[2012-09-12] Christopher: Read only your having a laugh Loads of users have come over from apple including myself using 1password. Only to find its read only!!!!!! so how do i get new passwords into 1password without going on my pc or finding an apple hmmm hmmm hmmm |
[2012-09-11] Ralph: Great but... Wish it was more like the IOS version. Would happily pay for it. |
[2012-09-10] シルバ・ダニエル: been waiting for over a year for an app that is similar to the one in ios..this reader is awful. when will you release a full version of 1psw on android? |
[2012-09-09] K. John: Perfect Just what I was looking for! |
[2012-09-08] khoa: good does what it does. though it needs a design update bad. |
[2012-09-06] Ryan: . It's been 8 months since your last update, and there are still a ton of improvements that need to be made for this to be a standalone password app. I recommend everyone switching to use "Safe In Cloud". |
[2012-09-03] Masitah: Good Have better interface on Mac, but it serves it's purpose. |
[2012-09-01] Aakarshan: 5 Gud |
[2012-08-29] faxao: Nice to have ! Already a happy long term Mac 1Password user, I have just installed this app on my brand new N7 and I must say I am very pleased to say it is working flawlessly, keeping me up to date on any device/platform in real time. Still less appealing vs. OSX version as far as user interface but....hey .... the most important thing is having a reliable tool for sharing your password database cross platform, isn't it? |
[2012-08-27] @dr3do: Love 1pwd on my Mac, also on iPhone, but… …would be great/important if the android version could be same powerful as the iOS version. Means: userinterface is really poor, passwords can only be read, but not added, Sync has do done manually. Right now the android version feels more like better than nothing. Unfortunatley. A paid "1Password Pro" for Android is what I (we?) need. |
[2012-08-27] greyg: No linux client Because of the poor interface and lack of linux support I'll continue using lastpass...what a pity... |
[2012-08-27] Nick: Functional, but ugly The UK needs to be cleaned up |
[2012-08-27] iPalmer: Horrible!! |
[2012-08-24] towlieban: The app is stable but still no way to save new logins I'm very disappointed in AgileBits. Even though the app is stable and works fine overall, the lack of a way to add or edit an entry or delete an item is very frustrating. Switching to LastPass. |
[2012-08-23] Marty: Worth the effort Using a password manager is work but it is worth it. Use this with two-step authentication whenever possible. |
[2012-08-21] hybridfact: Good but small error Works well. On GN with jelly bean. First time it opens it turns off silent mode for some reason. This is only when Enable Sounds option is enabled in preferences pane. |
[2012-08-16] the 8/20/2012 bad ui, bad sync dropbox sync is very poor. the ui is very bad, could be a lot better. |
[2012-08-14] Grégoire: 1password free! Good app if you use it with a Mac & PC. |
[2012-08-14] Jim: Works great But please make a full client instead of just a reader. |
[2012-08-12] LonelY: Unhappy with Android version Works excellent with Mac book & ios devices but unfortunately DROID version disappointing. I'm looking for better updates where unlock code & auto lock options added to rate it 5 stars. |
[2012-08-11] do: Super Saved me few times |
[2012-08-11] Boaz: Great app Would give 5 stars if you could combine it with other app, such as paypal or ebay |
[2012-08-11] Shiloh Raj: Enable Adding New Entries Through Android App It'd be really useful if it could allow us to add new entries through Android too .. Still it's very much upto the need .. Looking forward to this feature to be added in further releases .. so 4 Star as of Now ;) |
[2012-08-10] kuoirad: Works well, could be better As has been stated in other reviews, this app works, but lacks features (notably the ability to edit or add entries or any sort of browser integration) and does not seem well integrated into Android. I think Android is an afterthought for AgileBits - their overarching focus is on OS X and iOS. Which is understandable, I guess, though disappointing. |
[2012-08-09] Luigi R. Viggiano: Best pass manager ever Just the best |
[2012-08-08] @fixedimage: Good, but could be better. 1Password is a very useful application for storing your passwords. However, I wish you were able to add entries into the application like you are able to do you on the iPhone and iPad app. |
[2012-08-06] Ryan: Ok Allows me to keep track of passwords. Using and entering these passwords elsewhere is a manual copy and paste process. Please integrate with Android browsers and drop the horrid UI! |
[2012-07-30] Joel: Good but no edit Would be 5 if I could edit yhe file |
[2012-07-29] Adam: Horrible Useful for viewing 1Password data, but horrible looking design with low quality images, internal browser is useless as you can't move the site around. |
[2012-07-29] Larry: Excellent |
[2012-07-25] Mich: Limited functionality - Reader app only I've been a user of paid 1Password for Mac and iPhone apps for years and whilst I've been happy with the app on those platforms, switching to Android, this app is still good, however not being able to update or create passwords on the Android device is a major let down. |
[2012-07-18] Carlos: Needs to do a bit more I'm happy I found this app in the Google Play Store; however, after being spoiled by the iOS version I can't give this app a full five stars. I'd be more than happy to purchase a fully working version if it were to become available. |
[2012-07-16] David P: Great free app Great application. I just wish that there was a paid for version that would allow me to updatr my details. |
[2012-07-15] Johnnyandcortney: Galaxy s2 Will not open |
[2012-07-15] Frank: Can't add from phone What's the point if one can't add new passwords on the go? |
[2012-07-14] Eden: Where is Drive support?!!! Where is Google Drive support?! SDK is out, let's go! No update since January?!! Anybody there?.......... |
[2012-07-13] Jerico74: Half way there I like the app but would really like a full featured version (with writing ability) like the iOS app. Linux too! |
[2012-07-09] DrV: Good stuff This app has saved my backside more times that i could ever hope for. Highly recommend. |
[2012-07-09] Dennis: Poor It can't search or read my droobox data file and the search in SD Card is a Joke!!! Not worth it at all x_x |
[2012-07-06] brian: High security But painful to use. The dropbox integration helps! |
[2012-07-06] Matt: Disappointing I'm a fan of 1Password on the Mac. I've used the 1Password reader on my Nexus One when it was in beta, switched to an iPhone, then switched back to Android. I was hoping the program was updated, but no tangible improvements were made. It still can't edit, and it has an ugly interface. However, it is free. |
[2012-07-05] Jaimini Vyas: Needs browser integration It's a good storage of passwords, notes etc. but unlike on the Mac, the app doesn't integrate with the browser and other apps. Hence there is no prompt for auto filling passwords and thus the app has lost the major portion of its usefulness. |
[2012-06-30] Tim: Corrupt File Will not link to Dropbox then crashes with a corrupt file message. hopeless |
[2012-06-29] Matthew: Perfect for on the go. Please add Google drive support in the near future. |
[2012-06-29] Ecke: Bad Horrible user interface and read only. Works great on the iPhone but the Android version is really bad. Time to find an alternative password manager |
[2012-06-20] Aaron Traas: Gets the job done 1Password is a lifesaver. I use the Windows and Mac apps to sync passwords over Dropbox. They are great, despite having more chrome than I like. The Android client works great, but the UI is mediocre at best. An ICS update would be nice. |
[2012-06-20] the 6/28/2012 GIVE US WRITE ABILITIES! Why can't you guys focus some energy on the dev of this? Seriously, you have released so many updates to the already full-featured iOS version, show us android people some love! This is the final piece of the puzzle for a lot of us! I will DEFINITELY leave your service for another if I don't have this soon. |
[2012-06-19] Hugo Sebastian: Great app!!! Highly recommended. |
[2012-06-18] Reverend: Unusable! Does it only READ my passwords? I don't have an SD card so it's useless anyway. |
[2012-06-12] wlh2: Great I just like to have a copy of my 1passwords on my phone, no need for sync or browsing on phone. so for me this app, though a little ugly and utilitarian, is perfect. |
[2012-06-12] dan: Not without problems Running on an Arhos g8 101 this app is a bit unreliable not properly syncing some login records. Internal web browser is (perhaps unsurprisingly) weak. Overall it's beter to use the 1password website link held within dropbox instead. |
[2012-06-12] none: missleading thought it was like the iPhone version typical that every iPhone app has better quality than android but you can't edit stuff surely this is basic stuff common switch to keeper |
[2012-06-09] Clovis: Can't save passwords This app only does half of its job... |
[2012-06-09] Joe: Good, but needs write capability I love the 1Password software. I have it for Mac Windows, and iOS as well. Switching from iPhone to Android left me somewhat disappointed with this app, in that you cannot create any entries, as you can with the iOS version. Also, it does not use the separate PIN for authentication. I had expected to see both of these features from iOS carried over. Also, it would be ideal to have this integrated with the browser, as it is in Windows. Even if not the default browser, a plugin for Dolphin, Firefox, etc. would be ideal. I'd change my rating to a 5 for this. |
[2012-06-07] Fernando Jr.: Effortless Great app. |
[2012-06-07] ziofront: 버그 투성이 |
[2012-06-07] Alan: Much Improved. Fantastic on GS3 with the recent improvements. |
[2012-06-06] Peter: No write support, annoying After more than a year still read-only. Very annoying. I invested quite a bit of money both in the destkop MAC and Windows versions, but I'll move to another solution if I cannot write soon on android. |
[2012-06-06] Zach R.: GUI Needs Revamp This works wonderfully, though, please do make it look a bit prettier. Currently, it is a bit ugly. |
[2012-06-06] Bastett: Almost good Nice that 1password supports android. I just wish you could edit password s on the phone |
[2012-05-24] ray: Limited utility Does not allow you to add data from app. Viewer only. No client for Linux systems, just OS X and Windows. As a result of these shortcomings, I prefer LastPass. |
[2012-05-22] KingDuck: New Records This app should never have been released without the ability to modify records. The rest of the app seems to work pretty grood but without edit it's almost worthless. |
[2012-05-20] Julio: Thank you for Android support! |
[2012-05-11] patent prosecution donner: Needs more work on Android Would be nice if software allowed new keys. Pretty hard to believe I paid for this. |
[2012-05-11] kogir: Works in a pinch... But the UI is awful, the app is slow, and syncing in manual and takes eons. |
[2012-05-05] Lofty: I love this app but I would love Google Drive support. |
[2012-05-04] sportz44: When will we have write? I have been happily reading and writing with the paid iPhone version for 3 years. Now I only have a reader on Android. When is the writing version coming? I don't want to move my data to soother app. |
[2012-05-03] Mark: Great Works great now after rebuilding my data file for the latest version. Thanks for the fast support from AgileBits. |
[2012-04-29] nowl27: . |
[2012-04-27] Plazzmex: Good app But disabling protection doesn't work. Always asks for the full password, and it's very annoying. |
[2012-04-24] t00r: Seriously? Read only still? Seriously? Read only still? WTF... I can only have so much patience for half a**ed apps... Time to look elsewhere. |
[2012-04-17] Hanoch: Great password and personal data keeper |
[2012-04-15] jvuong: Doesn't work I love this for Mac, but i have never got this to work with my android. Read all the forums and many ppl has this problem. Huge issue.sorry but its a piece of crap. |
[2012-04-12] Chris: A good password reader with poor integration... 1Password Reader is exactly what it claims to be, an app designed to sync and open 1Password databases. What the app is missing is integration with the native (or any other) browser, an optimized android UI (its a hybrid between the iPhone version and a quick simple Android app), and many of the features of the iPhone version. That being said there are quite a few improvements that have been made to this application over the year or so it has been around. First there is a much better Dropbox authentication technique that doesn’t involve as many hoops as was common. Aside from following the new UI guidelines for Android in a future update (this would automagicly add tablet native UI), full write and modify support for the 1password database would make this a pretty much complete version competitive with the iOS build. |
[2012-04-12] Shailen: UI has to be improved! Basic functionality is here, but the UI is not refined. |
[2012-04-11] Kurt: Lockout Does not obey lock timeout. Keeps locking when I go back to app on Moto Photon. Please make a browser addon for dolphin hd browser. |
[2012-04-07] macewank: Exposes passwords on ICS Android 4.0 UI enhancements cause this app to expose passwords in the recent apps list. Dev was notified a month ago but never bothered to fix. Great app, but huge security risk until they fix it if you're not careful! |
[2012-04-05] JD: Great Program, Even Better Support!! I have been using this program for a little over a year. A couple of the recent updates have conflicted with other items that I have on my computer. I contacted AgileBits support and they immediately got back to me and resolved everything in a very quick and easy manner. I wish all program support was this good. Highly recommended!!! All of the recent bad reviewers, have you actually attempted to send Agile any error reports? They will be able to fix your issue! Just give them a try!! |
[2012-04-04] Nalinator: Not useful For some reason they've made this so it can read your 1Password files from other devices, but you can't make any changes or add passwords to this. I've started using mSecure instead now. |
[2012-04-02] Rogério: Good app Good app! Sync with my mac using dropbox but the android app interface is very poor. Please update the design. |
[2012-03-31] Andrew: No access to Keyboard on Auto-Login If you use auto-login, you cannot access the keyboard to type within the app or to answer additional security questions. |
[2012-03-27] Joe: Works great. Joe 3/27/12 Had a problem installing on Droid Razr. Contacted support and all is well. Syncs with Dropbox perfectly. |
[2012-03-26] Aubrey: Awesome on all other platforms Longtime 1Password fan here - I regularly use it on Mac, Windows, my iPad, and my iPhone. The potential of the Android platform is far higher than the iOS platform, but this app's Android implementation is SADLY lacking. Please keep up the good work and give us a real 1Password for Android. |
[2012-03-24] Chris: Awesome Seriously a life changer. Have the mac version, pc version, and droid version. They work together seamlessly with dropbox. Couldn't live without this right now |
[2012-03-22] Paramveer: Best app Best |
[2012-03-20] Eduardo: simon 6666 |
[2012-03-19] John: Fantastic Cannot live without it! |
[2012-03-18] Gus: Imprescindible Si usas 1password es imprescindible e igual de segura que la version de escritorio |
[2012-03-17] Lawrence: Just an after thought? I've been a 1password user/fan for a while now and found the integration with my Mac and iPhone was awesome! The Android app is good in the sense that I can access all my passwords but this app definitely feels like it is just an after thought. I too have been seeking another password manager simply because I can't edit/add/generate passwords with this app... |
[2012-03-16] Francois: Move to SD? Great app, but my phone doesn't have internal cloud storage - move to SD would be welcome. |
[2012-03-14] Dan: Amazing!!! Love this program! It works well and keeps my data safe! |
[2012-03-14] dave's not here: Dropped another star Way past time to make this fully functional, again |
[2012-03-11] LockedNLoaded: Ok ok enough time has passed already! Make it editable already!!!!!! 1PW 3 & Dropbox are the shizz! Great start but no ability to make/edit pw is a drag. Nice to at least have access to my keychain. Make a pay version for editing? |
[2012-03-09] muppetjones: Still only a reader? I used to swear by this app on the iphone, but its usefulness is severely limited on android. It's been out for too long not to be a full version of the app. |
[2012-03-06] Michael: Room for improvement Does what it says. Obviously better on the iPhone. Started off mac-centric so it's not surprising that the iOS version is superior. I hope improvements are continually being made for the Windows and Android versions. |
[2012-02-28] Matt: OK, but needs ability to add/edit my 1password saved data from my Android device. OK, but needs ability to add/edit my 1password saved data from my Android device. |
[2012-02-21] KQ: Works great Works very good and is free! This actually made me switch from lastpass to 1password. But could use a little graphical enhancements for high density displays. |
[2012-02-19] Luis: Works great Synched perfectly with dropbox. |
[2011-02-15] Ken: Its time to have editing abilities... |
[2011-02-15] DerrickE: Won't import data file I agree with Ian. I've tried for weeks to get my HTC EVO to import my data file from the SD card and from Dropbox and it fails every single time. And there seems to be no support available, which has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. |
