Asciiquarium is an aquarium/sea animation in ASCII art. It includes multicolored fish, a whale, and a fish-eating shark.

This retro-styled live wallpaper is based on a Unix terminal program written by Kirk Baucom, which is based on ASCII art by Joan Stark. Animation may look rough, but that's the way terminals worked back then :-)

THIS IS A LIVE WALLPAPER, NOT A REGULAR APPLICATION! Please make sure you execute it as such before reporting that it doesn't work.

To run: Menu → Wallpaper → Live wallpapers → ASCIIQuarium

Tested and known to work on:  Milestone, Nexus One, Galaxy S, Xperia X10 Mini, Desire, Desire Z, EVO 4G, Samsung I5500 (Galaxy 5)

Live wallpapers won't work on: HTC Wildfire (with stock ROM), Motorola Spice, HTC myTouch.

#1.

*YOU MUST HAVE ADW.LAUNCHER OR ADW LAUNCHER EX INSTALLED FIRST ON YOUR DEVICE TO APPLY THIS THEME!*

This app does not run on it's own. It is a Theme for the home replacement/launcher app 'ADW.Launcher' version 1.3+ OR 'ADWLauncher EX'.  Therefore, you can not "open" this app by itself. This is a very simple concept.

#2. (further detailed help)

Once you have ADW.Launcher or ADWLauncher EX installed on your device, THEN you can install the theme. You do not launch the theme!! Rather you go to your main device 'Menu > ADWSettings > Themes Preferences > Select your Theme' > (Here is where you will see any theme(s) you downloaded to select and apply). Back out of the Settings area and you will see the theme is now applied to your device.
