HOW TO USE:
After download, from Home screen, press: Menu button -> Wallpaper -> Live Wallpapers -> A Giant Squid.

REQUIRED
Android 2.1 and higher.
If you're not sure if your phone supports Live Wallpapers, check like this: From Home screen, press Menu button, then Wallpaper. If you see "Live Wallpapers" in the next screen then it is OK.

RECOMMENDED

Note on Permissions:

android.permission.INTERNET is used to connect to the advertising mediation servers and our partner advertising network servers for the purpose of retrieving advertisements.

android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE is used to determine the existence and quality of a phone's network connection for retrieving advertisements.

android.permission.GET_TASKS is used to prevent advertisements from being retrieved when an application is in the background by checking to see if the application's task is active when an advertisement is requested. This is a workaround for the lack of global notifications about the active state of Android applications.

android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE is used for accounting and auditing purposes by advertising networks. Advertising networks use anonymous unique identifiers to limit the number of impressions and clicks attributed to individual users.

android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER is used to set the home screen background wallpaper.

android.permission.VIBRATE is used to vibrate the phone on successful completion of setting the wallpaper.

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is used to save images to the SD card. Images are automatically saved in a sub-folder of /wallpapers/ on your SD card named based on this app. They are only saved to the SD card when you set them as a wallpaper. This way, if you remove the app, you will retain the wallpapers on the SD card. You may delete the wallpapers from your SD card if you wish without affecting the functionality of the app.

I have received many comments on wallpapers not working on their particular phones. Unfortunately,

some phone are not compatible with live wallpapers, please check the web to see if yours is

compatible or may need to be rooted. If by chance you get any error other than those stated below,

please let me know so that I can look into the problem. For those who may have issues downloading

or opening, see below:

I've downloaded and installed it. How do I set it up as a Live Wallpaper?
Follow this procedure:
• go to your home screen
• press the menu button on your device
• select "Wallpaper"
• select "Live Wallpapers"
• search and select for "--------- Live Wallpaper"
• select "Settings" to see the settings or select "Set wallpaper" to activate it

(* if you don't see "Live Wallpapers" option in the "Select wallpaper from" menu then your device

probably doesn't support Live Wallpapers or on the phone, go to Settings -> Applications -> check

"Unknown sources")

• There are three requirements to use live wallpaper: compatible hardware, compatible OS, and

compatible home/launcher.

a) compatible hardware -- any phone that came with Android OS 2.0 or later should work fine.

Anything that came with 1.5 / 1.6 may have problems. HTC Droid Eris, Hero, Legend, Spica, and their

cousins are known to have problems, even when updated to Android OS 2.X.

b) compatible OS -- Android OS 2.1 (Eclair) or later can use live wallpapers

A replacement for the standard analog clock, this analog clock widget provides a simple, yet elegant, analog clock widget for your home screen.

Install as any other widget by long-pressing on the home screen and choosing widgets.  Select this widget from the list and then long press on the clock to move it where you want.

Short press brings up the standard Android alarm clock (if installed).

Currently using this on my phone, so thought I'd share.
