Works. As the title says, this app works. I would have rated it higher if not for the fact it tends to freeze a lot on ICS.

So-so... As commented by another I've seen it download several copies of the same article, and none of them are readable. I don't like that it'll switch to the browser to render the article and you lose the aspect forcing you to scroll around to find the article on the screen. I'd have expected better from the Star.

App is okay but its poorly managed Content is constantly tagged to the wrong sections, articles are frequently duplicated and even triplicated within sections, and the latest articles from their website often show up late or not at all. Hire a new editor!

Seems to be a needy app! It is constantly reminding you to update it with new news! Makes one suspicious that it is a bandwidth hog! Also the app is constantly shifting the news article up and down depending on the height of the advertisement at the top of the screen.

Cool offline reading! Nice to be able to read offline! ! But ad at top pushes text down n up. Please make it stationary so it doesn't chg position while reading! Otherwise great app!

Fail Articles index no longer jumps to the top anymore, articles still jump around when ads change. Developer is alive but took weeks to respond.

Font size too small The font size is far too small on my Galaxy Nexus. Personally, I prefer a much smaller font. Would be great if this was customizable.

Toronto Star If you enjoy reading the Toronto Star on the subway, then this offline app is for you! It also works in a dark bus stop, where you'd need a flashlight to read a newspaper.

disappointed This app just does not want to work for me. The article will load and then when an ad refreshes it will wipe my screen so all I see is white and then even when my 3g or wifi are fully functional it'll tell me I have no internet connection. Since I mostly read the paper on my phone it looks like I'll be reading other papers...

TOO MANY ADDS!!! I understand apps need add support, but this is just stupid. Perhaps one add for each article. It is not possible to read an article without a new add every 10 seconds causing text to jump and irritating you to no end. Fix this and I might try it again. :(

Good but needs lots of improvements. Downloads quick and great when you are offline. Lots is small annoying issues. Swiping only works between sections and can't be used to navigate between articles. Popup navigation menu doesn't come up consistently and next and previous menus don't follow the articles as listed in the sections. News articles show up multiple times even in the same section and aren't marked as read together. No way to mark all articles in a section as read or move to the next unread article. I could go on. Please fix

Poor App - Annoying ad banner refreshes constantly causing you lose you spot on screen as the entire screen get refreshed - only one tab works
