Overview

Image resizing software that is stored in the SD card. The main features are as follows.

On input images can be processed next.

Resize image, photo
Grow and shrink in size
Crop
Arbitrary rotation angle
90 degrees rotation
Mirrors (horizontal and vertical flip)
Brightness/Contrast
Sharpness
Blur

Output size is the size of the pre-registered output. There are a common size for pre-registered, registration is also available.
The size of the output to be registered and input images have different aspect ratios, the image will be cropped.
For the output folder can be set for each output destination can be dedicated to each power setting.

Supported formats are PNG and JPG. PNG is also supported on the transparency attribute.

Editions

There are two Edition of Resize.
Lite free and paid Normal.
Free version shows ad.
Normal version can output image maximum 4096 x 4096 pixels.
Free version restrict output image maximum 1280 x 1024 pixels.
Normal version has additional interpolation as follow:
    * Bicubic
    * Lanczos 3
    * Gaussian FIR(Precise)

Good features but won't resize from within mailer Better than Reduce Photo Size but it doesn't allow resizing as you select a picture to be attached from within a mailer (any mailer) while you are composing a new message. ie you have to select a photo first through Resize Lite and send it to the mailer.

Only real gripe is thumbnails not refreshing. Would like to be able to set a home folder rather than navigate every time. Resize-wise: very good.

Photo Editor Ultimate is the best where we define image resize (x*y). The (x*y) should be user defined and not predefined which is the drawback here.
