Tips:

Open a photo from SMS will fail because HTC want a gallery app with "SMS reading permission", but I think it is not logical!

. Nexus S 4.0.3: Its better than gingerbread gallery but GB was slow due to lack of gpu acceleration . Also better than IC roms build from SDK. But not as good as official IC update. IC gallery is not only faster it had 3D effects and is extremely smooth when scrolling threw pics in folders and when opening folders thumbnails load instantly

Annoyingly awesome Why can't the stock gallery be this good? I assumed the slowness was just due to hardware limitations, this app is blazing fast compared to stock and it has lots of settings to customize the interface to your liking. Glad it's free!

Phone User Gallexy S2, Exellent interface HOWEVER it won't give you the option to use the stock video player to play MKV files. The stock video player still have the best picture quality and somehow it plays MKV files when it was not advertised to do so.

Best gallery I've seen but has rough edges. Overall, QuickPic is pretty good, but I like it less now than the first day I installed it. It has some rough edges. For example, you can't sort by image creation date; you can only sort by modification date. It has a bizarre "Fix date" feature that's supposed to set the file modification date to be the same as the image creation date. Even if it worked (which it doesn't), it's strange. There are also several cryptic configuration options, but there is no documentation or even an English-language website. With a little bit of work, I would upgrade my rating by a star or two.

Way better than Gallery This app is much faster than gallery and is very easy to use. I have one question though, I noticed that in permissions that the app can prevent my device from sleeping. Is that a feature I can enable in settings? If so, where is it? I would love to set my phone to a something other than slideshow while I'm at work and have the app keep the screen on(so I don't have to change global settings).
