From around the world, we are accepting donations for “Earthquakes in Japan”.
Japan was hit by one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded on March 11, 2011. The earthquakes caused tsunami. The tsunami destroyed many towns. Because of this disaster, more than 10,000 people died and many people are still missing. In addition, 500,000 people became homeless and live in shelters. Japanese government said that reconstruction costs will exceed 25 trillion yen, which correspond to more than 250 billion dollars.
Japan requires the cooperation of people around the world. Collected donations will be used for people who were suffered from the earthquakes and tsunami, and for reconstruction of Tohoku region such as Sendai, Fukushima, and Iwate.
