Solid for years Well designed app the provides bits of National news mixed with local top stories, but gives you the choice to view only local and even just individual city news. They list stories by other local news networks so this should be your one stop reliable app.

Crashes a lot On nexus 7, com module errors out twice every time tablet is started up. Still no comment support yet either. As for why it will not start on the new version, there appears to be a com module missing.

Need comments! One of the best things about Masslive are the user comments on the stories. Unfortunately the app doesn't allow you to see comments. Good app otherwise.

Interferes with Internet I used to like this app on my Samsung Galaxy S, but problems started. Every time I turned the phone on, I'd get a message that Masslive was being forced to close - it wasn't even on. Connection time to the internet became very slow. I finally deleted this app and the connection speed soared afterwards. It had useful info, but the app was killing my phone for some reason.

App is good Paper could be better The Republican has for years fulfilled it's agenda...being biased toward liberal causes. Instead of reporting the news, the ediforial bent toward telling the the public what to think, is often times to me repulsive. Please, and I know this will fall on deaf ears, report the news instead of skewing it to reflect a certain point of view. Walter Cronkite NEVER revealed that he was a far left liberal until he retired.
