This app becomes extremely useful when you are chatting on IM or texting with your friend and want to share a file or two with him.  DroidCloud also serves you as effortless image uploader. Moreover, you can also use it to share files from your computer to your android device. To make it resolve all your file sharing needs, you can just call the app from your Gallery (Share button) or Astro File Manager (Send button) and start uploading the file to CloudApp.

Pro version includes features such as

Backups your new photos, videos and other files from your phone to a shared directory within your home network. By a single click or scheduled to copy once a day. No server side software is necessary.

There are plenty of apps out there to sync your images to DropBox, Picasa, Google+ etc. Use Zynx when you want to keep your files on your own server or NAS.

This is an easy way to always have a backup of your photos, videos and other files.

All you have to do is to to share a directory on your computer/NAS with write permissions.

On Windows: Right click on a folder and select Share with. Select Homegroup (Read/Write). Thats it! You can also right click on the folder, select Properties. Go to the sharing tab and enable sharing with write permission. Try windows help and search for "share folder" if you can't figure this out.

On Mac: Select the meny Help > Mac help. Search for Samba. This will give you an easy to follow guide how to share a folder on your Mac. To use the Guest account tick the checkbox at: Apple > System Preferences ... > Users & Groups > Guest User > Allow guests to connect to shared folders. Then go to  Apple > System Preferences ... > Sharing and tick the File Sharing checkbox. Add a folder to Shared Folders. Click the Options button and tick the Share files and folders using SMB checkbox. I Zynx enter Username: Guest and leave Password blank.

On Linux: Right click the folder you wish to share and select Sharing Options on the popup menu. Check "Share this folder" and "Allow other people to write in this folder". You may receive a message which says Sharing services are not installed. If this happens, press Install services to downloaded and install sharing support. This may differ on different types of Linux.

Once you have a shared folder on your computer you setup Zynx with the computer name or IP-adress, the name of your shared folder, the username and password for your computer and what time of the day Zynx shall run when scheduled.

Zynx keeps track of what photos/videos/files have been copied and only copies the new ones. If you don't wont to schedule a sync you can use the Copy button to copy the new files.

The video and photo copy uses androids media provider and copies all located files flat to the destination folders. If you want to copy and keep a directory structure, use the advanced settings and specify the directories yourself. This will keep the directory structure.

The application uses the CIFS/SMB networking protocol implemented by jCIFS (licensed under LGPL).

Automatically synchronize your Google Bookmarks to your phone!  Background sync means you're always up-to-date, but it only syncs what's changed.  Use GMarks for Firefox, the Google bookmarklet or the Google Toolbar to quickly send bookmarks to your phone.

Choose any label to synchronize with your Android Browser bookmarks.  This means you can backup and export your browser bookmarks across multiple devices.  

Live Folders give you quick access to any label.  Use it to create a reading list on your device!

PRE-REQUISITES:

Caching the contact database requires space on the Android device.  It will be dependent upon the number and complexity of the contacts, for example

500 contacts requires 0.4MB (5 seconds to build).
1300 contacts requires 1.75MB (20 seconds to build).

Make sure you have enough space on your device or SD card.  There appears to be NO noticeable performance loss in having the database on the SD card.

Contact the developer before you buy if your contacts database holds over 10,000 contacts.  Some users have reported quick searching with over 19,000 contacts, but the device, indexed categories and data density are not known.


LICENSING

This application uses Google's licensing service which will check every 7 days to validate the license.  You will need an internet connection to enable this check.  If the check fails, the application will run in reduced functionality mode.

Save time/space and put 96 app icons one one screen!  If you have a ton of apps then this widget will put 96 of them, in alphabetical order, on one screen.  

You can hit auto-fill to add all you apps or you can control the position of each in the config.

Meant for screens 3.7" and above.

You can download the 24 App Widget Lite version to get a feel for this app.  Please try it out before writing a bad review.  I will work hard to fix issues.
