[2011-09-24] Jim: Best in class. The best smartphone podcast client, period. Gotta love it when devs work hard to decrease permissions needed as well. |
[2011-09-24] Michael: Excellent. It just keeps getting better and better, best podcast app on any platform. |
[2011-09-23] Andrew: Brilliant I've tried loads of other podcast managers/players and this its the best! |
[2011-09-23] Trevor: Great app Tried many apps for podcasts before finding this one. It is, by far, the easiest to use with the best features. Exactly what I was looking for. |
[2011-09-23] Ronan: Enjoyed the entertainingly informative change log. Great job, guys! |
[2011-09-23] Rueshann: Best podcast app imho I thought you were also compensated by Amazon. I love the app and have no problem in paying for it here to show my support. Keep up the great work. |
[2011-09-23] Anonymous: Simple is good! Making it simple makes it good!!!!!! I came from a different more complicated podcasting app... |
[2011-09-23] Jeremy: A favorite app Great podcast player that gets better with every update. |
[2011-09-23] Jon: Pocketcasts rock. Google app market stinks. App market won't let me see this text input box. It's hidden by the keyboard and won't scroll. |
[2011-09-23] Jon Q: Amazing Absolutely the best Podcast player out there. Constant updates make it all the more useful. |
[2011-09-23] Will: Love it! :-) |
[2011-09-23] Ted: I didn't realize that there were so many podcasts. This app does a great job of finding, managing and playing the files. |
[2011-09-23] Ilias: Great app beats beyondpod and doggcatcher for me. |
[2011-09-23] Grand Ref Otto: Improving all the time. Vastly improved over the amazon free version. Lots of regular updates. Only thing I miss from doggcatcher is tighter control of per-podcast downloads. |
[2011-09-23] Andrew: Good with some bugs Anytime i play a downloaded podcast on my droid x it force closes itself. Great and useful app with a great UI otherwise |
[2011-09-23] Graham: Great app Love the UI very happy with this and like it far more than beyond pod |
[2011-09-22] B.J.: One of the best podcatcher apps. New update with custom locations for downloaded podcasts is awesome for 2 micro SD card phones like my Samsung galaxy s 2. |
[2011-09-22] Gadget: It took a little getting used to but it a great app once you figure out the mechanics. Thanks for fixing the glitch from this weeks earlier update. |
[2011-09-22] Roland Jay: Excellent podcast player Video works great on my asus transformer with the latest version. |
[2011-09-22] wCoolFox: Buy it. Yes. It's not free. But its so much better than Google listen! The developer is very dedicated and responsive! |
[2011-09-22] Jens: I digz it |
[2011-09-22] Tom: Very nice app - well worth a download for the price. |
[2011-09-22] the 9/23/2011 Awesome ease of use! Smart design. |
[2011-09-21] Paul: Awesome Works better than anything else I've tried. DroidX2 |
[2011-09-21] wezman: Potential to be great! This is a good podcast app. I have been a Doggcatcher user for a while and Pocket Casts is getting close to be a real candidate to topple it. It just needs some minor UI enhancements for useabilty and variable speed playback support via Presto. |
[2011-09-21] Samuel: They finally got it working on tablets! It has worked well on my phones for some time now, but the latest update added tablet support. So far seems to work well on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (honeycomb) and on the Archos 70. |
[2011-09-21] TeeKay: By far the BEST PODCAST APP for Android! ...a "top-drawer" app. |
[2011-09-21] shashi: 5* Best podcast app on android |
[2011-09-21] -andrewk: Fantastic app This is the best app ive bought for android tied with the game "cordy." Fantastic app that is continuously updated for performance and stability. |
[2011-09-21] Ryan: Best Podcast App Looks and feels silky smooth. Easy to navigate. Best podcast app I have used. |
[2011-09-21] Aqueize: Converted me from BeyondPod BeyondPod is a great program, but the interface is lacking. PocketCasts packs a lot of powerful features in a clean, simple interface. Love it! |
[2011-09-21] jcrichto: Best podcast app by far |
[2011-09-21] aaron: Getting better all the time. Friendly dev who cares about the end user :) |
[2011-09-21] Malicah: Great Great App so far. Need to fix video player for Asus transformer tablet though, I have to manually download and play in seperate player right now. |
[2011-09-21] Craig: Excellent support and program This program is the best podcast app I have used well worth the money and with extremley excellent support from tthe developers |
[2011-09-20] Chewy: Great Purchased the app here after getting free app of the day from Amazon. BEST podcast player! thank you. |
[2011-09-20] Joshua: A nice, simple, and well layed-out program that has replaced my need for a separate device in order to listen to podcasts. |
[2011-09-20] Raymond: I use this on my ipod touch for audio podcasts. Now that I have it on my phone, I don't use the app on my ipod. Love it! |
[2011-09-19] Ugly Pete: below average it will never finish playing. it ends 20 minutes though and won't resume. so unreliable |
[2011-09-19] Ben: Great UI and reliability. The only thing sucks is you have to manually keep the screen on while downloading. Different from other managers but more powerful once you understand |
[2011-09-19] Michael: Everything I need...almost I love this app. Very simple to use and understand. Excellent controls which are great for when you're driving. And the developer listens to what the users are saying! Here's one more request: lock-screen controls! Optimus 3D |
[2011-09-19] rdolishny: Stitcher Replacement Stitcher is a good idea but it's always crashing and you can't skip ahead if you're heard Leo's Carbonite add enough already :) and Sticher has real trouble with spotty data zones, so I wanted something that was easy to use (while driving) and also allowed for downloads in WiFi areas only to go easy on my data plan. I'm not sure if the app will download automatically (I don't think so) or if I have to manually initiate a download, but I like the interface a lot. Buh-bye Stitcher. |
[2011-09-19] Skip: Best podcatcher so far! |
[2011-09-19] Paul: Awesome!! This app is essential if you are a podcast fan, plus the developer responds very quickly to any questions. You won't be disappointed. |
[2011-09-19] Anas: My Favorite Podcast App My favorite podcasting app. It has everything I need and comes at half the price of the other popular podcast apps. Works on tablets as well. The design is clean but the app still more or less looks like an iOS port. I look forward to them adjusting the design to make it more look more native to Android. Also, the tablet support could use some improvement to better utilize the screen real-estate. |
[2011-09-18] Kyle: Great app I was using DoggCatcher, but the interface on this is much cleaner and easy to use. |
[2011-09-18] Mike: issues importing podcasts Disappointed Had truly wanted to love this app, given its attractive UI. BUT... after purchasing, can't add or import most feeds as.txt, opml or RSS. |
[2011-09-18] Derek: Best podcasting app |
[2011-09-14] Jason: Great podcast app I love this app. You can stream the podcast or download the entire thing to the phone for playback later (great for traveling!). Amazing support too. I sent an email to them and had an answer back within 20 minutes. Originally found this when it was Amazon's free app of the day, but I liked it so much I uninstalled that one and bought it from here to support the developers. |
[2011-09-12] Mitch: Almost perfect Best podcast app I have found to date! Please add lock screen controlls (like Winamp for Android) and i'd give it 5 stars |
[2011-09-12] Rando: Awsome Great Podcast app, uninstalled amazon version and got the new updated app |
[2011-09-12] Matt: Worth the money Downloaded this from Amazon free app of the day. After hearing they received no money from it I uninstalled it and bought if for the full price. Still has a few issues that others have pointed out (like stopping during a podcast and marking it that you listened to the entire episode) but is worth every penny still. |
[2011-09-10] Pat: Best podcast player by far Best podcast player for android. I've tried them all: Doggcatcher, Beyondpod, Listen, Stitcher, and many others. Pocketcast far exceeds all of them. |
[2011-09-10] Mike: Without a doubt, the best podcast app available today. Developers are very helpful and responsive. I subscribed within minutes of trying it. |
[2011-09-10] fractaloon: Great app. Great support. This podcast player has an easy to use GUI. Of the 6-ish podcast apps I've tried this one has worked most consistently. Developers listen to email. |
[2011-09-10] Ron: Very customizable. lots of features Newest version the best yet. If you had the Amazon version, delete it and buy this version A++ |
[2011-09-09] Brian: Great App!! Works great! My most used app. Devs are very responsive to customers. |
[2011-09-09] dee: Dee bomb Everything you will need out of a pod player best one I had |
[2011-09-09] Jason: Poor Support Dev refuses to help with a legitimate issue with app. Buyer beware, other podcast apps are better, I am out. |
[2011-09-08] Cam: Really quite good Use it every day after trying heaps of other xxxcast apps - this is my fav - please keep developing it! |
[2011-09-08] Isaac: Still doesn't save your place! Awesome with one exception This is a 5 star app except that it doesn't keep your place in a podcast and always starts from the beginning. That's a hug |
[2011-09-08] sonja: Great program I love this program! Very user friendly. |
[2011-09-06] T.: Great Helping to wean me off Sirius. Only issue is that the widget doesn't work on my rooted Mytouch 4G. Fix this, 5 stars. |
[2011-09-06] Karl: Great app. Please update the app to use the Android GUI guidelines for notification icons. |
[2011-09-05] balsam specific: These guys work hard for you. Throw them a few dollars. This is the best poscasting app out there. Stitcher is fine, but PocketCasts has em all. Decent interface, too. |
[2011-09-05] Akki: Just Perfect Worth each penny.... |
[2011-09-05] Gracc: Very convenient, but it randomly stops playing podcasts, removes the podcast from the list, and requires a force close on my HTC Desire S |
[2011-09-04] Roger: Pocket casts Great app but for those of us that bought on Amazon how do we upgrade as it's no longer in the Amazon app store? |
[2011-09-03] Craig: Yes Finally I found a podcast app to replace Stitcher. Has all the big name podcasts as well as my smaller local ones. Love it. EVO 4G |
[2011-09-03] William: I like this app a lot so far, its easy to use, very nice UI. I tried a couple of others but this is my favorite. |
[2011-09-03] Rene: Great podcast app. Tried a few already. This one is beating all of them quite easily. Great interface, worth the money. |
[2011-09-02] Tony: Awesome |
[2011-09-02] Dave: Been looking for just this app I liked Google Listen, but it was missing so many needed features. Pocket Casts fills the gap perfectly. |
[2011-09-02] spygamer12: Great podcast app I love this app, it is definitely worth the buy. could you please add the option on what to do after an episode is done playing? Like stop, next epi.. |
[2011-09-02] robrobinson: Best podcast app I've used onAndroid. Love it. |
[2011-09-02] Gavin: Great podcast app, highly recommended. Latest update is great. Well worth the price. Don't be cheap, support the developers and buy it! |
[2011-09-02] Kunwar: Best podcast app ever! This is definitely the best podcast app that I have ever used. Well worth the price! |
[2011-09-02] Trav: Best podcast app! This is by far the best podcast app I have ever used. Great UI and easier than using iTunes. Great job! |
[2011-09-02] Jason Conner: Podcasts on droid made Easy! I listen to so many more now that I can easily manage subscriptions in pocket casts. Thanks! |
[2011-09-02] Johnebs: Downloaded this app when it was the free Amazon App of the day. It is one of (if not the) best Podcast App I've used for android. Only 4 stars because of a strange (not constant) bug that will stop the podcats and mark it as finish a few minutes after starting playing it. |
[2011-08-31] Jason: Love this app, had it on iOS, had to have it on Android. |
[2011-08-31] gene26: Very good This app is fantastic. Worth the money. Unfortunately, it has been forced closing a lot lately for me. |
[2011-08-27] James: Dev has priority problem I would like to see the developer spend more time fixing bugs and improving the app over complaining about being ripped off by Amazon. |
[2011-08-26] Gus: Not for streaming ReStarts from the beginning while streaming if data flow is interrupted. Absolutely aggravating! ! |
[2011-08-26] Paul: Mixed results on my AT&T HTC Inspire When this app works it's great but it behaves very erratically on my device. The headphone function works about half the time; sometimes playback will pause when I remove headphones, sometimes it switches to speaker and keeps on playing. The auto-download feature rarely works for me, so even after finding new episodes while it's on my home wi-fi when I leave the house I find my playlist to be empty and nothing has been downloaded. If the bugs would disappear this app would be worth twice the price. |
[2011-08-24] Orlando: Awesome Love it....I have a long commute and when o&a are done the pocket podcast comes on......love it!!!!!! |
[2011-08-24] Matthew: Great app,i really like that i can stream or dl a podcast for when i am traveling, really great easy to find my favrite podcasts too |
[2011-08-24] Don: So good I HAD to pay for it ... I think highly enough of this app and Shifty Jelly that I bought the app just so I could review it here (instead of Amazon). To be honest, the app was a bit twitchy at first. By the time I got around to talking to tech support about anything, the problems were already fixed. Pocket Casts is simply awesome and the support team is more responsive than anyone I ever dealt with before. The app so nice, I bought it twice ... highest recommendation possible. |
[2011-08-23] Roman: Oh... It's so awesome! |
[2011-08-22] the 8/22/2011 Very good. This has the most extensive podcast selection that I've seen so far you just have to search for them. A must have for commuters. |
[2011-08-22] Dell: Love it! Just wish it could sync with podcasts in Google Reader, and it's perfect. Love the wealth of podcasts in the search database also. |
[2011-08-21] Anuria: Awesome podcatcher Nexus One running cyanogen 7 |
[2011-08-21] Andrew: Polished Slick, polished, and bug free. Great user interface. |
[2011-08-21] shingi: Im loving this app Been Using listen but wanted upgrade to something a little more advanced. This adds a lot of functionality for a decent price. |
[2011-08-20] Bryan: Move to SD card Can we get move to sd card capability? I have a nexus one and I'm completely out of space. Otherwise its a great app. |
[2011-08-20] julian: Just what the android market needed. Now I can finally get rid of my iphone for good |
[2011-08-20] Neil: Very happy! I bought this on here after reading about what amazon did to the developers. I already had the app, but consider this a tip! :) |
