nice concept but bad performance I like the concept of the app, and when it works, it works quite fine. But on my tf101 the guardian just crashes and inside the "tagesspiegel" the performance is bad. Prices are high and there is a very limited catalogue for german newspapers.

Trickery Tried to force me to either click on free trial of some press reader club or authorize button. Never got to the actual app to try it. I didn't want to join a free trial.

Warning! Do not use your credit card. It keeps charging your credit card 21€ month without telling it to you. Very hard to unsuscribe. I lost my money and now i have learned that this is their common way to earn money. I would call that pure cheating.

Is the nexus 7 supported ? Its installed and running fine. I have even logged in with my account ,but I cannot subscribe to any news papers. The add subscription button does not appear. Is this because of multiple devices with the same account or that it doesn't work on the nexus 7 ? Since this is my new tablet if this doesn't work I don't see a point in continuing with my monthly subscription.

Ok, could be improved A great overall concept, however the execution let's it down. Not all articles have the link for smart view, and often zooming in will close the paper and send you back to your list of downloads. Having a reality check on the pricing wouldn't hurt either (The Press, Christchurch, NZ)

Ingen danske aviser - i Danmark Børsen og Nordjyske giver åbenbart ikke lov til at downloade deres aviser, når man altså er i Danmark - og det er jo nok der man må formode at de fleste dansk-talende avislæsere er. Berlingske var tidligere med og har også "meldt" sig ud. Nu må danske medier altså se efter at komme op af hængekøjen og få deres ganske udemærkede journalistik over på nogle tilgængelige platforme. Og der er tilsyneladende ingen danske aviser der gider at lave en ordentlig news app til android.

Downhill slope Each new update seems to get slower and slower. UI changes frequently. Used to be able to read while downloading, that doesn't work anymore. Only checks new issues after manually opening the app, then it will download in the background.

Gave up After numerous cashes and many reinstalled despite a very nice and extremely usable reading display I gave up. Every reinstall meant inventing a new name for the tablet and randomly it just forgot I had a times account. What a shame.

Love it when it actually downloads Nothing like waiting a ridiculous amount of time for the paper to download. Usually stops halfway through and sits there forever.

I have no idea I have no idea whether this app is useful or not. That is because the first time I opened the app I was told my trial was expired. When I contacted the developer UAW their instructions they told me i had downloaded several papers a week before, all of whoch were from India, I'm a white guy in Oklahoma, USA and have very little interest in the Hindustan Times. I'm sure the app is fine but for me if it weren't preinstalled on my device I'd remove it in frustration.

Too expensive App works great and I really enjoyed using it. But they need some more realistic pricing models. Way too expensive if you only plan to read one paper (costs 3 times the amount of a digital subscription to the Guardian).

Great App This app does everything that I want a newspaper reader app to do. I feel like it's not fair to rate an app 1 star simply because you can't uninstall it. This app is great. I can read newspapers from all over the world, read trade journals and the app is a breeze to use. If you are wondering if this app is worth the money, I feel like it is. If you want to complain about the app being preinstalled, then bring it up with your carrier. Or buy a Nexus device. This app works flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Verizon.

Do Not Install This App! Once you install this app, there is no way to uninstall. Tech support is a joke. I'm sure they're aware of the problem but will not fix it. Even when you don't use it, you continually get notices to update. I would recommend not updating because who knows what 's being installed.

Too expensive This came pre-installed on my tf01. If it wasnt the case that there was a better honeycomb version but you cant uninstall the old version it wouldnt be so bad so it loses stars there. It works really well and having the proper version of the paper is excellent but its too expensive. I dont want to pay more for a digital version than print it should be cheaper. There could also be choices for magazines and less mainstream papers available. Good but not good enough

I emailed them this morning (Sunday) and had a response within 10 minutes.....from an actual person and not a bot. Samsung G2 and Samusung Tablet 10.1
