If you don't want your current ADW Launcher settings to be modified you should go to "Theme Preferences", slide to the theme and choose "ADW Miui White" in the icons option.

You can see the process in the screenshoots.

In addition, you can see the difference between using your theme settings (1st set of pics) or using the complete theme (last set of pics).
