Automatically changing wallpapers from RSS feeds - finally available for Android! Free!
Pick from these nice predefined feeds:
- simpledesktops wallpapers (must-have)
- wallpapers-android.tumblr.com (nice)
- feedburner examples
- blogspot examples
- tumblr (dig in)
- dailybooth (currently offline)
- TwitPic
- and more
And of course you can set your own custom feeds.
For example always show the latest picture of a tumblr or TwitPic friend as wallpaper.
Just set the custom url (replace <name>), eg: http://<name>.tumblr.com/rss
http://twitpic.com/photos/<name>/feed.rss
Pictures/images are updated every hour.

[2012-09-12] Choz: Never Changes Great idea, unfinished. It pulls the irst image from an RSS feed, and then it never chnges. I ca't wait to se if this gets fixed. Shorter/longer intervals needed (even i just to see if it works! Would love to save multiple feeds, and shuffle them, or switch them without retyping URLs. I hope this wallpaper project gets polished up. Would pay for more features! |

[2012-05-03] Grim: AWESOME!!! Have it running on my old defy, my new LG Optimus Spirit and my Asus Transformer Prime. Froyo, Gingerbread and ICS. Works best on the LG and the only problem I have with the tablet is some of the image quality which isn't the app's problem. First app I tell everyone to get. |

[2011-09-14] Gregory: Does exactly what it says! Would be nice if longer refresh cycle times were available, but that's a miner quibble. Beyond that, I'm happily getting a new Wallpaper all the time. Yay. For those who rated it low because it didn't open - read the info. It's not a standalone app, it's a live wallpaper. Once you install it, just go to your "Wallpaper" setting and select "Live Wallpaper". "Feed Pics Live" will be one of the options there. |
