You have a witness to a hit and run you responded to but there’s a problem. Your eye-witness doesn’t know cars. The vehicle was grey, kind of small with round tail lights and was missing a hubcap, those are the only details you have. Obviously, you need more information, so you open your V.I.S. and let the witness look at the pictures. After a minute or two, your witness points excitedly, “That’s it!” Now, you know what you’re looking for.

The Vehicle Identification System (V.I.S.) is the only Patrolman’s vehicle guide that’s made by police officers for use by fellow officers. It’s perfect for law enforcement officials to use on the streets, for pinning down vehicle information when interviewing victims and witnesses, or to help determine or rule out suspect vehicles in an investigation. This app works great for security officers on patrol, too.

Simple Binary Converter and Base Converter.

Supports BIN/OCT/DEC/HEX

Input a binary number and choose your encoding (signed, unsigned, one's complement, two's complement) or input a decimal or hexadecimal number and it will calculate for you the:

•Binary Value (Base 2)
•Octal Value (Base 8)
•Decimal Value (Base 10)
•Hexadecimal Value (Base 16)

N-Bit Binary Representation for:
•Unsigned
•Signed
•One's Complement
•Two's Complement
•Excess-K / Offset binary

You can change the number of bits used in the settings (default is 16 bits).

The number is out of range or cannot be represented (e.g negative number and unsigned) the text will change to red. Green text means that the number is represented correctly.

If the number is outside the range (i.e too large to represent with N-bits) it will truncate it.
