Great app, just a one niggle with images Recent update is so much faster to load up - even on 3G. I have noticed some image stability issues (sometimes graphics change from high-res to low-res for no apparent reason while stories are updating) Nonetheless I have escalated issue to their Development Team and apparently it's being worked on. (Samsung Nexus S)

Worked on Galaxy tab 10.1 fine before update. Still works on HTC desire s but considering I'm paying a subscription It better be fixed ASAP

Install upgrade to 2.1 at your peril! Used to work fine, now crashes on startup. Market allowed me to install update but now tells me its not compatible with my device (Archos 70). Useless

Cannot get to ingear, which means no clarkson Tablet same as phone so lines are too long for easy reading. Having said that I am using it to read the news while free, will subscribe if enh made

Almost Perfect... only problems... like all newspapers and news channels... too much emphasis on sports news... and also, the subscription cost - when it comes into effect. Better charge for newspaper and leave app free. The app has the best interface of any news app I've installed, and I've installed practically all of them... it looks great and is easy to navigate. Well Pulse News is awesome too, but Pulse News is a news aggregator, so that's different and can't be compared.

A poor second Nice to see the android app, but a poor second to the ipad version, and also very inferior to the recently released Sunday Times Android Tablet app. The Times (and others) should reflect on the fact that the android platform is increasingly popular as a platform for both tablets and smartphones . Three stars given on the proviso it is the first draft (but it has been out for a quarter of a year now).

A start but poor substitute for print version Text is too small to read comfortably. FT has a much more readable size. No download of paper except for article being read. So no good for travel which would be the main reason for the digital version. Poor indexing and no Dr OZZY!! So-no chance of subscribing until above issues addressed.

Made by people who fear the internet There's no search function and no way to share stories. It's basically a light-emitting newspaper, made by people who fear the internet. There's also no way to sort articles by writer, so you can't skip straight to Caitlin Moran, Giles Coren, or Matthew Parris. Oh, Robert Crampton; he's good too.

Downloading stories is far too slow I have been waiting for this app for a long time, but it is very disappointing. Waiting for it to download content takes far too long; I lost the will to live waiting. So I used the excellent "Independent" app instead. This needs to be sorted out soon.

Disappointing on a Galaxy Tab I was hoping that this would take advantage of the Galaxy Tab's larger screen and render content like the iPad app but unfortunately, it doesn't. Hoping this might be addressed in a future build.
