[2013-07-31] A Google User: Great content and great app Love this app and its related websites/publications. During the 1.6 update periods, the widget(s) on the homescreen(s) used to crash on boot (Nexus 4 on Android 4.2.2 and 4.3), but I'm happy to report that since yesterday's 1.7 update, that problem has gone away and I've happily put the widget back where it belongs. If you want a great news and entertainment app with homescreen widgets, then look no further than The Journal. In spite of some of the reviews, I find the homepage easy to navigate, the search function on the homepage works great, and the in-article interface is just as you'd expect on a mobile (phone) device with a 4.7" (768x1280) screen. |

[2013-07-30] A Google User: Avoid Useless. Constant force closing, phone freezing and no response to mail. Smug and arrogant. Recycled stories from other sites. Worst of all, the editor is from cork. Avoid. |
