MobileLife Album (v. 1.2.5) Разработано T-Mobile USA |
Automatically backup photos and videos to your private photo album in MobileLife, your personal cloud from T-Mobile.
The MobileLife Album application automatically backs up photos and videos directly from your phone or tablet so that you don’t have to worry about USB cables, card readers, or be forced on to Wi-Fi. It just works whenever you are connected.
Once you’re home on your PC or Mac, you can view, organize and share your photos and videos to Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket and more by just going to the T-Mobile website at t-mobile.com/album.
Key Features of version 1.2:
- Automatically backup your photos and videos directly from your phone and tablet.
- More backup options for battery management and data plan management, such as auto-upload only when charging or backup only on Wi-Fi.
- You can change the size of the photos and videos you backup up to 50MB in Settings. Defaults to 10MB.
- Works over T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G network, without forcing you on to Wi-Fi.
- View, organize and share photos and videos from your PC or Mac by going to t-mobile.com/album.
- Share photos and videos to Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket and more from t-mobile.com/album.
- Download photos and videos to your home PC or Mac from t-mobile.com/album.
- Uploads full resolution photos so that you no longer have to view compressed photos that come out grainy.
Issues Addressed in version 1.2:
1. Back up issues for the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G and T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide devices.
2. Terms of Service acceptance issue so that you don’t have to go to the T-Mobile website before being able to back up your photos and videos.
3. Improved error messages when uploads fail, instead of the generic, “invalid” or “server error.”
How can we make MobileLife Album better? We’d love to hear from you! If you have any suggestions or encounter issues, please send us an email to MobileLifeAlbum@T-Mobile.com.
Notes:
- Access to MobileLife requires a My T-Mobile login. To create an account, go to my.t-mobile.com .
- Use of the application may require a qualifying data plan or access to Wi-Fi connection.
- “Auto Backup” feature works with photos that are taken by the phone or tablet camera only. Some device types may not be able to have their content detected automatically. This only occurs on devices the OEM has specifically altered the default camera behavior so that the folder structure for where the photos are stored do not follow the DCIM standard.
- When using the HTC Amaze, make sure the storage location for the Camera app is set to “phone memory,” not the external SD card. This setting can be changed within Settings for camera app.
- If you prefer to manually upload photos and videos one at a time, go to the Share list (e.g. from your Gallery app) and choose MobileLife Album.
- Sign-in sessions last 60 days but the user will be automatically re-authenticated. Users will only need to sign in again if their online password changes.
- Some users may experience issues signing into MobileLife Album. If this happens the try to re-set your My.T-Mobile.com password on the T-Mobile website.
- Users who stop an active transfer will cause a partial image to be posted in their album for the content that was uploaded before the “stop” or “pause” was executed.
- Users in their Android Gallery application with photos from Picasa will see an option to share to MobileLife Album. This action will not send those photos/videos to MobileLife Album. Users should only backup content to MobileLife that is local to their device.
- If you experiencing other issues, it might be helpful to uninstall any version of the application and reinstall the latest one.

[2011-07-18] the 7/19/2011 Amazing yet so simple I've lost more photos than I can count on my phone over the years and now it looks like I don't have to worry about that anymore. You can see the photos upload right after you take them and it was super fast. I checked out the MobileLife website right after I took a few photos with my new phone and I was amazed to see the photos already posted up there. It's pretty simple in it's execution, but it works so well. Love it! |
