If you looked at my family tree, you would find a handful of artists, including photographers in my mother and great grandfather. But it wasn't until May 1st, 1999 when I really understood why people take pictures. That was the day my son was born. It was important that I captured as many special moments as possible. A week did not pass, where I didn't email pictures to family or friends, or share the latest pictures with coworkers.
