Good list of links This apps core differentiator seems to be its offline capabilities which aren't useful for me. Other HN apps offer in-app browsing of result links rather than just linking out to default browser.

Downgrading my rating again. Needs updating. Couple of bugs: long URLs get cut off and go to bad URL, punctuation is often printed as it's HTML code. Update to previous review: this has now fallen into complete disrepair. Article link now usually goes to wrong article. Uninstalling.

Good, but buggy. I've been a satisfied user of this client for many months, but recently it's had a tendency to load the wrong set of comments for a story. Combined with the URL mangling issues, I decided to switch to the newer "HN" app.

Great! This is the best hacker news app I have found. I use it just for reading, it looks great and it is fast.

OK with a lot of minor bugs - past page 2 same items are recycled - HTTP links in posts are truncated and therefore broken - formatting (a lot of code blocks) is lost in posts - limited character set, all non English characters are ignored (even common ones in ASCII)

Very nice design, but buggy. Like the "save" feature, and general feel. Plagued by numerous minor annoyances like occasional freezes, long links not opening, "open comments on click" not wirking for saved articles.

There are a number of things that I would like: -> Ability to login to HN. -> See usernames beside comments, or at least on clicking/hovering on comment -> Ability to upvote etc would be brilliant, but I realise that it would affect your HN rate limiting. -> Unicode characters and often just symbols show incorrectly in comments which is very annoying

Best HN app by far Beautiful and reliable. Minor bug on Nexus S: refreshing comments adds them to the original ones (so it shows duplicates).

Great App Up until I found this app, I always used Mr. Trager's HN Reader. But over time, I've gotten fed up with service being down, comments that were oddly formatted, and subtle UI bugs. This program fixes almost all of that. The UI is nice to use and pleasing to the eye, important (to me) information like the number of comments and points is visible, and even small details like zebra-striping comments all work. I'm very pleased.
