Advertising spam! I will give a one star rating to any app that uses AirPush to put advertisements in my notification bar. If I installed a free app, I have no problem with the developer putting in ads -- after all, they went to the time and effort to write it, and if I'm not paying them anything for it, they deserve to be able to at least make some money off of ads. When I'm using it, I have the choice of ignoring the ads, buying the ad-free version, or deleting the app if it bothers me too much. I'm using their app, they're using a bit of my screen. Fair tradeoff. But when I've installed an app like this but I'm not actually using it (I tried it but switched to another one), and some unknown app starts spamming me with ads, that's unacceptable. I'm now off to give a 5-star rating to AirPush Detector that helped me find what app to delete.

I think this put Spam on my phone. I am not 100% sure but something put spam on my phone (ads in the notification bar, shortcuts on my launcher, etc.) and I am pretty sure that this is the app that did it. I have uninstalled this app and so far so good. The app store really should have some kind of clear notification when an app creates spam like this.

New ads are annoying This just started pushing ads to the notification bar. Typical spam junk saying I've won an ipad and such. The wallpaper is ok, but there are plenty of others that are better so i never even looked for an ad free version and haven't really used it. Uninstalling.
