This application helps the user to find out the telecom circle where a particular Indian mobile number belongs to. The user need to input at least first 4 digits of the mobile and press trace button to find out the location of the mobile number. This application also provides the operator name and the type of connection whether it is GSM or CDMA. But since Mobile Number Portability (MNP) has been launched in India, for some numbers, operator and type of connection information might not be accurate.

As new mobile codes will be made available to the operators, we will be updating the application to accommodate them and will come up with new versions of the application.

Have you ever wanted to keep your text messages and call logs private? Would you like to block text messages and calls from someone?  Would you like to be able to secure your text messages from anyone and everyone with a password protected decoy app?  Are you into cars and just want a text messaging app with a cool theme? Well, here’s your answer!

Hide texts messages for 5 contacts safely with a password protected decoy “Car Wallpaper” app.  Once you download this app it will place a “Car Wallpaper” icon in your app drawer. The app appears to have errors to anyone else that looks at it.  Text from selected contacts will be in this app only and will not be put in your “regular” text messages.  Text messages in our app are completely separate and secure. When text messages are received, you get a notification in the status bar that says, “Subscription notice,” which goes with the Car Wallpaper theme of the app having a “subscription error.” Only you will know it’s a notification for a text message.

You can switch contacts when needed.  Don’t worry - once the contact is removed it will not put prior hidden text messages in your “regular” text messaging box.  Does not transfer existing text messages – the two areas are completely separate!  Does not support MMS…

The hide call log feature allows you to add the contact and all incoming, outgoing and missed calls will be deleted from your regular call logs.  You must place the outgoing call from inside the app and you have the choice of saving your call logs inside the app!!!  

The Block text messaging feature will allow you to block incoming text messages. You have the option to save the blocked text messages so you can read them after you “unblock” the contact. Or we can discard the text messages as they come in. You can still send text messages to the contact while they are blocked. We have added the “Call Blocker” feature for that contact that is really a pain. We also give you the choice to save the call log for these blocked calls or we can discard them as they come in for you.

It does not remove or change your “regular” SMS icon in the app drawer. This is not a “Car Wallpaper” application! It is a decoy car wallpaper application that allows you to hide or block your text messages with password protection.

Note on Permissions:

android.permission.INTERNET is used to connect to the advertising mediation servers and our partner advertising network servers for the purpose of retrieving advertisements.

android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE is used to determine the existence and quality of a phone's network connection for retrieving advertisements.

android.permission.GET_TASKS is used to prevent advertisements from being retrieved when an application is in the background by checking to see if the application's task is active when an advertisement is requested. This is a workaround for the lack of global notifications about the active state of Android applications.

Mode:

GalleryLive has six groups of thumbnails (128 pixels to 16 pixels).
Each group works at different levels of layers and can be animated by its own animation.
And finally, each image has its own speed.

The opacity of the thumbnails is configurable so as to blur the background from the home screen.

known issues : sometimes ANR occurs, working on this damned issue

Animations possible:

from top to bottom,
from bottom to top,
from left to right,
from right to left
and finally rebounding.
