From KUJH-TV to Kansan.com to KJHK Radio to the printed daily edition, the UDK has been an informative staple for KU students and alumni, reaching an audience of 12,000 daily. The program strives to serve as a primary, credible news source for a diverse University community by practicing high ethical standards, good news judgment, objectivity and creativity. All staff members are student journalists working in a professional learning environment, respecting each individual's role and recognizing that the publication is a product of the entire staff. The program also maintains an open-door policy and encourages reader feedback.
