[2012-01-11] A Google User: Kind of beta / not mature yet While it worked on my Droid 2 Global, here are my observations thus far: (1) To access the app's Settings, I have to tap the clock in it. This is not intuitive or normal. Pressing the Settings button on my phone does nothing. (2) Pressing Enter to add the typed name of a Twitter feed actually presses Enter instead of accepting the feed. A bit of extra work with regard to interface development would help. (3) Some things don't work in both portrait and landscape modes. For example, Settings works only in portrait mode. (4) I can only pick a max of 10 seconds of display time for each tweet. Shouldn't I have been able to enter a custom time instead? (5) It is completely a mystery how posts from the feeds are displayed. There doesn't seem to be any order (or even pure randomness) to it. Perhaps this can be clearly published. (6) The biggest con is that even though I have many feeds enabled, the app keeps repeating the same old tweets to no end. After the third repetition, this is a highly inefficient use of my attention, and also quite annoying. How difficult is it to not have recent tweets repeated indefinitely? Not very. It might be better to say "no new tweets" in grey. |

[2011-06-21] A Google User: Useful I was looking for a good desk clock that did more than tell the time. This nice simple and clean app give me the date, time and streams through various twitter feeds that you can customize. I now have CNN, ESPN, OMG Facts and other constantly on my desk which is nice way to stay connected while at my desk at work. However i would love a spot for the weather, calendar appointments and notifications within the app |
