Catch up on the latest top stories with sections for South Florida news, sports, business, entertainment, opinion and much more. Not a fan of a particular section? Simply go to the Settings screen and choose “Reorder Sections” to customize your display.
Lost your connection? No problem. The Sun Sentinel for Android app will keep the most recently downloaded information in the app so you can keep reading even if your signal cuts out.

[2012-11-10] Brandon: Slightly convenient, but seemingly abandoned It has been over a year since an update. Could use some more features such as an Update All Sections button, caching of all subsections, sharing via ALL AVAILABLE intents (to story URL), etc. It is not surprising to me that Tribune seemingly outsourced an app with no maintenance contract. App is now basically a joke compared to other news apps on phone and tablet (NYT, CNN app for tablet, Huffington Post, etc.) Other Trib apps just as bad - even the LA Times for crying out loud! Check out the other apps from Tribune Digital and notice how they put the same crappy app out for every different market, with no intention of updating it. Even the screenshots are from Eclair. |

[2012-09-25] DJ: Most recent update sucks! There is no longer the option to view the city sections, like you would online or the newspaper. It's best to remove the app and go to your website. :( |
