[2012-08-22] Troy: Battery & CPU drain Unlike any of my other news apps, this one is constantly running in the background, sucking cpu, thus battery, and constantly polling data. Uninstalled. Too bad app sucks, otherwise I like Canoe news. |

[2012-07-30] Brian: Uninstalling Given that canoe.CA has been in existence for over a decade, one would expect that their mobile app would be slick, clean and bleeding edge. Back to the drawing board Canoe ... this mobile app isn't close ... its a major miss by a company that could and should have done a better job. |

[2012-07-14] Mike: 1 GB data in a few days! My phone battery has been horrible for the last two days and I found out canoe had 1 GB data over that time. Once I uninstall this my phone holds a charge. |

[2012-07-12] Darrell: DONT INSTALL Used 1.73GB of data in 6 days. Not sure what is up with this app. Worked fine on my blackberry. Installed it on my S3 and it ate all my data in the background. Only used the app a few times |
