Pitch Gauge 2.0 not only gets you the pitch of a roof, but also, easily calculate the amount of squares needed to replace a roof.


"Square Calculators" has been around for decades. They are usually made of vinyl or cardboard. People have always depended on them because it keeps you from having to climb the roof and it's pretty accurate. Now the Square Calculator comes to your Android device. It's easy to use. Get the Length of the roof. Get the Width. Use your Pitch Gauge in Camera View to get the pitch from the ground. Determine the Cut Factor. Then Calculate.That's it! In just a few minutes, you have calculated the amount of squares needed to replace the roof. Now that's Technology!

Pitch Gauge gives “the degree of roof slant stated in inches rise per foot”. 
There are a few ways you could use your Pitch Gauge. Here are just a few.

1.Set your device on its side, directly on the roof. 

2.If your device has a camera, you can enter Camera View. Line up the lines displayed with the slope of the roof. (**User’s Favorite)

3.You can set your device against the soffit. It’s usually the same slope as roof.



NOTE: The first way is not recommend unless you have the proper equipment and are properly trained to climb a roof.



AWESOME FEATURE:



Camera View: Never climb a roof again. Enter Camera View and you can get your pitch from the ground. If your device is equipped, your camera will be activated and all you have to do is align the lines with the roof. Your Pitch Gauge will display the pitch. You can even get the pitch from across the street.


Calibration: If you think your Pitch Gauge is even a little off, all you have to do is “Calibrate”. The calibration process zeros in your Pitch Gauge to the leveled surface you set it on.

**To calibrate your device please set your device on a level surface on it's side. Hold still then press and hold the Calibration Button. The count down will begin and end when the Calibration process is completed.

*Simple User Interface*

The simple, intuitive and minimalistic user interface makes creating and editing your charts easy, fast and fun. All you need to get started is just one button: "Add". Touch it to create a text box. Touch it again to create another one. Touch and drag the upper half of a box to move it around. Touch and drag the lower half to connect two boxes. Tap the upper half of a box to access its settings. Tap a line to access its settings.

Tip: Tapping a text box changes the appearance of the "Add" button and makes it easy to clone an existing text box. Give it a try.
