As summer waxes, flowers begin to disappear from the mountains, but when autumn comes, they return, though they are somehow seem sad when compared with those of spring. The same yellows appear, but don't feel the same. Perhaps it is memories of summer and the approach of winter. They are not the same brilliant colors of spring, but they have a powerful presence all their own. This collection shows the flowers of autumn.

Small, beautiful and cute. They are the celebrities of the ocean floor.
Nudibranchs   a general name given to a diverse group of sea creatures with reduced, internal or lost shells. They vary in length from as little as a few mm to 20-30 cm. Due to their differing colors and shapes, many of them have been given unique nicknames.
Please enjoy the photographs of these beautiful sea slugs taken at Izu Kaiyou Park (from around the Jougasaki Coast, Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park's #1 Special Area in Futo, city of Itou, Shizuoka Prefecture.)

We love dolphins so much we can hardly hold it in!
Presenting the collected works of Shizuo Inoo, the professional dolphin photographer who quit his job photographing sumo matches after first coming to the Bonin Islands and becoming enchanted by its marine inhabitants. All of the available photographs of Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, Spinner Dolphins or Pantropical Spotted Dolphins were taken at the Bonin Islands.

The Bonin Islands, the UNESCO Natural Heritage, are a Pacific archipelago located about 1,000 km south, south east of Tokyo.

To meet the dolphins of this southern sea paradise, you have to board the once-a-week Ogasawara-maru ship for 24 hours.

His work has been featured in dolphin calendars from the American company Brown Trout, postcard sets from the nature conservation organization World Wide Fund for Nature, the poster for the oceanic documentary ""Dolphins and Whales 3D: Tribes of the Ocean,"" advertisement for the CASIO G-SHOCK Dolphin & Whale models and maritime advertisement for the Bonin Islands, among others.

"The Bonin archipelago: Islands Which Connect Lives"
Presenting a photo album of whales, turtles and sea birds which come to the Bonin Islands to give birth and raise their young. Presented by Toshio Minami, the nature photographer who fell in love with the islands and made them his home.
The Bonin Islands are a Pacific archipelago located about 1,000 km south, south east of Tokyo.
In June 2011 they were added to the UNESCO Natural Heritage list.

Toshio Minami
Born in 1970. A graduate of Tokai University, in 1998 he moved to Chichi-jima in the Ogasawara Subprefecture of Tokyo. While working as a diving guide, he continued taking pictures of whales, dolphins and other sea creatures, capturing the beauty of Mother Earth for the world to see. The theme of his latest work is ""The Islands Which Connect Lives.""

Toshio Minami's photography has been featured in maritime advertising for the Bonin Islands, the EPSON Shinagawa Aqua Stadium and the Tokyo Sea Life Park, among others.
In 2010, he placed second in the Nature's Best Photography Magazine Ocean Views Photography Contest.　
In 2011, his photobook "Iruka – Umi de kurasu honyuurui" was released via Akane Shobou.

1,000 km south, south east of Tokyo lies the Pacific archipelago of the Bonin Islands – the UNESCO World Heritage.
Whale watching is a popular activity on the archipelago, especially on the islands of Chichi-jima and Haha-jima. In the winter you can observe the Humpback Whales migrating there to raise their young, while early summer brings with it numerous Sperm Whales.

The Bonin Islands' Humpback Whale aka ~The Singing Whale~
Part of the Baleen Whale suborder, the Humpback Whale can grow up to 11-16m in length and 30t in weight.
In the summer months they feed in the waters around the North Pole, and in the winter they migrate to warmer climates such as Hawaii, Okinawa or the Bonin Islands to give birth, breed and raise their young. Around spring time they head back towards the North Pole, continuing their migration cycle. The Humpback Whale's song can be heard all throughout the ocean floor for hundreds of miles.

The Sperm Whale aka ~The Deep Sea Diver~
Part of the Toothed Whale suborder, the males of the species can grow up to 16-18m in length and 50t in weight, while the females grow up to 12-14m in length and 25t in weight. This makes the Sperm Whale the largest species of its suborder.
The Sperm Whale evolved with the unique ability to navigate ocean depths up to 2000m, which allows it to feed even on Giant Squids. In recent years, squid researchers deployed an underwater camera deep into the Bonin waters thought to be inhabited by Sperm Whales, managing to record the world's first images of a live Giant Squid.

Career:
Yuha began collecting foreign picture postcards back when she was just a student.
