Potential to be great! This is a good podcast app. I have been a Doggcatcher user for a while and Pocket Casts is getting close to be a real candidate to topple it. It just needs some minor UI enhancements for useabilty and variable speed playback support via Presto.

They finally got it working on tablets! It has worked well on my phones for some time now, but the latest update added tablet support. So far seems to work well on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (honeycomb) and on the Archos 70.

Stitcher Replacement Stitcher is a good idea but it's always crashing and you can't skip ahead if you're heard Leo's Carbonite add enough already :) and Sticher has real trouble with spotty data zones, so I wanted something that was easy to use (while driving) and also allowed for downloads in WiFi areas only to go easy on my data plan. I'm not sure if the app will download automatically (I don't think so) or if I have to manually initiate a download, but I like the interface a lot. Buh-bye Stitcher.

My Favorite Podcast App My favorite podcasting app. It has everything I need and comes at half the price of the other popular podcast apps. Works on tablets as well. The design is clean but the app still more or less looks like an iOS port. I look forward to them adjusting the design to make it more look more native to Android. Also, the tablet support could use some improvement to better utilize the screen real-estate.

Great podcast app I love this app. You can stream the podcast or download the entire thing to the phone for playback later (great for traveling!). Amazing support too. I sent an email to them and had an answer back within 20 minutes. Worth the money Downloaded this from Amazon free app of the day. After hearing they received no money from it I uninstalled it and bought if for the full price. Downloaded this app when it was the free Amazon App of the day. It is one of (if not the) best Podcast App I've used for android. Only 4 stars because of a strange (not constant) bug that will stop the podcats and mark it as finish a few minutes after starting playing it.

Mixed results on my AT&T HTC Inspire When this app works it's great but it behaves very erratically on my device. The headphone function works about half the time; sometimes playback will pause when I remove headphones, sometimes it switches to speaker and keeps on playing. The auto-download feature rarely works for me, so even after finding new episodes while it's on my home wi-fi when I leave the house I find my playlist to be empty and nothing has been downloaded. If the bugs would disappear this app would be worth twice the price.

So good I HAD to pay for it ... I think highly enough of this app and Shifty Jelly that I bought the app just so I could review it here (instead of Amazon). To be honest, the app was a bit twitchy at first. By the time I got around to talking to tech support about anything, the problems were already fixed. Pocket Casts is simply awesome and the support team is more responsive than anyone I ever dealt with before. The app so nice, I bought it twice ... highest recommendation possible.
