The perfect companion for an old school film shooter.

Do you own an old antique film camera with no light meter built in?  Getting too lazy to bring a separate light meter and notepad with you every time you want to go shoot with it?  I was in the same boat, but now my life is simplified.

Meter light with Tiny Light Meter by using the camera to snap a shot and calculate the correct exposure based on the EXIF data.  The app always uses aperture priority and calculates the shutter speed in real time.

Record your own film exposure data by using the film log.  You no longer have to use a notebook to write down the settings you used for each frame.  Simply create a new roll of film, and hit the big red button to start taking information about each frame.

Film logs are recorded and stored in Comma Separated Values (CSV), so they can be imported into Excel or Numbers to be analyzed.  They can be shared easily by email or Dropbox if you have it installed.

You've just turned your phone into a light meter and notepad.  Give it a whirl, it's fast and easy.

Photography buffs - you can practice your eye by playing "Guess the exposure!"  Get faster and better by shooting manual.  Soon you can walk into a room and know exactly what to dial into your camera.

Use any solid colored background, snap a photo and this will remove the screen color and replace it with a cool background. Works best with bright natural colors like green and blue. Black or white backgrounds do not work well.

Crazy Lens is a photo transformation application for your Android powered mobile device. Take any of your images and apply any one of five crazy effects and then save the result to your sd card.

Choose from the following effects

Vortex - an effect similar to works by the artist MC Escher, and also referred to as the Droste effect, this effect rotates the image using 2 different radii from the center of the photo. The application settings start with defaults for the two values, but allow you to change them to something that works for you.

Pixellate - achieve a cool retro gaming 8 bit style photo by enlarging sections of your photo into larger "pixels" - This effect is customizable to give you a larger degree (or smaller degree) of pixellation.

Inverse - an effect that's similar to a reverse negative.

Grayscale - convert any full color image to a classy grayscale look.

Mirror - creates an imaginary dividing line across the center of your image, and mirrors everything on to the opposite site. You can either choose to have that imaginary line cut horizontally across your image or vertically down the image.

Finally there is also a UV Filter transform - that just displays an untouched version of your image for comparison purposes.

BETA application and if phone reboots on taking photos try uninstalling applications since memory on Backflip & Cliq is limited.

Motorola Backflip and Cliq built in camera application does not provide GPS tagging in the photos using EXIF headers.  This application uses the GPS in your Backflip or Cliq to embed the GPS location in the photos you take in this application.  Note, due to limitations with Motorola Backflip memory the photos are currently fixed to only 640x480.  If we can figure out a way around the memory limitations we will try and increase the resolution size.

The GPS fix can take a long time (or not at all) when indoors.  The application disables GPS when a fix is received.  Use "Reacquire GPS" button to update your GPS fix.  This saves battery by not constantly getting GPS coordinates.

Files are saved to the sdcard in /DCIM/Camera and can be copied off the phone using photo applications like Picasa, Flickr, etc.

Basic camera function to take a photo and GPS tag it.  We will be adding additional functions such as flash control, white balance control, zoom, etc.
