System Info comes in handy. It works. |

[2013-08-26] A Google User: Does nothing I have a sero7 lte tablet can't store to 32 GB micro sdhc card this app doesn't even acknowledge there's a 32 GB storage only shows nand and internal storage I'm not griping with the developer as I'm running 4.1.1 its googles fault- LOL |
