Lag Lags phone really bad. I just use a jpg file now and it works great. Only 200kb too. This on the other hand takes 2mb of ram.

SERIOUS TECH COMMENT This app does create an inexpensive to run black screen once run under live wallpaper. ONLY when it is UNINSTALLED does it leave you with the TRUE DEFAULT wallpaper of your android phones first boot. Also to people with custom roms and custom default wallpapers that lose them due to changing them. This is the app for you. 6 STARS for you

Why is it a live wallpaper? Good simple app, but why live wallpaper? This may use battery. I just used Nova Launcher's wallpaper cropping abilities to make a black wallpaper out of a section of another wallpaper.

Looks awesome on samoled HD screen On the Samsung galaxy note 5.3" HD screen it looks awesome. This and the flames wallpaper are my favourites. Widgets and apps stand out against this wallpaper on samoled screen but guess on LCD might not look as great because LCD has backlight issues unlike amoled. Thank you, would have bought this for sure if paid version existed.

Couldn't find WP I assume this was to be added to the list of wallpapers, but I couldn't find it. For a very simple pure black wallpaper/background app, try Back2Black. Note to user suggesting taking a "dark" photo, you'll get a 1.5MB file instead of a 3 kB file. Not very efficient.
