Agenda Widget for Android (v. 1.6.17) Разработано Everybody All The Time |
Highly customizable homescreen widget which allows you to show calendars and tasks from various other Android applications. It comes with various preset themes and has 3 display modes (inline, icon and date row).
This is the free version of the application which is fully functional, however at the moment it does not receive feature updates (more information: http://www.androidagendawidget.com/free-version-going-into-stasis) unless you are using Android version 4 or greater which started out with Agenda Widget 2.0
The free version still gets bug fixes and will have some minor changes to the settings.
Agenda Widget Plus gets you:
A grid view
Support for UTD
New default theme
Cleaner settings
Calendar color override
Easier to make separate widgets
For a full list of differences between free and plus is check the website http://www.androidagendawidget.com/upgrade
More about the free version:
Calendar application support:
- Google including Activesync
- Motorola Droid corporate calendar application(now obsolete)
- Touchdown exchange
Tasks application support:
- Astrid
- SSI gTasks
- Dato GTask
- Google Task Organizer (Full version)
- Got To Do (Full version))
Scrolling is available with ADW Launcher, Launcher Pro, Go Launcher, Xperia Arv launcher and others.
Zeam has dropped scrolling launcher support, not my fault :P
Please E-MAIL with bug reports, comments are useless.
If you like this buy the Plus version!
If you are having a problem with the widget or have a suggestion about a missing feature, the ONLY way it will get done is if you email me or add a comment on the forum! :)

[2012-07-07] jk: Broken by JB. |
[2012-07-06] Joel: Simple n beautiful Only apparent lack of scrolling on Nova Launcher is holding me back from that 5th star and purchasing the full version. |
[2012-07-06] Dhariana: Cool Does exactly what I need it to do |
[2012-07-05] John: Best Agenda widget in the market I've been using this since my old Nexus One and haven't had any problems. Does exactly what I want it to, a 3x1 widget that can show 5 upcoming events |
[2012-07-04] Agus Tjahyono: Biasa aja Lumayan lah utk menampilkan agenda kegiatan kita |
[2012-07-04] Evan: Laggy buttons Since upgraded to ICS, both buttons are very laggy. Quick agenda literally takes forever to load. |
[2012-07-04] Bart: So. Much. Settings. Once you figure out the possibilities, you wonder how you ever managed without it. |
[2012-07-03] Suzy: Very nice... But you have to pull teeth to get the developer to respond back to your emails. Customer service leaves much to be desired. This makes me hesitant to purchase upgrade and support developer. As to app, customization is excellent. App is elegant. It does take quite a bit of time and effort to get it to look the way you want, but the default layout looks nice and elegant as well. I am using the version on developer's website with Pure Plugin (to use DGT GTD). I notice that it is a bit buggy about randomly clearing my tasks from the list. The tasks appear again when refreshed, but it is a little annoying when that happens. It needs separate color coding to manually prioritize tasks. It has messed up the ones set by DGT GTD, making my high priority tasks (colored red on DGT GTD) non priority tasks (transparent on Agenda Widget). |

[2012-06-07] icecream_warrior: Layout v shoddy Not intuitive to set up |
[2012-06-06] Alex: Awesome |
[2012-06-06] Matthew: Very Good, Highly Customizable This is a wonderful widget, and can be fully customized to fit specific needs and cosmetic desires. One recomendation would be a calender date fotmat so the widget looks more like a standard calender. Still, this widget app is very good, definitely the bestI've found and I plan to use it very much. Thanks |
[2012-06-06] adam: Almost perfect |
[2012-06-06] Andrea: Love it Great customization without shady permission requests. Thanks! |
[2012-06-04] Gadget Man 007: EVO 3D Bug When I click on a widget to open my calendar, it's distorted and the week, month, day, etc selector at the bottom of the screen is missing. |
[2012-06-04] Christian: Formatting glitch This widget used to have the format: day, month date, time: event...now it is: day, month, event, time. How do i correct this? It was simpler the other way. |
[2012-06-02] Katherine: Love it. Captivate 2.1 |
[2012-06-02] Venc: Excellent Highly customizable, nice display. Better than other task widgets. |
[2012-06-01] tasialue: Sync is problematic I love this widget, even for all its high learning curve. It doesn't seem to sync my Google calendar correctly, though, wanting to force close every time I add a new event in the calendar. The auto refresh rate, too, refuses to work often. Those issues aside, I adore the thing. |
[2012-06-01] S E: Sophisticated and elegant Best i've seen in terms of ability to look exactly how I want on android 4 desktop. |
[2012-06-01] Larry: Didn't work on Galaxy Note Seems nice but it didn't work properly, had problems fetching my events and tasks. |

[2012-05-31] Ala: Great widget app |
[2012-05-31] Deborah: I dont like new changes, this one's great. Jumping from Blackberry to Android phone, my world came to screeching halt when I realized I dont have my agenda set up! I can't live without it. I searched high and low, installed and unistalled different apps. This one is perfect and more than what I am used to (Blackberry) HOWEVER, yes there is a BUT, I get so frustrated, any agenda set up by me always have correct times. Agenda synced from facebook events always have different time. I went and checked the facebook event, the times are CORRECT but when its synced to this app, the times changes. WHYYYY?? Ie. Fundraising event at 4pm, the agenda shows 11am. When I click to open that event, it shows 4pm. HELP! |
[2012-05-31] Christopher: The best Life changing |
[2012-05-29] Graham: Absolutely Superb The best app around. Amazing ability to customise. Looks great. Really well implemented. Well done and keep up the good work! |
[2012-05-27] arachaporn: good app |
[2012-05-27] Jared: Almost perfect Would like the feature to be able to mark my Astrid tasks as complete directly from the list on from the widget. Besides that it's everything I could have hoped for. |
[2012-05-27] maslow: It rocks! A must have app. |
[2012-05-26] Joel: Excellent So far so good |
[2012-05-24] JestaCat: Thank you! ! This app is 100 times better than the standard Samsung Galaxy S calendar reminder widget. Set up is basic, customisation is more involved (but not required, only if you want to). Thanks again! |
[2012-05-23] Jessica: Jessica |
[2012-05-22] trent: Kinda fun But app keeps closing down unexpectedly. |
[2012-05-22] James Britt: Useless on G2 No widget on G2 |
[2012-05-20] Jay: crap a calendar widget that needs you to download another calendar to work? so wtf is the point of downloading this one then? pointless |
[2012-05-19] monsieurms: Doesn't work No widget appears in list of widgets. |
[2012-05-17] Dave: Great App - But Settings User Interface Needs Work I really like this app but using the UI is very confusing and a bit of a nightmare to use. For Instance, I have spent ages trying to change the current date text colour. Simple you might think, but the text settings work on a hierarchical system, when you enter the text setting screen, it's the settings at the bottom that take preference, not the settings higher up? When I tried to change the current date text colour I went in and changed the "Current date" settings (which is under "MODIFY ALL TEXT SETTINGS"?) - right - wrong! I eventually found out, after many hours of faffing around, that this setting does indeed change the settings for the current date, but it's the current date of the TITLE BAR which I couldn't see because had turned it off - arrrgh!!! If the setting was labelled properly, say, 'Current Date - Title Bar', it would have saved me many hours of frustration and stopped me going cross-eyed! I still haven't managed to change the current date colour and have given up. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if the built-in themes over-ride your settings or or may be you have to have the paid version. It's still a good app though, but needs a lot of work on the settings UI. |
[2012-05-17] Liz: The best. I've used it for years |
[2012-05-15] Claudiu: Awesome Thanks for the insane level of customizability. It is exactly what I wanted. |
[2012-05-15] m: Excellent Best Google calendar integration |
[2012-05-15] Brian: Its free. It's a pretty okay App. |
[2012-05-14] GBot: Excellent! Just wanted a full-screen, customisable widget for displaying my multiple Google Calendars since the default app wasn't working right for me. Is there a way for me to save my own Themes? I have found several customizations which work for me, so I'd like to be able to save my changes without losing the ability to quickly revert to settings that I'm happy with. |
[2012-05-12] Michele: So close... to what I want in a calendar widget. The date is repeated for each event in a day, despite having it set not to, when the scroll feature is selected. The developer does warn that the scroll feature may not function properly on all devices. |
[2012-05-11] Adam: Very customizable This app is fantastic because of the way it integrates Google calendar as well as task apps (such as Astrid). Nearly everything about the app is customizable which is fantastic. The recent update that allows you to preview changes as you make them is an excellent addition. |
[2012-05-09] Ashish: Good Good |
[2012-05-09] pulzar: Just what I want Greatest and simplest app for my requirements. Displays my calendars and displays them well. Easy on resources too. |
[2012-05-08] T.VO: Great Settings were a bit hard to understand and it seemed the preview window of the settings menus did not always refresh or change at all after toggling some settings. It is very simple and user friendly though and very customizable. |
[2012-05-08] Sasha: HTC Rezound Long press to add on homescreen, add widget, now it wont go past 'Loading. ..' Resolve issue and I'll rerate |
[2012-05-08] Angelia: Great! |
[2012-05-07] Mike: Try this widget! I never review apps or widgets but I had to review this one. This widget is awesome because you can customize everything (colors, font, size, date format.. everything). Is also has several preset themes if you don't want to customize it yourself. Right now I'm using the widget on half of my home screen. Widget looks great and really helps me stay organized. Try it out for yourself! |
[2012-05-07] Joel: Latest update has this latest release taken away the full scrren widget? I've noticed there arent as many sizes available as in the last lot. Please help as the full screen widget was the best !!! |
[2012-05-06] Rebecca: RRR |
[2012-05-06] Richard: Good If only it could display locations of events as well! Custom colors would be nice in the free version as well. Quite frankly, I think both of these features used to be in it... (unless I'm confusing it with another app). |
[2012-05-06] stew1e: Live it! This is such a great widget. Plus, the developer provides such speedy assistance. Would love the ability to sync with my exchange tasks : ) |
[2012-05-05] Jason: Love it Why have a huge calendar widget and a gtasks widget when this can do both and is customized |
[2012-05-02] praveengopinath: Good one Displays friend caster calendar too. Many options |
[2012-05-01] Max: Awesome widget This is a great app. I use an entire home page on my nexus as a planner |
[2012-04-30] Brian: Galaxy Nexus Works great... |
[2012-04-30] Taufpate: excellent best app |
[2012-04-30] Olly: Great |
[2012-04-30] Skeahtacular: Pretty good. Seems to be the best replacement for the Sense calendar widget, once it's set to 4x4. Lags a bit when switching between months though. |
[2012-04-30] Nirvana328: very nice great calendar widget, but the menus are confusing & need some cleaning up |
[2012-04-29] Andy: Didn't work. Just a blank screen. LG Enlighten |
[2012-04-29] AndrooUK: Indispensable This widget is simple and effective. I rely on it to plan my day to day activities. Allows displaying of all my calendars, and my tasks. Very well made. |
[2012-04-28] noCOMPLY: Real deal Totally destroys pure agenda widget. That Dev changed a major visual with no option for the original setting. When contacted about it the reply was basically that I was S.O.L. because no one else had vocalized an issue with the change. This dev is much more responsive. |
[2012-04-28] John M: Waste of memory Looks slick, but really doesn't do anything that Google Calender doesn'do already |
[2012-04-27] Hilmar: Good agenda widget Overall very useful, but cannot fix problem with cut off lines (bottom row in displayed agenda items) |
[2012-04-27] Affan: Excellent. |
[2011-04-05] J.James: Wish I could use biz calendar as my default for adding, but otherwise just what I was looking for |
