[2013-05-28] A Google User: Upgrade Now that I have logged at this point I will rate it low only because it seems too simple and many alerts seem around the world and cannot control the amount of alerts or the type. If this has a sound alert I would be highly surprised. And when setting 100 mile radius I get alerts from all around the globe. |

[2012-10-29] A Google User: Didn't like it. No way to customize many things It's great if you want to be notified of every single event, even minor ones. But there's no way to filter that I could find. 1) Needs a way to filter size of earthquakes. When I had notifications on I was getting notified anytime an earthquake more than 4.5 happened... 2) Needs a way to filter alerts based on location. I really don't necessarily want to know about a 5.0 quake halfway across the world that has 0 impact on people. 3) Battery life is a HUGE issue. Even with notifications turned off completely this was sucking 5% of my battery daily. |

[2012-04-12] A Google User: Needs work... Great potential with push notifications, but doesn't display relevant information. Needs to include more options to limit alerts based on location. I have had this app for two months and haven't had a single alert inside the USA, despite having an alarm for anything within 100 miles of my location in Virginia, despite many local alert-worthy conditions occurring in my area. I really want to like this app, but right now all it does is spam me with alerts that I don't care about. Uninstalling til update. |
