Always Square I don't know what Fredrik is taking about, but Magic Hour has been square-only photos since the app launched. And he makes it sounds like curves were removed when they weren't. But yeah, this is SUPPOSED to be a supplement to Instagram. Not sure where he's been.

Update Desperately Needed The Filter Market is pretty much at a standstill, with only a small handful of users able to upload their filters. Also, the Filter Market is not automatically updating with the featured filters. Please update on all platforms so we can continue to use this app. Right now, half of the functionality, and most of the fun is gone. Fix will immediately get my rating back to the 5 stars it deserves!

Fell behind the competition A year ago Magic Hour was the most intuitve app that allowed curve adjustments, but unfortunatly it insisted on competing with Instagram by adopting Instagram's arbitrary limitations (only allows square format, low res.) So instead of becoming a respectable photo editing app (which it had a head start in) it stagnateatd. Now there are lots of better apps like PicPlay that have more features and full-res editing, as well as better interfaces.

This App have something odd The default size when u upload pics don't match the size of any of my pics, so when i try to use frames won't fit any of my pics. I'm not a huge filter fan, but this its the best one filter app bcuz u r able to create urs. I buy after update so don't see any issue, people that r having problems maybe they can try unistall and install again, sometimes that is what help when we encounter issues after an update.

Doesn't Keep My Downloaded Filters The app doesn't keep the filters I've downloaded from their market/store. I have to continue downloading the same filters to my phone over and over again. Not. Very. Fun. I just emailed the developer to notify but I don't know if it will make any difference. I want my money back!

Android dog This is so much better on iPhone. On android it's so buggy. As has been said already the latest update wiped all my own and downloaded filters. I also managed to get charged twice for the app. I emailed the company who make the app regarding the error but have not heard anything back from them. Uploading my own filters to the marketplace crashes the app unless i do it while saving the filter.

Its a really great app. Would have gave it five stars but there should be some improvements, like making the photo bigger because its harder to actually see what it looks like since its so small. & the other thing is everytime i exit the app it deletes all my downloaded filters which is kind of annoying. My favorite photo editor Love the editing control. I prefer to edit my photos with this app. I don't always want vignette and texture and I can take it off at any time. There are a few things, I would like it to have higher resolution options (as high as Instagram allows). And I have to tap it twice to open it. The first tap just refreshes my screen.

Excellent camera app but sucks power... This application provides a reliable, compelling and creative way to achieve truly interesting and attractive images. It also allows you to download creative filters for free. When I first reviewed it, I was so impressed I gave it five stars. Now after owning and using the app for a number of months, I feel compelled to downgrade my rating to three stars for one very important reason - power usage! I own an HTC Sensation which seems quite a capable and powerful product with good battery life under normal conditions. Generally, I can get up to two days of use from the unit without a recharge and it stays cool to the touch no matter what app I have open. The exception is Magic Hour. From almost the moment I start this app now, the bottom of the phone gets hot. If I use the app to do any photo manipulation, it eats through the battery in minutes. This suggests to me that the app's code isn't as efficient as it should be; it does good work, but is beating my phone up in the process.

Hmmmm Only one major issue for me which is the square edit frame. I wish I didn't have to make my photos fit inside it. Doing so cuts my photos to much, or I have the choice of leaving them with a large dark border on two sides. Try working on this issue if your able too. Thanks

Updated app, and now it force closes constantly... when I open a photo from my gallery -- which is the only way I use the app since it takes entirely too long to take photos from it. I use my phone's default camera app and then edit the photos in Magic Hour. Or I did. Now it force closes on me every other time I open a photo. I also lost every single one of my downloaded and original filters. The time I spent trying to find cool filters a few weeks ago when I purchased the app was totally wasted. I also hate being required to stretch out my vertical photos in order for them to properly fill the square filter frame. Why can't we just edit the photos as they are?
