People usually think deserts as places which are hot, dry, and full of sand. Indeed, deserts come in many types, ranging from hot to cold! Some type of deserts are rain shadow deserts, coastal deserts, polar deserts, trade wind deserts, mid-latitude deserts, monsoon deserts, paleo deserts, extraterrestrial deserts. They all have different land forms and all are interesting subjects of photography.
